Die hard Cowboys fan since 71, and living in upstate NY knowing that Boo really means MOOSE , Daryl Moose Johnston ....this was my first of many Cowboys jersey's !
Nice Frank ! I became a fan in January of 72. I was just a little kid and my dad sat me down with him to watch Super Bowl VI. When I saw Bob Lilly chase down Bob Greise with that sack for a 29 yd loss, I was hooked! Fast forward several seasons and my parents bought me two jerseys for Christmas. A white Cowboys Tony Dorsett jersey and a navy blue Bears Walter Payton jersey. I still have both (no names on the back). I've since added a vintage Roger Staubach, Randy White, Troy Aikman, Emmitt Smith, Michael Irvin and yes- Moose Johnston. I told myself I'd never get another jersey until they won the Super Bowl again. Here I am in 2023 and sadly still waiting...
Everyone knows about the Triplets, and rightfully so as they're all 3 HoFers. But it's guys like Moose Johnston, Jay Novacek and Alvin Harper on offense (not to mention their great o-line)- and Ken Norton, Charles Haley and Darren Woodson on defense that made the Dallas Cowboys thee Team of the 90's. And I have to mention the inspirational special teams dawg, Bill Bates. They were stacked with zero weaknesses.
Goddamn I miss this pass rush. All over Simms and Graham. Haley, Tolbert, Lett, Jeffcoat, Norton Jr., Jones, Henning. And that's not counting the DBs blitzing.
When you see Coach Tom Landry at 11:21 it's like a moment in time. This is the game they put him in the Cowboys Ring of Honor.

Once upon a time when the Cowboys would actually win with a good lead and few errors or interceptions. At least we have the memories!

Thank you...those were good times, the 80s almost forced me to go bohemian and end up a Philly bagle

The game where Aikman was .1 off a perfect QB rating before he suffered that Hamstring injury.
A good ass kickin
New York Giants Against Dallas Cowboys From 1993 ☺🏈
Sorry but Aikman was simply better than Staubach
😂
Roger did a lot more with his legs in one year than aikman in his career. Love both guys. Nobody was more accurate than aikman.
comparisons are odious
