The look on your face when Charlie was saying "you pretty much just edit out the boring parts like driving to the shop and pouring a bowl of cereal" was priceless... :) Merry Christmas!!!
Wow, some serious appreciations to all the hard work and discipline you put into these videos. I think your fans who care about you, would love to see you take a vacation every now and then also.
I wish I could, it’s UA-cam itself that unintentionally punishes creators analytically for taking a break. I’ve watched it literally destroy channels when they interrupt their consistency by taking time off. Only way to do it is to build a backlog of videos, however that’s nearly impossible with the amount of labor I put into each video.
@@SarahnTuned One way to make it possible would be making a travel vlog on a vacation, but of course that'd not be a total vacation. Do you know how big punishment would you get if you released shorter (5-10min) videos for a week or two (be it vlog or your normal content sliced into shorter pieces so that you could make a usual one week to last for two weeks)?
@@SarahnTuned Would it be possible for you to hire an editor to outsource some of the work? Or is that not feasible with the current state of the channel?
@@Ranger_Kevin I tried, several times. I have a difficult genre, not only must you be proficient in FCPX but also be mechanically inclined and understand by weird sense of humor. Better off doing it myself.
You're genuine and sincere - I think that's what makes you stand out among other car journalists and vloggers who prefer not to show their true selves in front of the camera and just paly a role. Well, that and your fantastic productivity. At least that's what I've seen in this video. 👏
I know I have said before Sarah, but a lot people like these vlog style videos. That and imho film videos that are easy to film or have a light editing workload. I watch you're videos because you're personable, relatable and interesting. I would still watch if all your videos were mostly vlog style.
FYI I love the car reviews. Especially high end ones. And. one benefit of being your own boss, is YOU get to choose what you want to do So dont feel guilty, do what you want.
Great Vlog, I’m not really one who likes vlogs but you kept it interesting and informative. Your content is genuine,…you don’t add any idiotic antics for views, your passion for what you do shines through in every video. Keep being original and your channel will be surpassing 500k subscribers in no time! 👍👍👍

I have been watching almost everday for a spell and you never fail to educate me or make laugh....Merry Christmas! Hoping Santa brings something bad ass...
I really appreciate all the effort you put into your content. I enjoy your channel because as an ex mechanic of 20+ years i can appreciate your efforts to show what its really like.
It's amazing how much time you work, film, and edit to make a 20+/- minute video. I watched a behind the scenes YT video of a cyclist on how he records a typical video. He was literally riding around an additional 10-15% on a route just to get those approach shots. Like yourself, it probably takes 10 mi minutes for a 5 second fly by. Great job, you have an incredible work ethic. Have a very Merry Christmas! 🎄 Tell Charlie the same.
Thanks for sharing your life with us Sarah. I for one really appreciate the effort you put in on a daily basis, and I also really enjoy your new channel as well.

I never get tired of pointing out your tremendous work ethic. For those who think that UA-cam success "just happens," Sarah is proof positive that it takes absolute commitment, 80-100 hour work weeks, and rock solid will to succeed. I am in awe of what you do and hope to meet you in person one of these days. Even in what appears on the surface to be a "throw away" vlog, you managed to do content within content with actual information (MR2 window trim) and production how (camera placement, raw footage workflow) and true BTS (the guys next door and Charlie). You channel is my goto channel to inspired and entertained. Merry Christmas.
I subscribe and I love the car reviews as much as the other videos. As a Z32 owner, I really love that you pay attention to ease of servicing and the unique headaches that come with owning a 30-year old machine that always needs something.

