Kevin you need a bulldozer now to keep up with Todd Family Farm. That excavator would have been the ticket for the Challenger cab.. .Ronda I hope allyour chicks and garden have amazing results. God bless you.
Ronda is pretty impressive. She taught McKenzie how to shift the semi a few years ago and now she is figuring out how to use the excavator. 😊 I managed to help my wife in the kitchen after having my knee replacement surgery on March 4. Ham, scalloped potatoes, sweet potato and carrots are the vegetables. Cheesecake is the dessert. Her knee surgery was Nov. 6. I am glad that Easter is a bit later this year. We watched Live Stream for Resurrection Sunday. Our church had an Easter Brunch. . . . Those must be Easter chicks. 😊
You are exactly right she is an impressive lady. I can run most any pieces of equipment that I can get my hands on but I'm not worth much in the kitchen. I don't mind gardening but I don't do any canning freezing or putting away... I think it helps that she is a farm girl.
My comment for you all is get a Hydraulic Thumb attachment for your excavator!! That will be so handy!! Also, Does that Case excavator have an adjustable house? Some did, it helps to level you up if digging on a slope!! Great buy and good luck, Vic!!
Nice excavator. Kevin was pretty smooth on the operation of it!! The first big hurdle to learning something new is the willingness to try !!! And Rhonda you showed that and did great!!! To be a better operator you need three things, practice, practice and more practice ! Please be careful !! Have a blessed Resurrection Sunday !!! Thank YOU JESUS !!!! Eddy
Nice buy on the Excavator. It takes some time getting a good feel for those, you and Kevin did good for the first time. Your getting the birds a good place to stay and roost. Good luck with the new buy, I hope you all had a blessed Easter and a great week ahead.
Hello there. Case are a pretty good machine. I have a Daewoo 1:30. It a old machine now. But rums well. You will get used to it. The more you drive it. You need to check the final drive's for oil. And change it regular. Iv been driving diggers since I was 8 years old.
Happy Easter to your family may your day be filled with happiness After you get used to the new excavator you will have a lot of fun and there's many things that you can do with it to make you jobs easier. One attachment Kevin will add is a thumb it's a very helpful tool
Great piece of new Equiment! Always admire a young lady willing to help an jump on a different new piece of equipment. Lots of times is Gr8 to have extra operator. Happy Easter!!!
A little thing you can do when you want to turn when you are not carrying anything on the bucket is you put the bucket on the ground and lift the front or back of the track off the ground and then spin the tracks around that way you don't have as much weight on the track when you're trying to turn.
Thumbs are rubbish. Better to buy a thumb bucket. The thumb is part of the bucket.. thumbs on the stick rattle , extra weight and only have have half range as a thumb bucket.
We bought an older caterpillar 205 excavator it was cheap and we had to do a few small maintenance jobs on it but it’s working well now and I love using it and I think it’s going to be a handy tool around the farm
Hi Happy Easter great job with the excavator !!!!. you are a women that can do everything in this world . a little at a time. the best to you and you'r family .
Happy Easter !!! We tried those wood pellets and didn’t like them Shavings last longer and keep you out of water better. I am glad that you got the Case excavator
A beautiful day full of hope for He is risen! Nice toy Kevin! Are there any plans for expanding the pond to retain more water for irrigation? The excavator should come in handy when Kenzie wants to move her coop home. Have a safe and blessed Resurrection day and week.
Hi you a quick hitch which mean you can the off the bucket when doing any lifting plus you can change bucket sizes buckets.like 12''18''24''36''which would the main digging bucket ie loading bulk on to lorrys ,which look like the one on there at the moment. then there a grading bucket 5 foot/ 48'' with no teeth just blade on it .ì drive them full time in the UK the biggest I,'ve operated was a 100,50 ton cat which had extra weights which had a 28 meter reach , I drive wheeled or tracked machines .That looks like fs 160 which would 16 /18 ton machine .sound like the diesel filter needs changing that a good machine ye bought there good luck with it .What I say to operator learning to operator is use finger tips on controls till you get used to them .That size machine could flatten a car with two sweeps stay clear of them if you can,t see the operator he can,t see you stay clear minimum ten meter there a lot of blind spot from the operator seat ie down the right side and behind the cab we've started putting c cameras in them so you can see behind you, as people be come placecent while operating them. .
i took my black lab to my grandmas a couple years ago. and i took the 4 wheeler and my lab was just following me and he wondered off. all of a sudden he lets out a yep high tailing it to grandmas house.i turned around ran to the house to grab the gun thinking badger went out there where he started yepping and all i found was a turkey sitting on her nest.she was not happy to see me . i didnt shoot her but she chaced me a little ways down the field. she was just protecting her babies.

Right on! My wife helps me out quite a bit but has no interest in running a skid/ excavator
Congratulations. Every farmer should have an excavator

Happy Easter to you and your family Rhonda!
Do you understand the plantar plates and the way they work in the seed box and how to pick which plate to put with which variety of corn.
An excavator is so versatile...at least mine is (Kubota 040-4)...but get a thumb for the bucket. They're worth every penny.
Hi Rhonda. Another great video, thank you for showing us your farmer life. Happy easter and see you next video.
Thank you! You too!
Happy Easter.
Have fun with the new toy.
It looks like it is going to be a very useful tool. Thanks for sharing
Thanks! You too!
I ❤running ours!!
If you're going to buy an excavator you need to get one with a thumb on it it comes in very very very very very very helpful
Yes, Kevin wants a thumb.
He'll figure out a way to put one on
Thumbs are rubbish. Better to buy a thumb bucket. The thumb is part of the bucket.. thumbs on the stick rattle , extra weight and only have have half range as a thumb bucket.
YOU ARE SO RIGHT
Go a little extra and get a hydraulic thumb it’s worth every dime.
In your free time Rhonda you’re gonna have to get out and play with the excavator, it all takes practice to get used to it
Keep it up Rhonda . Pretty soon youll be running that thing like a pro. Its all in the practice.
Farm girls can do everything, Rhonda, you are proof of that.
We bought an older caterpillar 205 excavator it was cheap and we had to do a few small maintenance jobs on it but it’s working well now and I love using it and I think it’s going to be a handy tool around the farm
Looks and sound like you were having fun driving that thing.

Thank you!
Happy Easter !!! We tried those wood pellets and didn’t like them Shavings last longer and keep you out of water better. I am glad that you got the Case excavator
Thanks! So far, I'm not overly impressed with the pellets. I don't think they're as comfortable for the chicks.
Happy Easter. I wish i had a machine like that to clean up my yard 😏
What do you think about the Maryland bridge getting hit?
Good morning and great video Rhonda. Have fun with the excavator. Take care and Happy Easter

Empty bucket won't hit the window.
Ask yourself how many moms have operated an excavator.👍
Tell Country Spirit Oder is a river in Europe.
Baby calves are growing like a weed also.
nice new toy. Rhonda did I hear a slight grunt or grove when you climbed in that thing the 1st time? "There's no ladder "
Fantastic that you brought your mechanic along.
