Did my test a year ago and been a member ever since, I love it!! X
My Dad has black curly hair & olive skin (me to!) but his heritage is 98% British! 😂
Emma, please look at the murder of Claire Ford and her daughter Charlie in Cornwall. It's truly heartbreaking.
My daughter's mother was best friends with her and my daughter used to play with Charlie as a baby. I convinced my ex not to go to their house that night as Claire and her boyfriend had been arguing. Claire's father was a paramedic and was the first on scene, his colleagues held him back from entering the house. I actually saw Claire's boyfriend in his car the morning of the murders whilst I was getting milk for my daughter's breakfast. Obviously had no idea what had taken place 😔
"EMMADNA" - I read Edamame three solid times. My brain refused to comply.
How can your son not have at least 50% if your heritage? X
Good news, recently Nathen was attacked in prison with sugar and boiling water. Becky’s father said it was the best birthday present he could have got.
😮😮😮awesome!! Haven’t heard the story yet but thx for that update!!
Shauna was also attacked so badly she had to be resuscitated. Unfortunately she has recently been released from prison
It wasn't water and sugar. It was hot melted butter.
@@ASMR-Arboretumouch lol
No matter how often I hear of this case I have such a deep sadness for Becky and her family. To think this happened within her own home is both terrifying and shocking. I think neither Matthews nor Shauna should ever be released. As Em said, those kind of predelictions don't go away. 😢
Aged 14 i met a man aged 24, left home had 2 children by him by age 19.
Sufferd physical and mental abuse.
Finally came to my sences 10 years later.
Ended up getting injunction orders against him. Police move and panic alarms in my house.
Got full custody of my boys.
Looking back i was a kid, wish someone would of stepped in and stopped the relationship.
Who would have won, at that time, if it caused problems with your parents?
Your "boyfriend" or your parents?
No disrspect meant, i just know how i was as a teen
so glad you’re safe 🤎
Sounds like you’re trying to say she isn’t to blame because of her age . She was as bad as he was
Well, that was a dumb move.
Emma, your dad sounds like a beautiful soul. I'm so sorry you and your brother lost him, but i am so grateful you had him to raise you into the wonderful people you are.
As a northern lass from Leeds, I can confirm that Emma is absolutely right, we do indeed stand at the bottom of the stairs and tell our loved ones that tea's ready/someone's at the door/or on the phone.
Haha 😂, I'm also from Leeds and I shout upstairs like my parents did to us 😊
It’s a northern/ midlands thing 😊
Liverpool here. It’s all true 😂
Way up North here, Sunderland, then Durham. I shout up the stairs also! Topper 😊
Barnsley here and yep same
Being from the US, 33 & 17 years feel like a slap in the face to that poor girl. It might be because I'm used to seeing life sentence w/o parole handed out for much less.
The English justice system is a joke. plenty of people get off horrendous crimes with hardly any time or no time at all.
& those who commit the worst crimes have their identities changed and protected upon release, it’s completely pathetic compared to the US
In Germany they would have got even less 🤮
Also to note Shauna and Nathan actually had a child around this time. So it’s creepy to think the child was in the house when the murder was taking place.
Think she was pregnant when she was sent downb
Not sure I have sympathy for his mother. Why was she encouraging him. She shouldn't have been in her stepdaughter room.
I noticed that from when they showed the inside of the house, there were stair gates and children's toys in there. So they had children living in that squalor and nobody thought to alert social services!
She was pregnant with twins as well
❤ Rip Becky ❤
Horrific case & DISGUSTING that Shauna Hoare has been released already, age 29 with her whole life ahead of her. Hope street justice get's the b!tch
She's shouldn't be released she's an accomplice our soft justice system fail the victims and their families and our taxpayers money is being spent on keeping these lowlifes behind bars and beckys life was in danger and somebody should of protected her
I didn't know that
I think that they all should have reported Becky’s concerns
It’s better to have made too many referrals then to have made none at all
Becky was horrifically failed by the services involved
Shauna should have been sentenced to the same 33 years Nathan earned!! The fact she's walking free pisses me off!🤬 Great video, as usual Emma! You're the best story teller on UA-cam! 🎉🎉🎉
I’ve read Becky’s dads book, from that perspective Nathan definitely didn’t have goals and ambition moving forward, nor was his gfs care for his mother up to par, i noticed it’s free on Spotify if anyone is interested in listening.
Thanks for the heads up! I will absolutely check it out!
