Emmitt Smith is sooo underrated and underappreciated. Most fans shrug off his accomplishments by saying how great his offensive line was. But, look at how many tackles he breaks and how many yards he racks up after contact. His vision in traffic is unmatched. Just because he wasn't a flashy looking runner and didn't have world class speed doesn't mean he isn't an all-time great, which he is. He's the all-time rushing and rushing TD leader. He's as good as anyone, ever, at the RB position.

Dallas wouldn’t of won one without Emmitt Smith. Emmitt literally “carried” them to those Super Bowl championships. First two games of 1993 proved that. Emmitt has a heart of a champion.

I remember being in Cleveland, Ohio on business, and watching this game in my hotel room. I was offered tickets to go to the Browns game, but turned them down because the Cowboys were the NBC national game on tv.

Good decision. Watch the powerhouse 90's Cowboys in the comfort of your hotel room or go to a game at the Mistake by the Lake? Sounds like it was an easy choice.

@Erik Makai bruh, Barry Sanders was the real running back in that era, he ran for 2000 yards in a season behind that terrible Lions Oline. Emmitt would not even finish a season if he was playing behind that Detroit Oline
      ..
That Dallas Oline made careers for Aikman and Emmit who would have been avg to below avg players anywhere else.

Team of the 90's! I turned 25 in 90 and was living in Hawaii- as a die hard Cowboys fan. These Cowboys teams provided the greatest backdrop to my surfing lifestyle of that decade. Watching the Cowboys win, and surfing everyday provided me with the fondest memories.

Here in summer of 2023 watching this and reading your comment. The Cowboys of the past two years have really underachieved. They should've been to a Super Bowl by now. Dak really needs to step it up another level and improve in his playoff performances- because at this point, he's basically becoming Romo 2.0
With the 2023 season approaching, seems most fans and pundits are counting them out, again. I sure hope they can at least get to the NFC Championship game this season... I have faith!

@@astralwerks4 I don't remember troy always being down 31-3, 20-0 24-7, to good teams when they are playing the normal defense. Once they go to prevent defense dak sure can light then up. But when it's a close game or in doubt 3 and out or bad throws. A ton of garbage stats last 2 years... Dak was 75% responsible for them being down 20-0 to the Falcons. First 3 drives 3 and out then fumbles.... a great qb does not keep getting his team down in huge deficits by going 3 and out throwing picks/fumbles.

@@astralwerks4Dak plays in a watered down game. The NFL had to dummy the rules down to get you to believe a QB like Dak is good. That’s exactly why Jalen Hurts was in a Super Bowl already and Patrick Mahomes has two rings. These modern day QBs have never faced pass rushers that could actually hit the QB. Defenses that could actually hit hard and low. DBs could who actually cover. None of these new QBs will ever see the likes of a Reggie White, Bruce Smith, Derrick Thomas , Kevin Greene, Charles Haley, Ronnie Lott, and so on. Defense in the NFL is a thing of the past.
