  • Enjoy my Second Lap EVER on the Nürburgring Nordschleife. All filmed in 2.7K 60fps SUPERVIEW on a Chestmount. (GoPro Hero 7 Black)
    First Lap Video: • My First Lap on the Nü...
    Off Track moment: I went off track because I was too focused on the car behind me. Right before the corner I looked into my mirrors and saw him right behind me. When I looked back at the circuit I knew pretty much instantly that I wasn't going to make the whole corner. As you can see I set myself up to go straight over the curb, and that's pretty much it.. I did not have a 'sh*t that was close' moment, so right after that I went back to riding as I was doing!
    Thanks for watching and for the insane support on my first Nürburgring video!!

    • @nunyabusiness896

      I hate to be the bearer of bad news here, but it's actually due to bad body position, not MotoGP levels of cornering speed. His torso isn't moving into the corner like it should and therefore he's leaning the bike instead of his body, which reduces the amount of cornering potential and is why he's scraping pegs at speeds probably only 1/2-2/3 of what he could do with proper body position. This is why the whole "chicken strips" meme is bad because in most cases it's just a matter of bad body position and it actually stunts development of track skills and places artificially low cornering limits.
      OP, if you read this, consider getting an instructor on a track day or at least check out channels like Yamaha Champions School or Mike on Bikes and do some studying on body position and have a friend ride behind you and film so you can compare your position to the ideal.

    Your body position is really bad dude, you need to get your body much more out of the bike to reduce lean angle, if you keep touching the pegs you will loose the front tire on day to another.

    • @MTRides
      @MTRides  3 роки тому

      I really can't believe it's THAT bad dude.. If I'm able to go around so quickly and catch wayyyy more powerful bikes...
      I'm going on a trackday soon with a teacher and I hope that after a couple of track days I'll look back on this video and realise you were indeed correct. If not then it is just this camera angle that doesn't show my movement properly

      I agree. With a good position, your peg will never touch ground. You are probably at the limit of the bike. If you try to go quicker it could slip. Try to move you upper body first, it will give you less lean angle at same speed, so safer riding. Look at Motojitsu on youtube, it will help you for your position.