Considering the horrific circumstances it’s a strong strong marriage to have not been smashed to bits with guilt and blame
Hello Em, Dusted and all of Emma Kenny’s crime cult tribe/fans! I would just like to say a massive thank you to Jan H & Helen T who have helped when I was extremely low and are still helping. It is greatly appreciated more than you’ll ever know. You’ve helped to keep me going xx And thank you to Em (the one and only, truly the best… ) as always xx From Morgan 🐧🐱
Emma Is a fabulous orator! I always feel that when she's talking, she's on the edge of her anger or her sadness! The emotion flows through the screen because her sadness is real! Her anger is real!
My view is that Emma Kenny is the greatest crime analyst in the world!
How the heck is she out?! I can’t even imagine! That’s a travesty of justice!
So sick of the Justice systems of The World giving 'Human Rights' to Offenders whilst The Victims And Their families Get F All!! .....Its absolutely Disgusting She is out already ...... ♥️🕯♥️ for Becky
i’ve hear this case before but i had no idea how much he terrorized and bullied her. it’s so hard for me not to side eye her father at least a little bit because any time there’s male and female children together in a home i believe you must be hyper vigilant. esp when she said he touched her when she was 8?! they would have never been alone again and i would have asked her about him constantly
100%
He was vile towards her because in his mind she was taking his mum away from him and that poor girl didn't do anything wrong her life was in danger and people failed to protect her if she was my daughter i do anything for her and I wouldn't let anyone hurt her cause they would pay
He should have been put in a foster home. I was put in a foster home, and I didn’t do shit.
I read the book and wow I had to put it down several times, its written from her dad's perspective (by her dad) and there were parts that I just started to cry its such a sad story and I hope he and his girlfriend rot
She didn’t tell her father that though. She had only told her best friend. Her dad didn’t know
I’ve been diagnosed with fibromyalgia since 1990, it has gotten worse over the years, I’m 73 now and retired 2012 after 30 years as a registered nurse. Last 5 years of work was torture
Sending u love and support. I was an RN for 25 years and had to retire at 44 due to chronic pain and I thoroughly agree with ur comment that the last few years were hell for me too. Have a merry Christmas and blessed and happy new yr love from Australia x
A fellow chronic pain sufferer here, too. Hoping Santa brings you all pain free days for Christmas! 🎅
I also have fibromyalgia. Wishing you a Merry Christmas and Happy New pain free Year. God bless you
@@allysonoconnell1457 Im a newly qualified rn and I’ve also just been diagnosed with fibromyalgia this year. I’m worried about how it will affect my career
What’s that got to do with this case?
What truly makes me angry about this case besides the thrill kill is the desecration of a body; I'm not a psychologist but I feel petty jealousy was a major factor.
You can see she is a finer person. The other two are trash. I agree. Envy of her being a better person.
The stepbrothers girlfriend is homely and weird. She was jealous that Becky was a beautiful girl.
My Daughter is fixing to turn 17 and she loves to lock herself in her room. I'm only 34, had her young I know, so I remember doing the same thing and why I did it. So instead of forcing her to come out and be with the adults and be miserable, I will make us snacks and go lock myself in her room with her. We listen to music, watch TV, take a nap, whatever it is my girl needs to feel better. It works so well. She opens up and tells me anything and everything she's feeling and thinking. Instead of removing her from her "safeplace" I let her, but I met her halfway.
She is so smart and strong, but mom coming in and being with her in HER place makes her feel more understood. She has said it makes her feel even safer in herself and her own space. It has done wonders for helping her open up and talk instead of just hiding herself and feelings.
So mommas, if you have a moody teen who refuses to spend the time out of their room with you..... go bug the life outta them. They will complain at first, but I promise they will absolutely love the time spent with them and you'll love being the one that's annoying them for a change.
I love all you beautiful people. Now go be a menace to those kids!! 🤣🖤🖤
Thank you for your openness… I’m silent most often but I wanted to tell you, Emma, that you are a real role model to me in many ways but especially because you are so open about your own way of life. I hope to be as authentic as you one day.
“Systemic failures. Mistakes were made. Lessons will be learnt.” 😡 These words are the summary of every, very expensive investigation, from the British government into the horrendous torturous death of a child! 😡 NOTHING CHANGES!
