I dont think that the MK5 shown here is a GTI... its only a modified LOOK version of GTI wich could have a 1.6 or 1.8 TFSI stock engine compared to the MK6 wich is the original sports GTI 2.0 engine.
@Bogdan Dina yes i can check it and I am a mk5 gti owner. I have try it stock for stock and if the mk6 gti won on start he won all the race. But if the mk5 gti won the start mk6 gti can't get closer anymore.
I've owned both and the mk6 gti is only a little bit faster at high end. Pretty much the same car, altho the mk6 has a nicer and newer interior that's all really.
