So do I! Unless my kitty lets me hold him! Lol My pup’s been getting extra love, too. They are calming. I ordered 25 pounds of flour from Amazon as they are out locally.and on King Arthur and Bob’s Red Mill. We will be doing more sourdough. The smell of fresh bread is relaxing! And tapioca pudding! I lucked into almost expired milk. It’s in the freezer. But at night before bed, Dominique and warm turmeric milk are what I reach for! Lol

Sweet one.... glad you’re only taking off micro amounts. Your hair is “texturized” that’s why it’s “uneven”. He puts those textured pieces in on purpose. And that’s a good thing! Bc when he’s point cutting or slicing into the hair instead of cutting straight across, that’s what gives you a lot of whispies and movement. Ask him, he’ll tell you that. 🙂 I’ve been a hair stylist over 25 years and I was cringing when you were cutting! Lol!!! You really didn’t cut much off at all! So that was good! But...if you have to end up trimming it yourself again, just point cut instead of straight across. You have great hair!!! I’m sure your stylist tells you that too! 🙂 ❤️

I can't thank you enough as your have changed my life. I am 57 and struggling with my new look of overweight, facial and hair texture changes. Gosh growing older was becoming overwhelming there for a patch. Then I started watching your channel, and have been hooked ever since. I watch your sessions over and over, until I have it down pat. Now my skin, make up and hair looks fantastic. I feel younger and more alive than ever with my new look. Today...was my first day ever in my life to cut it myself. Thanks to your session here, you gave me hope. Thank you sooooo much Doninique. You are a wonderfully kind and caring soul, with so much knowledge to share. Xxx

I'm beginning to appreciate my new lifestyle~easy going, not-so-perfect, & simple. Retiring to a small beach town after living in a fast pace, keep-up-with-the-Jones' type city, w a fast paced job, this time period is pushing me to accept what I actually need, not so much what I want. And when I do feel I want something, it's more of a treat; not forgotten or taken for granted. So my nails aren't perfectly done every 2-3 wks, so some gray hair shows through, so I wear less make up. But I have a roof over my head, food to eat or the ability to purchase to-go meals to help restaurants stay afloat. I have a loving marriage & my pups are healthy. I have the technology to speak w my good friends & family, although I really miss face-to-face human contact. Ty Dominique

Exactly my thoughts too. Being content with less. I am blessed because I have great job that is paying me while I'm at home & my adult kids are healthy. Seems like nails, makeup & other things I thought i needed aren't quite as important as they one were. But, my daughter is an aesthetician, so I hope all goes back to "normal' soon as she is laid-off.

Last week my fabulous 35 year old Traulsen commercial refrigerator died, packed full of food, of course! It had been rebuilt through the years: retrofitted for the new Freon (15 yrs ago or so;) on it’s 3rd compressor; no original interior parts. It has 4 doors that are black glass and with the interior light on it’s a beauty! I loved that piece! It held 48 cu. ft of food! When I was married we entertained a LOT! Dinner parties for 6-8 1-2 a month. Large parties for 50 twice a year and a party for 150 once a year. I did all the cooking. Plus the kids and Youth Group, Girl Scouts, etc. (Probably why I’m so exhausted now! I’m 74.) so, when ai saw 60 degrees... I just LAUGHED! In the middle of a plague, no money (I’d just had to buy new washer/dryer.) HAD to have fridge and my lungs are compromised! It was either laugh or cry. I’d been crying for the world...figured the fridge was worth only a laugh. To replace that fridge would cost $8,000! Lolol I didn’t! Bout a 23 cu ft one, one door, no glass. We’ll get used to it! It’s just a fridge! And people are STILL dying.... yes, we are DEFINITELY learning what is REALLY important. My 17 year old granddaughter gave me a blunt haircut and it’s wonderful! I couldn’t be happier. I’m going to cut curtain bangs. And then I’ll light a candle for all whom we have lost.... 😢🌈😢

