If you want Supertramp live, the Paris 1979 concert is the best preserved one, but you may also take a look to their Munich 1983 farewell concert, where they have an extended line-up and the songs have very interesting renditions.
This is not a live performance. What you are hearing is the studio recording. It's still good to see them though. If you want to see and hear them on stage, Live in Paris is the best.

The cover is the waitress standing there like the Statue of Liberty with Manhattan behind her made of of things you would find in a diner. And the album is called Breakfast in America. The cover won a design award.

As others have mentioned, this looks like live footage with dubbed in album version of the song.
saw them in concert in the late 70's and sadly was not familiar with their music and don't even remember the concert (though I have the ticket stub still) Wish I would have seen them when I knew the music and was mature enough to appreciate them. Great music.
This ain't the live version it's a prerecorded video. Try the 1979 live in Paris version. Sound very much the same. Roger (The highest voice) is not singing in falsetto, but Rick &John are. Check out "Another Man's Woman" Live in Paris. it's the best of Roger and Rick. They sing amazing.
I believe that breakfast in America album cover said just a simple thing that tray and the orange juice from a dinner restaurant is the breakfast and the towers in NYC means America. That is it. Breakfast in America. Agree or not? 😅

Awesome band, rabbit hole worthy. Rick Davis is the lead singer here. Most of the hits have Roger Hodgson on lead, that's the guitar player.

Of course is Life!. They were all extremelly gifted musicians plus, as a band, they had the intention to reproduce life concerts with the arrangements and quallity of their studio recourdings. They were know to play the complexity of their studio arrangements onstage and they were precise to the limits in sound and detail. Fantastic concerts that i was Lucky to attent. Magical excellence
Sometimes I have a hard time telling the difference between Roger and Rick in live videos. They look just enough alike.

I think this could be LIVE. These guys are great musicians. You can find other live performances and it sounds EXACTLY as the original. They are funky. Find one with a saxophone or clarinet.

The music has been dubbed as there are at least a couple of breaks in it to presumably to deal with timing creep.