Unfortunately it’s not just the British government doing this. It’s most developed countries such as the United States
And Canada, even though it wasn't a child, my family friend was killed by her estranged, abusive husband. She had 3 restraining orders against him, from different localities. She called us about a month before, saying if he found her he would kill her, and she couldn't go to a shelter because of one of her child's very high medical needs. Thankfully he killed himself afterwards. There was a huge inquest, partly because he used an illegal gun, and because of the system failures. There were over 200 recommendations, and I think 2 have been implemented in the 20 years since the inquest and almost 24 since her death
I found my birth parents through ancestry. My mom and dad adopted me and my brother when we were babies through catholic charities. They always supported us by looking for our birth parents. And at the age of fifty five or fifty seven I found my father and then I found my mother. I considered my adopted parents. The ones that saved my life and my birth parents. They gave me life and now it's 62. My life is come full circle and now I am 1 of 11 combining all my steps, sisters and brothers. And my adopted family brothers and sisters.
Emma, Would love your take on child torture murderer Shanda Vanderark. Especially with your safeguarding history. Absolutely horrible case! She's definitely the most hated woman in America right now.
“If you look at someone long enough you will spot their humanity.” ❤
Anyone else think that someone who can be so evil to kids should automatically have a vasectomy or hysterectomy?
That woman should still be in prison. This is not justice.
Hey all, I’m currently in A&E but just wanted to let Emma know that I live right by the other house they searched, I was on the search for her and I know a family member, thank you for covering this one ❤
Hoping ur ok x
Hope your OK lovely. X
Hope you’re okay xx
I've just found out that my parents lost the rights to me at the age of 5...I was made a ward of court till was 18. I suffer from PTSD, BPD, Cronic Depression anxiety. I'm 47 years old and heart broken.
❤️❤️
Awe hun I am Really sorry❤life is not easy but I'm betting you make it beautiful for every single person you come into contact with. You are way stronger and braver than you realise. Sending gentle hugs.🤗
Emma your deep dive was top notch, as usual x
I can't believe she's out!! How dare they let her out so soon.
Aww wow how lovely to be introduced to your son and his girlfriend!! X
My mum suffers from fibromyalgia it's horrible seeing her in constant pain 😞
Be interesting to see your take on this case Emma. I think his accomplice in this crime got of lightly and was more involved than what she was convicted for.
Been keen to hear your take on this case for a long time, Emma. I remember Becky's case being all over the news and remember thinking that it would be a case that would be unforgettable. RIP Becky ❤️
This was local to me heartbreaking case , I can’t believe she’s out now it’s disgusting she gets a new identity when poor Becky doesn’t even get to live her life . Thank you for covering this emm your my favourite channel xxx
A new identity!? Disgusting laws.
A new identity. What. New identities are for victims. Not perps. Its bizarre. Why are murderers and torturers helped.
I bet she verbally encouraged him by demeaning a girl who was better than her. Minefield.
She doesn’t have a new identity
I've had a chronic pain conditon as the result of nerve damage from a spinal tumor, since I was a teenager, so I DO feel a little for Nathan having fibromyalgia. It's hard to be a kid and suddenly not be able to do all the things you used to do. That said however, neither his suffering, nor the way he grew up, are excuses for his (& his girlfriend's) heinous crime against his step sister.
I had a lot of pain in life due to an autoimmune disorder. You get used to pain. It made me kinder to animals and people who are vulnerable. I'm intolerant of abusers of humans and animals. Mostly they are irredeemable they just learn to hide it. Shana s eyemovements separate from her facial features in the interview. She should stay inside for life.
@user-ym3xf6xp4c People CAN get used to a lot of things, but unfortunately, pain is one of those things people like us HAVE to get used to, or else be miserable. Of course, we can get used to pain and STILL be miserable, but I don't want to hate life all the time. If I don't laugh, I'll cry, so I choose to laugh. Wishing you a pain free 2024, friend. 😊
Emma, you covered so many interesting topics in this. I just want to tell you how much I appreciate watching these videos with a twist of input from your professional experience. You are amazing ❤❤
This case has always stayed in my mind , really looking forward to your input on it ! Love your videos
I’ve been wanting you to cover this one for ages Emma!
Hi Emma. Just watched the trial of shanda vandar ark. Would there be any chance of you covering this case. Your amazing in putting things together in each case you do. Just would love to hear your thoughts and opinions about this. Thank you.