I never thought to transition to a shag. I'm going for it! You've also helped with my bangs. I've been stressing about themand I've avoided cutting them due to bad self- cutting experiences in the past. Now they need more than just a trim since they're so long. Easy to apply and look fabulous. Cost $8.99. I know there are more important things in the world today but taking a little time for yourself can help keep you feeling normal and sane during this confinement period. Survivor OfMany praise God that you survived. Two years ago I spent a long time away from my family to take care of my sister who had breast cancer. She is also a survivor. She was always a girly girl and I was the tomboy. We are super close even though we are so opposite. Since she’s fully recovered, she is back to her girly girl self with the hair and makeup. I enjoy doing it from time to time, but it’s really just not who I am. However, I enjoy watching hair and makeup videos. I’m a big believer in people doing what is best for them and what makes them happy and fulfilled and feeling their best. I’m so happy that you not only conquered cancer but that you found the place that makes you happiest. ❤️

Working in the health care. I would take this opportunity to encourage everyone to wear their hair away from your face. The more you touch your face the more opportunities for spreading germs. I've been using creative head bands. Maybe some creative ideas for that? Thank you

I started doing this a few years ago myself, after entering a period of either buying food, or getting a haircut. I was a little apprehensive at first, however if you watch Dominique, she displays how easy it its to do, and very well.
I have a short bob cut, twice a year, and in between by cutting the dry broken ends off, it does give your hair a healthy appearance. I use a fabulous conditioning hair mask by, Fanola, its called Nutri care mask, and it comes in a huge pot. It comes in a huge pot, it conditions like the expensive ones, but at a fraction of the price.
Thank you for the lovely video, and stay safe, Dominique, and everybody else out there too, in this harrowing time. x

However, I decided to order the CHI Spin and Curl off Amazon, about an hour ago! I read reviews of people with my hair texture and they were impressed with how it worked. I’ll see!

You are so lovely. We can not lose our sense of humor during these times. I have (had) shoulder length, slightly layered hair that has grown wayyyy too long. I'm doing the root touchups but honestly, we're not going anywhere so I'm even putting those off and wearing my hair in a braid or loose bun. I don't think I'll recognize myself with makeup; no need because of wearing a mask outside.
There's a lot of fear and sadness going on and as someone who is prone to anxiety attacks, I have to see the light at the end of the tunnel and watching Dominique and other content creators is a very welcome distraction. Thank you so much. Be safe and healthy everyone.

Grateful to have long hair, no bangs, and don’t color despite quite a bit of gray - pretty much business as usual since I usually go 6-8 months between cuts. Also I pluck my own brows, don’t get pedicures or manicures, don’t get waxed or facials. Had no idea that I was so low maintenance until this. 😂

Dominique Sachse Lol not really! Just don’t have the money to spend on those things. My hair grows fast so the upkeep on a shorter cut with color would be outrageous. And well the other stuff, I just don’t see the point. So I don’t look as beautiful and manicured as you or the other women who do these things, but it’s paying off now. 😂 however I am getting way too used to wearing no makeup, putting my hair in a bun, and wearing yoga pants every day, so it will be a bit of a shock going back to the office. 😫

Thank you so much. I am in the UK and we are in another lockdown with hairdressers not opening for another 6-8 weeks, having been closed since end December, so it will be a total of almost 4 months. I am 60, don’t colour my hair anymore and usually have a pixie cut. My hair was awful until I discovered your video. The mistake I have been making is to try and keep it sleek. After giving it a trim as you suggested and embracing the shaggy cut by blow drying it away from my face, I am delighted as it looks so much better. I don’t have your beautiful hair, however mine is a 100% improvement. So glad I found you. Teresa

I figured I've watched my hairdresser trim my bangs for 36 years so I can do a decent job. I went ahead and trimmed them and it took me 20 mins. to do what she does in 3 mins. LOL I sent her a pic and she gave me a thumbs up. Now, the hair color is another story, and I've been watching videos about letting my gray grow in and see what it looks like. Anybody else doing this ?

QueensGirl65. I grew out grey roots four years ago. Sharon Danley's Two Minute Tips is good. I suffered for about four months with grey roots, then had a pixie cut. I look better in short hair. My hairdresser also showed me how to trim bangs because she cut back her schedule, and I was doing it already!
