Your "awkwardness" is part of your charm and part of the reason I subscribed. Your not just another smooth talking, trend following, crappy UA-camr. You are something different and unique and don't ever loose that.

You probably dont have the time to look at comments on old videos but to see how happy you were here at 20,000 subs I can't imagine how you feel now. You've come a long way and you deserve everything that you have worked so hard at.......

I had a F250 pull out in front of my 3.6 Outback at 65 which left it totaled. Was blown away by how easily we walked away from the accident that I started looking into the Forester XT as a replacement. That's how I stumbled onto your channel.

When you said you love rally cars, then said 22B, then rally prepped GC8... game over. Officially my favourite UA-cam girl. Currently rally prepping my GF8.

Sarah seems like an awesome roommate, I subbed about two months ago and your how-to videos on car detailing has encouraged me to do it myself and give it more of a shot than just running my car through a wash or having someone do it for me. Also, it maybe time consuming, but its always more rewarding when you do it yourself. So, thanks for what you do and continue to do what you do!

Great vid...yes I love Honda CRX (fuel efficiency) the closes to CRX at that time was the 2 door Accord(this was in 94 and my first car in the states). Then I switch to Subaru’s...start w/ the 14’ forester and now w/ the new STI’s. It just something about the EJ rumble that draws me to buy it than the FA engine.

It's funny how we sometimes end up with certain cars. I recently changed from the Toyota 86 because I needed a larger car to transport my dog in, was originally looking at Skoda Octavia RS wagons because you could get manual, test drove etc but found the local dealer (only 2 in my state) to be average to deal with and felt like I was chasing them without response so I decided to check out the Levorg instead, but also thought I'd test drive the WRX and STi whilst I was there because maybe I can get the dog in back anyway because they'll still have 4 doors. FA20 motor was a bit 'boring' for me, power felt good and linear, however I missed the WRX rumble that comes with the EJ, and I couldn't bring myself to have an automatic. STi won out and dog fits perfectly fine in the back :P

I want you to know that you are doing an awesome job. You may be actually trying too hard, or at least worrying about having to try too hard. You're doing great as is, try to relax and have fun! Not that you don't seem to be having fun, just don't like to see you stressed.
Also, I consider you an awesome role model for my own daughters. You are intelligent, curious, talented, willing to take chances, and interested in topics that women have been shying away from for years. You seem very well-rounded and like I said, a great role model.
And enough with the "I don't think I'm that pretty" stuff. LOL. You have gorgeous eyes, beautiful hair, a very enticing smile, and yes, a rocking body. I guess it's (your looks) not the worst thing to have combined with your personality, intellect, and mechanical interests in order to have a successful channel! Best wishes for success Sarah.

I used to play the "guess the car game" with my dad when I was little. Except we would do it at night. He would point out tail lights or head lights and I would guess what car they belonged to. This was back in the 80's early 90's, which was not that easy as everything was square lights.
I come from an automotive family myself 👌🏽

I'm bored with the SJ XT. I thought I could live with the CVT due to the paddle shifters, but it's still boring and sometimes hangs when you really want to floor it. Having Subaru say they are extending the warranty on the CVT is also pretty worrisome for long term ownership.

It's funny to go back into the archives for comments like "awkward". Seriously? I think it's clear these 5 years hence that your genius is leaning so hard INTO what would be mischaracterized as awkward, and Sarah, you've raised that to a high art. That nobody else does all you do, reviewing and building almost entirely by yourself, would be accomplishment enough. That you lace it all so effortlessly with such humor and disarming charm makes you, for my money, one of the greatest UA-camrs alive.
And I say "one of" only to account for some shit I might not have seen yet. 😁

Just curious about the last question asked. Why wouldn’t you opt for a Forester STI from Japan instead of the XT? Pretty sure with the price of the vehicle/shipping/importing it would still be cheaper.
    Side note, you’re beautiful.
