- I got another interview for Maintenance Plumber. I got the impression that I may be overqualified for the job. Meanwhile, I need to make some money fast! What do I do?

I know a few people in your line of work ! One guy works at a collage & other at large hotel resort !
Rudy, your in a great position cause you have a lot of experience. I see bigger things for you than working for someone else. I would make a 1 page handyman flyer and spend 1 hour a day dropping them off at houses. I used to cold call in sales and the conversion rate was a little under 10%. Once you get a customer it will start to snowball as you continue to pass out flyers. You can still hold interviews simultaneously and move in the direction that's more fruitful for you. Excellent idea. I've literally done this exact thing, Porky. It works, but it takes daily effort to get out and 'advertise' like you said, flyers are great and yes, they do work.

@@rudedogii Well the way they see it is, hire someone with minimal experience which will reduce the chance’s of employee turnover and at the same-time justifies lower wage compensation. Hit up Edison I think they are hiring field tech’s on the job training.

Thanks Steve, I don't believe how hard it's been to find a job. I have years of experience installing pipes from the ground up to the toilets everybody sits on but I cant get a simple plumbing maintenance job!
