I been an installer for 30 years and your videos help me a lot to do my work faster.
Thank you!
Thank you for the great feedback!
Excellent job.. very very good 👍
Looks good
you could also set up a reachable dash mount for a phone and run a 3.5mm (phone) to rca (behind console) and use the third aux setting to access whatever audio the phone is playing (first two aux settings being xm radio) ... costs less than $30 and you can use google assistant driving mode for navigation (maps), text / call and streaming audio ... can't believe they got rid of android auto for phone screens!
if you want to get real crazy, run a usb charging cord from the console along side the audio cord
thanks
Glad I got rid of my 2011 Murano. “Premium” Bose was just outdated and I hated that you were limited in any kind of audio upgrade
My Nissan Murano 2011 doesn't pic up my phone you tube. How to fix that.
Hi I am doing the same job out in America is there any way you can tell me how it was done
How much for this service ?
Assuming the width and height of that area is standard double DIN size could you also run a single DIN media player and pocket in there? I have a customer here in Japan with a JDM Murano. Great video BTW. Solid solution to an annoying problem.
You could put a single DIN in the original screen location, but it would have to be a shallow single DIN system.
So an AUX port is not equipped?
so with the original head unit did u have to use a extender to route it up there, how did it reach?
The harness will reach up the area we moved the factory screen to.
Beautiful vehicle
+A UA-cam Channel with no name thanks!
@@LockdownSecurity how much was all that
How much for all that work and hardwear

Hello.. i have nissan murano 2003 just wondring if this also work to me or i can able to install any other aftermarket radio? Thank you
The 2003 can use any double DIN radio
I have a question, is it possible to swap a 2009 Nissan radio into a 2007 Nissan Murano. Is it possible including the climate control console?
We do not know, you would need schematics for both vehicles to determine.
Hey did you guys consider using the usa spec bt45nis?
Yes we considered it, but were not 100% on whether it would work on this particular vehicle. In future we would use it though to provide an AUX in, and Bluetooth audio streaming
That's what I went with (BT45-NIS ADAPTER) on my wife's 2009 Nissan Murano. Work's perfectly fine no issues, just plug and play.
So... can you still use the CD player from the car with the installed new screen?
The one in our video, no. But you could make it work by connecting it's outputs (the factory radio) to the new radios aux audio inputs.
What was the charge to do this. An are you guys located in dmv area has well.
Please email sales@lockdownsecurity.ca for pricing information
Can you send a link to the wiring connections, I want to change mine but there isn't anything out there how to connect the wires.
Sorry we do not provide wiring information.
Where are you located? I hace the same Murano and want another radio like this, thanks...

Have the same vehicle. Could you give an estimate on how much this would cost
Labour on this ranges from 3 - 5 hours, we currently charge $100 per hour
@@LockdownSecurity plus cost of the unit? or is it
I have a 2008 Infiniti QX56…..will this set up work for my truck
Not that we are aware of.
👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Does it have to be that specific head unit or can you use another?
Has to be the DMX706S or Kenwood DMX7706S, due to their very shallow depth. You "could" use another radio IF it were shallow enough.
@@LockdownSecurity Thanks
It looks as if you slammed that Kenwood into the dashboard so hard that the other screen just popped out through the top. But whatever the customer wanted, he got it.
Lol it does kind of look like that.
Do you believe this will work in the 2010 Murano SL with Bose and Navigation?
Yes this would work on a 2010 Murano with BOSE and NAV
I have the same one, just purchased it. Didn't know it didn't come with Bluetooth 😞
@@lucyadler6394 me too! SO disappointed when "Bluetooth" printed on the dash doesn't really mean Bluetooth! So stupid for Nissan to do that!!
What will this exact set up for the exact same car cost me for you to do it
Email us at sales@lockdownsecurity.ca for pricing.
I am in Houston Texas how do I get my vehicle to you?
Drive up to Canada, specifically the Toronto Ontario area and you are all set.
what version is the radio on top
Unsure of radio version, it is the OEM Nissan screen that sits up top
Its weired my 09 had bluetooth but it didnt say but it's also a Japanese import that's proberly why it's on my 09 Japanese import it also connects to my bluetooth music and phone but it's all in Japanese and it's also gotta HDD in it
I need the same service
Email sales@lockdownsecurity.ca to arrange this on your Murano.
why keep the 2nd screen
You mut have it for climate control use in this vehicle, otherwise you have no way of knowing if your climate controls are on, or what setting they are set to
Is there any1 who could do this in Calgary ?
You would have to call around to see.
Should of painted that screw black atleast
Agreed, but the vehicle had to leave and that was the last thing installed. The client was okay with it, but in future (if anyone wants this done again) we would source powder coated black screws/hardware
He didn't need to stream, using the jacks on back of the center console you can plug a coax cable into your phone problem solved 10$
Do you have a link? Trying to get my iphone to stream my music on my 2009 murano… cant seem to figure out anything but buying the $87 bovee on amazon
@@dudealbert11 in the back of your arm rest facing the back seat there should be a RGB plug in get one with a headphone jack on the other end and plug into your phone then use the auxiliary setting on your radio problem solved.
This Nissan has been assimilated with the Borg and resistance was futile
How much for all that work
looks like shit i wouldnt want that on my car
Good thing it's not your car 😉
Horrible, I would've been upset... but I also know better and know there is no options for the car... not a fan
To each their own, the client REALLY wanted Apple CarPlay and did not want the OEM screen molded down below, this was the only way to do it in that case. The downside of buying a Murano....
Thank God its NOT your car! 😉