Just watched it as well would love a deep dive on this case
OMG, i was actually just watching this on court tv yday...it made me cry so much. RIP Timothy. And the vomiting , when she( the so called mother) was shown photos of the torture she inflicted on that poor boy( maybe not directly but she was behind it all, she was the primary caregiver) . If he went into care, he would have been alive today. I really hope her other son Paul gets help too because he is a victim, too, regardless of his participation in the crime. An incredibly sad situation all round😢
I just watched it as well ! A sick psycho .. I’m not a body language expert but even I knew she was lying! The vomiting episode in the courtroom was the fakest thing ever .. what a horrible person who doesn’t deserve to be called a mother 😮
This is one of my 'special' cases that really hit me and stayed with me, I think because I relate to Becky and the struggles she had as a teenager. I still think about her often. She deserved so much better. Thank you for covering her case xx
Becky was robbed! Anyone who could do what Nathan and Shauna did to innocent Becky should have been sentenced to life without parole! For all we know Shauna may kill again! RIP Becky🌹.😢
This case always brings me to tears she was the same age as me and if she was my daughter I do anything to protect her its just sad I couldn't watch the documentary its too upsetting
Such a sad story.
Thank you, I've been listening from the beginning and your insights helped me to realise that I needed to escape a toxic relationship. Keep it up Emma and congratulations for your beautiful baby.
Thank you for covering this one Emma! I've seen several videos on it and yours is by far the most information and explicative of the offenders' personalities.
❤❤❤
Awe you're family are lovely Emma, hope you all have a wonderful Xmas!
She was far more culpable, he displayed a disheveled look etc she was functioning just fine afterwards. She could comfortably talk about the day, albeit lie about it, but he couldn’t. She should never have been released. Evil personified! Rest peacefully Becky💛
Thank You for covering this tragic and crazy case 💔
this is the first true crime case i’ve heard of that’s both fascinated me, and terrified me
Thank you Emma!
After watching a great deal of true crime, I have come to the conclusion that most murderers, apart from being incredibly evil, are also incredibly stupid.
Thank you. Merry Christmas 😊
Hello from Sweden 🥰 I have to concentrate on what you talk Emma so I don’t write during the live!
Thank you for all great digging you do 🥰🙏🏼
Emma keeps me sane and I've learnt alot from her
What an upsetting case that you’ve told with such care and sensitivity as always. Would you consider doing the Doug Garland murder of Alvin and Kathy Liknes and their 5 yo grandson? No one has ever covered it and it actually stopped me from sleeping when I read about it whilst in Canada
Hi Emma!Thank you for sharing Becky's story. I look forward to listening to you twice a week. Also, your father is beautiful soul. Thank you for sharing what he told you many years ago.
Loved seeing your gorgeous son, and his lovely girlfriend! The story of this poor girl was portrayed as usual with insight and compassion.
It's such a heartbreaking and disturbing case you always amaze me emma
I love how you engage all your family in videos. They are so lovely people, Emma 👪💕
Another amazingly in-depth video! You have me on the edge of my seat from start to finish. You genuinely are a genius Emma! Thank you ❤❤. Rest in peace beautiful angel 💔
Thank you Emma xx
Thank you Emma Kenny for sharing Beckys story. I very much enjoy your videos and insight on mental health, childhood trauma and more as you understand peoples pain and struggles. You know your stuff ! I would love to have therapy with you and anyone who had your advice and help are very lucky humans. I suffer daily with mental health and you have helped me understand myself . xxxx
Great case Emma, as usual 🤗❤️
Hi Emma, love your content! How about a 'Boss it' Tshirt if you don't already have one?
What a beautiful family 💘 you have! Love how they are involved at the beginning of the vid
I’m glad that you recognized fibromyalgia, I’ve had it for years. I’ve been scrutinized for a long time. Especially before they finally diagnosed me. It’s very painful and it wears you down mentally snd physically.
I cannot wait to see ur deep dive on this. My home town and people I know knew some of the involved where her body was hidden. I know your going to do the best presentation on this case and the minds of this sick pair of non humans ❤ #beckywatts x
I Remember this case Hi Emma Glad your covering this one
I've never heard of this story. I appreciate all the diligence and investigation you do. I'm glad you talk for the victims. This is such a tragedy and never should have happened. I also get a little amused when you talk back and forth. It reminds me of a puppet show, but also tragic. ❤ your story telling.
I am familiar with the cases ft on your channel but you always have details that turn up in no one else’s research. Excellence every time
I have spent hours upon hours watching podcasts, true crime channels and documentaries on beckys case ❤ 😢 I'll be fascinated to see what Emma's take on it is .
Remember this on the news. Thank you for your insight ❤
One from my part of the world this one. Happened so close by. Same town. It was such a “small world” feeling when it happened. Horrible case :(
I’d be really interested on you covering another one from Bristol - Joanna Yates. I always think of her at this time of year.
Happy Christmas to you and your family I love you your content it’s fantastic this’s is my bedroom stories passed it on to my friends we all remember you from TV but this is completely different. Thank you so much.
