#FordFocus - Авто та транспорт
3 cylinders sounds better than 4 cylinders, change my mind!
But will it last more than 60k miles before the engine overheats / breaks
@@nevs1992 These engines last 300k kilometers easily. 1.0 Ecoboost has been produced since 2012 and major issues were solved by 2015. It is reliable.
@@youlol7331Wasnt sorted by 2015 I had 2015 focus 1.0 ecoboost it had a coolant leak that took ages for me to figure out where it was coming from it was from the pipe at the back of the engine which goes to the heater matrix you can barely see the pipes tiny engine but all the pipes and wiring etc in the way u couldnt see the offending pipe without using phone camera down there then 6 months later oil pressure light on because of the fucking wet belt stupid design blocks the oil pickup.
Ive got a new car now not spending all that money in repairs with how much it costs to get the wet belt changed around £800-£1000 lost faith in the car and next thing you know would be the turbo blowing from the oil pressure fault probably would have gone soon after it was a money pit.
The new ones now switched to timing chains but wet belt for oil pump still and most likely theres no more common water leaks on the new version
@@nevs1992mines on 131k and no problems.. just service consistently and ur good to go👌
300k km? No it won't @@youlol7331
I had a few of these 3 cylinders they are quick for what they are
But the wetbelts make them a pain in the ass when the time comes to change them as it costs nearly a grand to replace as its a 5-8 hr job some people do it for cheaper but usually dodgy
@@Qelynwho told you that?
800€ with tensioner and waterpump.
very fast motor vehicle, well done sir 👍
Overpowered
Si afinas el cambio puede hacerlo en 10
I am interested in the age of these engines🤔
Be ecoboom driving like that 😮
They are good engine’s it’s just when the time comes to replace wetbelt it sucks and most people don’t bother and say it’ll be fine and it blows up and most ppl who have fiestas are young teens wanting a hot hatch or people who aren’t that into cars and don’t service them
@@Qelynthe only ones with the wet belts are the ones without the mild hybrid power train (the regular 1L turbo in the base st line) the st line x and the mild hybrid 1L turbos use a chain
@@jamrah8713ALL new 1L use chains, regardless of the model.
Belt is not in the program anymore for any 1L after 2019 or was it 2020
Ford germany american vactory 🇺🇲🇩🇪
Sounds like a mini v6
Ford focus was so good why’d they stop making it.
Are they not making it anymore?
Everyone wants SUVs apparently
My Stline 2019 is only 137 and its 1.5 . Not much difference, i may get one of these for cheaper insurance. Cool upload by the way. 😎
wow almost 6500 rpm..
For a 1.0l engine they’re nippy little cars, they’re faster than the 1.6l version of the same car.
Cok kotu vites degistirmeler ve esp acik gazlama...
I've got a 2015 2.0. if its faster it's not by much. Even with 160 hp.
Makes me question if I should just stick with the 125
@@IgglePickleI would. I was able to replace the stock steering wheel with a Ford escape steering wheel with paddle shifters. It's really fun to drive but upgrading doesn't make sense. Maybe if you went with an ST or RS.
Da 0 a 100 in 12,5 secondi e troppo per un 125cv,io ho una dacia sandero 1,5dci 90cv e ci mette 11 secondi
El mio en 3 a 145 km
….ECOBOOM !
2013 var bendede 9saniyde 0/100ü
Yeah he had very slow shifting
How tf does that spin the tires but my 2.0 can’t???
Turn off your traction control.
@@bobbykoller2003 yeah. I have
Your tires have better grip possibly bigger engine more weight whats the bhp of your 2.0 fiesta’s have good power to weight
@@Qelyn it’s because mines AWD.
Relax Guys he's going Directly to Dealership for engine Overhaul
That might be the slowest thing I have ever seen 😂
I mean ,for a 1.0 and ~1350kgs that's pretty good ngl
check out 1983 ford ranger 0-60mph and compare to that
You haven't seen many cars bro wow.
Your cousin cleetus is pretty slow
With out sport mode yes. Still isn’t slow at all for a wagon car.
Cuidado con el manguito de refrigerante... Es un motor m4riquita, tienes que cuidarlo mucho
Blessings in an abundance of the faith. I salute you. 😘🙏Grace and peace be unto you and to this place. God bless you. 🌹Thank you. Will you believe and receive Jesus Christ as your LORD and personal saviour??? I do. 😊
All good... until the engine melts....
Slow down. That's way too fast.
Small engine big turbo
Big undersquare cylinders with tiny turbo for low rpm feedback and torque.
Thats why you dont need to rev them and why they drive like Diesels with less turbo lag than a Diesel.
Not good engines
a very happy but a very shit engine 😔, shame the teardowns on these are brutal
I own 1 for 5years 1.0 ecoboost ,awful car built to last 5years😂 falling apart literally ,handles OK but no point this car too heavy for that engine, in a liccle festa yeah ok👍oh I recently found out the cam belt is inside the engine😱 so as the belt perishes, bits of rubber floating around your engine, terrible idea!!! 25mpg aswell 🤣🤣and thats driving like miss daisy aswell 😕
My 4 banger 2.3L 2002 Honda accord accelerates just as fast at half throttle without going over 4500 rpm😂
And you pay more gass money;p
And does your car get 40+ MPG?
It doesnt.
@@Qelyn no still gets 30 and it has lasted 22 years and it’s going strong. I doubt the ford will last 7 years with that engine
@@nickparkin8527 mines lasted 10 years on original wetbelt costing me £650 to change it though never had a issue 🤷♂️ people don’t change the oil and complain about it braking also you might see alot of shit about fiestas because they’re one of the most common cars especially in the uk way worse engines and mine is getting near to 50mpg and 125HP is alright for a hot hatch some cars have 69bhp 😭
Junk
Why? Yours is better ? 😂😂😂
Because you cant even afford that
Sounds like a hair dryer a buggatti with 1000bhp could smoke that crappy car
Obviously a Bugatti would smoke a 1L Focus what are you trying to prove lol
@@Skippy0330 lmao