I enjoyed this video, I think because you seem happy. It's great that you get to do something you love and it comes across in your content. I originally came to your channel because of the TT, I own a 2001, but I've stayed because you are a great mechanic. I love that you have carved your own path and found something that works for you. I keep telling my kids that there are other options besides the obvious and it's great to see someone taking a different path and succeeding. I'm not sure how sustainable your schedule is, but you'll figure that out! Thanks for all of your great work, here's to your continued success.
Hi, Sarah. Thank You for the insight. I've worked as a mechanic, aircraft machinist, and sys analyst and admire your knowledge, research and presentation and frankly the fun your channel presents. You seem to have struck a balance of personality and work ethic that I have rarely seen through my life and you are one of the few I prefer to watch in my areas of interest. It took me years to solve the balance of time off and work ethic as well, but it is worth striving for that balance, much like production shows in the past you might be able to use past footage to create something fun for those times you wish to take off and explore life. Take Care.
I appreciate all the effort you put into your videos. When I feel a bit down your videos always cheer me up. You have a fun sense of humour, are very pretty, your knowledge base is impressive and you are real and very human, pleasant and humble.
Personally, I love the car reviews. They're always so raw and real, rather than most others that seem to be 'pitch tapes' that cater to the manufacturers. Awesome that you get to do what you like.
Great Video. I'm not sure if this applies to small tires, but on big truck tires new tires will move on the rim and thus change the balance a bit. never a bad idea to check wheel balance regularly.
I'm disappointed your car reviews don't get more views, but I totally get why you would love doing them: You're basically getting 1st dibs on all the new stuff, and who else out there gets to have all these cars to drive around for a week without having to buy them! I was looking for information as to where the 'passenger fuse box' was located on my Ford and it sent me here, but thats OK I've smiled the whole time watching your great videos! I keep Fords Subaru Honda and Suzuki running way past their warranty! Really relate to taking things apart like this, interesting to see how its done!
Sarah, you’re upfront, straight up, honest and fun to watch. I sub’s many many moons ago and enjoyed every clip you’ve produced. Every topic you touch has this level of quality, which is rare in the car community! And I like especially the “Corolla” reviews… why? Would I ever buy a bazillion dollar car? No, so why would I bother wanting to watch a review! I drive a normal car, and I want to learn about other normal cars.. so keep rocking Sarah!
Great video Sarah, you do a fantastic job putting them together. You're beautiful inside and out your sense of humor is contagious sometimes I wish your videos were longer but I know how that goes can't wait for the next one, ooh you need a puppy just saying.

Merry Christmas Sarah! Thanks for the hard work on these videos and cars 👍🏼
Sarah, you're amazing! Thank you for all you do and share.
Butters!! 😸 I enjoy your vlog episodes, it makes a nice change from your other videos. Have a lovely Christmas Sarah and Butters, and a fabulous New Year 😸
I was looking for information as to where the 'passenger fuse box' was located on my Ford and it sent me here, but thats OK I've smiled the whole time watching your great videos! I keep Fords Subaru Honda and Suzuki running way past their warranty! Really relate to taking things apart like this, interesting to see how its done!
Merry Christmas, Sarah. Enjoyed your vlogmas.
Your one dedicated & hard working gal Sarah , a consummate professional .
I really dig your content, it really feeds my need for cars, guitars & all things cool on the tube .Wishing you a very merry Christmas & happy healthy & prosperous new year ahead .
You are an excellent editor as well as a car girl!!!
Really appreciate the Vlogmas Special! I can't speak for all of your 400+K subscribers (congrats!), but I for one really enjoy your reviews of everyday cars...And this coming from someone who finds 90% of today's cars boring, vanilla, and uninspiring. You manage to make them all interesting by "giving us the beans" and all of the deep down details that nobody else does. Keep it up and Happy Vlogmas!
Hey Sarah, that was an interesting look those T top seals that’s Toyota for you seals that actually fit. You’ve done a great job this year I hope you can always find some time for yourself that’s important have a great Christmas and a great new year🐧🐧🐧👍
Thank you for your hard work and insight into our auto passion. Checked out a nicely prepped MR2 at Sebring a few weeks ago, made me miss mine I had about 10 years ago. Even though I track my Cayman GT4 and Civic Type R I’d still love to add an MR2 to the stable. Hope the new seals keep you and the MR2 dry!
Great vlogmas, Sarah!
Thank you for all your hard work, I truly enjoy your channel. You are very genuine and I feel like I can trust you, that is what makes your channel so great!
I'll share this video to my colleague who should learn from you the meaning of commitment, and work ethic.
It is really great how much you care about doing your best no matter what it is. Thank you for being you!
MERRY CHRISTMAS SARAH & FAMILY!!