HI EMMA I JUST WANT TO WISH YOU A HAPPY CHRISTMAS AND KEEP DOING WHAT YOU DO BEST WITH THE AMAZING VIDEOS
I want to know if the parents split after this or not.
No they’re still together
This is why I just can’t argue against the death penalty, at least in some cases.
This was really near to me can’t wait to hear Emma’s take x
I’ve been so curious to see your POC in this
I just started reading the book written by her Dad two days ago. Can't wait to see this video, but I may have to wait until I finish the book. I'm torn because I look forward to each new video 🤷♀️
What a completely deplorable sentence for the gf. It's disgusting.
Hello Miss Emma ❤ from Lafayette, Indiana USA. I pray you and your family are having a Wonderful Holiday Season ❄️🎄☃️❄️
I Remember watching this case with my mum I felt so angry not just with them but with people who don't think they bad She deserved so much better this mad me very sad too
Amazing video as always, Emma 🖤 Would you ever cover the case of Anita Cobby (if you haven't already - my memory is crap 🙈) It's utterly horrific and I think only you could do it justice xx
Looking forward to this (if that’s right words) always questions an not answers with this case…thanks Emma
Thank you Emma and happy Christmas to you and your family. First Christmas for Etta blue 💙 love her name precious little girl. everytime I see her name mentioned the song 'at last' by Etta James jumps in my head. 😊
Loving thoughts and peaceful wishes to the family and friends of Becky ❤
I do remember this case,I just watched part of his police interview, be interesting to hear emm speak on it.
Hi Emma, how many times has multi agencies have failed? I'm from Bradford and it's still fresh about the little Star Hobson was failed by social services many times. Do you think criminal actions should follow to the agencies or individuals who missed countless opportunities to act? Happens too many times.
Thank u beautiful Emma 💜
Your dad was a smart man, that's so right, something is special in everyone
Not heard the whole thing as yet but I disagreed at the part where you excuse the mum for giving him up and taking on another child. Ok he may have had good care givers but imagine the feeling of abandonment that kid felt. Its not an excuse for his later behaviour but lets not let his heartless mother off too much!
Thanks em stay safe everyone
Emma your just a lovely woman and you tell these stories with love and hononaring the victims sending you lots and lots of love hug and prayers love you
Becky was bullied in school bullied at home there is no wonder she ended up with an illness of anorexia , Nathan was extra spiteful sick in the head and a complete not right , shona is also just ask sick and was way more involved than that they could charge with she should have never ever been set free her house was a crap whole except the bathroom , we looked for her we searched everywhere and then they found her 😢😢😢so so sad what he did was beyond evil and dragging other people who were unaware into his depraved dumping, having to attend court for my best friends family was heart breaking she should have had more help and been heard she was so so failed rip becky x x
I've read this book on becky Watts I connect with her I don't know why but this chills me everytime , so much love to her father and step mum , a crime so heinous its unthinkable , jealousy at its max , beautiful gentle sweet innocent gal u r thought of and remembered x
I might get hate here, but the dad should of backed her when she said about the step brother age 8, my school gf (years 8-11) was touched by her step dad, when she finally told her mum the mum didn't beleive her, that step dad went on too touch her neice not long ago. (parents should always have their kids espeshially 8yo backs)
Full irish EM🎉🎉All the way from Ireland 🇮🇪 🇮🇪 🇮🇪 🇮🇪 happy Christmas to you and your family 🎄 thank you for the year ❤❤❤love it
the justice system failed to give them both the true life sentence they should have gotten! prayers to the family!
Usually I have a pretty strong stomach but this story... I can't put into words how badly it effected me😢😢😢
I was flabbergasted when I found out that shaunna hoare has been released
I started dating my exhusband when I was 15 and my ex was 24. We married when I was just 18 and 7 months pregnant. My older sister said I would outgrow him but I didn't believe her but by the time I was 25, I had outgrown him. He began abusing me but I stayed because I didn't want to mess up my kids and it didn't take place in front of them. We had 2 girls together and when my eldest started showing signs of s3xual abuse I had enough and left him. I was homeless and so I sent my girls to stay with my sister 600 miles away where I thot they would be safe. But he managed to convince my mum that I was a drug abuser and she backed him for custody. It took 2 years for me to get them away from him but they went to live with my mum and dad where they were safe. Really painful and still is but I have a good relationship with them now. We are damaged from the abuse but they both have solid marriages and I have 2 grandsons. I missed out on a lot of their growing up but we are close now. Please, if you are underage and an adult wants to be with you, don't go there. You will outgrow them and chances are they have a sick attraction to kids.
R.I.P. Becky 😔😢😔
