    I ride bikes and massively appreciate the skill and balls of these riders, but I have to take a moment to appreciate the Seat Leon and its driver in these videos. To keep up with these riders is no small task. Big respect to both the car, and the driver 🙌🏼

      Cars are Always quicker in the turns(Basic Physics). 600's are quick, but not as quick as you'd imagine, 1000's are more of a handful in the turns than the lighter 600's.

      @@adaptiveagile ABS,TCS will add a few kilograms but nothing major. I ride a FZ6S ,2004 which has the R6 2003 engine with less aggressive cams and top end,but pulls like a train 8000-12/12.5k.

      @golf1diesel 4 роки тому +8

      @@adaptiveagile what I meant was that in the 90s, a 600cc sportsbike would embarrass a Ferrari 355. Nowadays,a 488 which is in the same class with a 355, already needs a quick liter bike to out accelerate it. 4 wheels give a lot of advantage

    • @timmason7430
      @timmason7430 4 роки тому

      @adaptiveagile No, not really, there's still about 30-40lbs difference
      BUT, My K5 IS comparable to the CBR600rr of that period being the last of the "pure" sports bikes.
      2007 being the start of the rider aids(GSXR1000K7 with it's rider modes as an example) even though ABS has been around on 'some' Bikes since 1988. Honda introduced abs on their Blade in 2008 and tech seems to have grown since then.
      all these rider aids AND emissions laws (Chimneys for exhaust silencers!) have contributed to the extra weight on the latest Bikes.

Überwacht von guides die auch mal was sagen zu egoistischen fahrern. Minimiert das risiko ungemein, zumal ich sowieso denke das Auto und Motorräder nicht auf die gleiche strecke gehören.

    I have been to the Nurburgring 7 times. Driving Cars and riding bikes.
    Driving a modern car hard at the Ring is not actually that skillful or dangerous. Be honest car boys. Admit it. They have electronics. Sensors. Massive grip. Massive brakes. Air bags and roll cages. ETC ETC ETC You can push a car hard at the Ring after only your first few laps.
    Riding a bike fast at the Ring however requires a lot more skill and near perfect circuit knowledge - as bikes bite you hard if you get it wrong.
    Get it wrong in a car and you can get away with it on most occasions.

      @rummsdala 5 років тому +10

      Markus Nö Es gibt keine Motorradklsse bei der die Leistung schwerer zu dosieren ist als die 600er Supersportler. Durch die extrem zugespitzte Motorcharakteristik ist bei niedrigen Drehzahlen quasi keine, bei hohen Drehzahlen dafür plötzlich extrem viel Leistung vorhanden. Das entsprechend zu nutzen ist extrem schwierig.

    Hammergeiles Vid, ziehe meinen Hut vor den Jungs auf den Bikes, fahre selber mein halbes Leben. Die haben's voll drauf, perfekter Fahrstil! Der Seat rockt auch mit seinem Fahrer. Ihr habt echt Nerven und Eier, lach!!!

    This shows how Bikes rule over Cars, even in F1 all you see of the driver is the helmet move but in MotoGp the riders are cranked over sliding around at 280 Ks plus with knees & elbows dragging on the ground .. There's no comparison because one is a gladiator and the other a Pilot.

    • @nikobd9984
      @nikobd9984 6 років тому +25

      I'm a biker as well! But have you ever felt the acceleration and the breaking of a F! car?
      Both, the rider and the pilot are magnificent. There is no good or bad on either side

    • @fnq-8890
      @fnq-8890 6 років тому +20

      +Niko BD ., yeah mate I talking about how MotoGp riders & Superbike riders hang off the side of the bikes dragging knees & elbows power sliding through corners which is a whole lot more spectacular than seeing a F1 drivers helmet move now & then while inside a protective carbon fibre shell.

    • @nikobd9984
      @nikobd9984 6 років тому +4

      @ Queenslander, I get what you're saying, the risk is even higher to ride a bike at it max!
      Just being on the pegs and move left to right needs a lot of physically strength!
      On the other side the F1 dude is strapped to the seat but their braking power is pure and the G's are a lot, your inner organs gets pushed, pulled a lot.

    • @fnq-8890
      @fnq-8890 6 років тому +2

      +Niko BD .. I hear you Niko & yes F1 is whole different world compared to the rawness of bike riding, requiring a set of skills & reflex's that no one bar them will ever know, and I think a lot of F1 guys watch MotoGp in Awe because it's something in Motorsport they can't do. With the exception of maybe Michael Schumacher who wanted to conquer Bikes as well and to his credit got down to pretty competitive times on the Ducati superbike and if it wasn't for his accident would have gone on to do well. So 'yes' you are right they are defiantly both Gladiators & Nurburgring is clearly the greatest track on Earth for both but I think although it's a lot shorter Bathurst in NSW down here in Oz would maybe be number 2 .. & the bikes hopefully will be back racing there soon along with the V8s & the 12 hour in a few weeks time (Feb 3 & 4th) with the GT cars,

      @ Queenslander, your are an objective person that's what I truly like. MS was a racer from head to toe sad he ended up this way. I'm german and grew up not far from the Nuerburgring. My dad was an amateur racer and we were very often at the "Ring" I put quiet a lot of rounds mostly in Tourenwagen race cars 2.0 Scirocco or Golf on the Ring and many other race tracks in europe. Always loved racing cars & bikes.
      Stay safe brother :)

      ja wenn einer das bike bewegen kann dann ist das schon faszinierend...obwohl ich wirklcih ungern hinter bikern herfahre .. eine unachtsamkeit .. steinchen .. kühlflüssigkeit .. und das wars für die kollegen - mega risiko auf dem ring :-/ - ja sowas ist sicher auch genial mit slomos .. man sieht das vielleicht hier auf dem video nicht so .. aber das sieht so genial aus beim rausbeschleunigen und vor allem beim anbremsen wie die bikes arbeiten und sich verwinden .. und die schwarzen streifen auf der strecke :D

      Ja dem kann ich mich nur anschliessen!!
      Trotz aller Gefahren wünschte ich mir mein Bike auch mal so durch die Grüne Hölle jagen zu können ...
      Befürchte aber fast, dass ich das so niemals mehr hinbekommen würde, gerade weil ich viel zu viel Respekt habe vor dieser Materie!
      Aber lieber zu viel Respekt als gar keinen! ;-) #RideSave

      Gutes autofahren von dir! Der Abstand zu den Bikern ist total ok, da alle im Schnellmodus sind und total fokussiert! Auf dem Ring ok, auf der Strasse nicht!

    holy crap both bikers and drivers are really impressive. I'm really surprised about the cupra (this car works! must be well prepared), i don't know Seat that much, i think it's like the golf R inside? Anyway the driver knows his stuff! really enjoyed it.
    I'm a biker and i would love to ride like that. the last one with the MV agusta was less skilled, but on the ring it is still impressive.
    Big up for the guy with the van xD, and the lambo guy who was really close to say goodbye to his toy :p

      Overall the Lambo driver was aware and courteous about letting faster people pass... but yeah... he made a poor decision to ride behind the Mini, and then at the last second changed his mind and jumped out.

    • @droceretik
      @droceretik 5 років тому +2

      Rather than a decision it was a riding mistake as he ran a little wide to end up behind the mini then an almost instantaneous reaction to pull left. He immediately realised he made a mistake and apologised with a wave for pulling in front of the Seat.
