It is going viral, considering I never watch haircut videos. I got recommended this, and I'm not complaining. I never cut my hair, but during COVID, my mom used to cut my hair, and I used to cut hers. After we learned how to cut our hair, we generally don't go to a salon now, until it's a really big function(like someone's wedding). Now I'm out of the city for studies, so I now don't go for haircut, until it's like a new year. Maybe next time I'm home, I can ask my mom to cut my hair like this. She really loves layers and waves, so this is a really good one.

This is the first time I followed one of the videos step by step to a T and without a doubt it is the ABSOLUTE BEST haircut I've EVER GIVEN MYSELF!
    I'm in love!
I cut it wet, combed everything, and rewatched each step meticulously so - don't take any shortcuts!
The layers are stunning! I still have my length! I could not be happier 🙂

They cut off probably four or 5 inches off of my hair and at the time I was already really insecure and my hair with the only thing I felt I had left, and I have not had my haircut professionally since. I have done every haircut that you have done on this channel and every single time I think to myself this is the best haircut I’ve ever received. this one included. I am just so grateful for these. Thanks for this one, Brad. I've done the unicorn type cut for years and it's never failed me. I tried a butterfly last year and switched back to the unicorn again because it just works better for me. It's never occurred to me to cut my hair upwards instead of straight across, I'm sad to say, and I just hacked off an inch or so perpendicular. my layers and shape look great. I wasn't trying to get this particular look with the curtain bangs, but i loved the front of this with the second cut. It really helped me with the shape of the grown out butterfly and I can't wait to style it tomorrow. It was the balance I think I needed. And I didn't point cut it! 😂 I had done a trim about a month ago and something just felt "off". This fixed it. Thanks again.

Thank you so much for this tutorial, I tried it and it works!!! 🥳 My wavy hair has some very old outgrown layers, lately I've been cutting it in a U shape by myself. I was planning to cut my hair in long layers for a long time and searched all over the youtube for a tutorial. Other tutorials where either just unicorn or showing some complicated professional techniques. What I liked about this one is that it's using not only the unicorn, but also the ponytail method and a piece of longest hair as a guide! I tried this yesterday. First I straightened my hair with a hot air brush. As you have to hold the ponytail tense and at an angle, I asked my husband to help me, cause my hair is long and it is difficult to reach that far by myself. It was really easy for him! I did cut maybe 3-4 cm less than I should according to the hair guide in the front pony cause I didn't want the layers to be too extreme. The result was great, the layers are visible and even, I only connected them a little bit in the front to make them less choppy. The only downside was that my bottom hair that remained original length now looked a little stringy compared with fullness of layers sitting on top of it. Though it's completely optional, I easily fixed it by taking some weight off the bottom of chunkiest layers in the back with thinning shears and cutting the length a bit in a U shape as I always do (the beard method 😁). So I lost about 4-5 cm of length, but now the haircut looks complete and amazing! My advice is to cut the length in the very end so you can even out the overall shape if needed. If you're not sure which hair will be cut, you can always wet the tip you're about to cut, let the hair out and see which places are wet and that would be gone by cutting and decide whether it suits you.

If you were to do it in a wig or have a model do it with your direction- it would help explain how to hold the shears/hair and what angle to cut while working on oneself. I would do this but I’m nervous tha I’ll cut the wrong way doing it in a mirror… if that makes sense.

Me not having idea who Sabrina Carpenter is or what the haircut is, still sitting down and watching only to see a diy version of the haircut i have right now. I have been wondering how to get long layers by myself for years never finding a simple tutorial on it. I guess i now know how to keep this haircut lol. Thank you Brad!

first of all, love sabrina, but second of all, i just tried xmondo for the first time and holy shit i'm buying like 10 more tubs. my hair is dyed a level 6 auburn red, but it's faded since i havent re-dyed the ends in a while and it leans a little more burgundy, which i dont really like. i usually go in with nirvel nutre color in orange, but its 24 dollars on amazon for a small tube and honestly i cant spend all that. xmondo color in orange was there for 8 dollars so i was like omg and i got it. AMAZING. did exactly what i wanted, showed up vibrant and pretty and added more orange to my hair, but i wasnt expecting how SOFT my hair was. i literally thought i hadnt washed my hair correctly. after like 3 washes i realized that the product just made it super soft. i have really tangled hair and usually have to use some kind of detangler to even get a brush to slightly pass through it, but i didnt have to use ANYTHING this time and my brush literally glided through my hair. i literally was so impressed that i came straight over here to write this LMFAOOO. anyways. ur not playing whne it comes to ur brand clearly because holy shit this is my new go to.

Well, Brad managed to convince me to buy a Laifen hairdryer... and it's a lot faster than my old one, and my hair looks nicer! It still takes me about 15 minutes to completely dry my jaw length hair on full speed, but my old dryer took more than twice as long and made my hair look weird. I'm happy, thank you Brad for the recommendation and the fun and educational videos

Sabrina will have fringes too. You could have done that as well 😊.
My hair is super Wavy, it is till my lower waist though. If i straighten my hair and try this, once all the stylings have gone, it'll spring up. Could you show your mannequin with this Same cut with a longer curly or wavy hair?
