    I love the humor used in teaching lol.
    Interesting to offer your mala as a gift to the gods. I'll make a second set so that I can offer one for one day, and receive them
    again on the next. A wonderful exchange between spirit!

    I love buying malas wherever I go. They make nice gifts. This video gives much knowledge on malas which is not easy to find except from qualified high practitioners. Mala functions as a counter to help in concentration on our practice. However, malas can become holy objects when highly attained practitioners energize them due to their altruistic qualities.Thank you for this explanation and clear up the mysticisms on mala and bomoh practice.

    There's definitely a noticeable difference when doing mantras with malas than without. While doing mantras there's this sort of buildup of energy - which remains constant as you go along. Guess that's the focus aspect rinpoche is talking about.

    I love my Malas. I have a few of them which I put in different places so that it is easy for me to grab one whenever I want to chant. I have many different ones which I can choose based on my 'mood'. LOL
    This is a wonderful and easy to understand teaching as ALWAYS. Thank you Rinpoche!

      Mary, you are right. And remember that if without recitations of mantras to empower the mala, it is just a string of beads :)

    I made, modified, donated & made a gift of countless malas a long time ago. my practice has faltered severely. I can only hope that there is some good karma from all those malas will have a good effect.

      Hello Marek, thanks for letting us know about your situation. Would you mind to tell why do you think your practice has faltered severely ? Was there any incident which you can share with us ? I will be much appreciated to listen more about you. Thank you very much.

      Marek Cieslik my guess is you were too focussed and attached to crafting malas, instead of doing Dharma practice

    I do not use crystals mala too, same, they r very very heavy. I use bodhi seeds. Or sandalwood. Any wooden mala, that is light weight. 😊. I love my bodhi seed mala.❤

    Can someone tell me what's the mantra that's recited ?

    • @tsemrinpoche
      @tsemrinpoche  4 роки тому +2

      Hi Soul of Ocean Recommends,
      The mantras Rinpoche recited in this video are:
      (1) OM MANI PADME HUNG - the mantra of Chenrezig, the Buddha of Compassion. You can get more information about this mantra here: www.tsemrinpoche.com/?p=42458
      (2) NAMO AMITUOFO - meaning "Namo Amitabha Buddha” (or "Homage to the Buddha Amitabha). You can get more information about Amitabha here: www.tsemrinpoche.com/?p=82785
      Thank you
