That car was built with the wheels and suspension and he charged all of it he got a lot of work to do but I’m glad he is that guy that has the ball to chop that kind of car up and drive it
Judging by how smooth that last run was and how happy you were. That last run had to be between 8.9 and 9.1 at about 150. Congratulations you made all of us that were criticizing you for putting the car on bags look stupid. Great job figuring the car out.

Probably a low 9 pass. Highly doubt a 8.9/9.0 pass. all the Demon 170s seeing those times are 1.2 60ft.
Simply put im happy to see a 170 owner SEND IT down the track. Bags. Springs. I havent a clue what those cars need/like. Flat out of my financial wheelhouse. As an enthusiast I thank you for letting it loose.

I don't know, that run was very smooth, and judging by how happy he was he may have hit an 8. For a car with only 50 miles on it he's getting a really good trap speed. He's got a good one there.

The car looked absolutely wicked. By far the best looking one their in my opinion. You’ll get it dialed in with some more wheel time. It was good talking to you briefly at Legions. I had the Go Mango Super Stock.

@@RDUA-cam54 that’s not true at all everyone I’ve seen does a monster wheelie and hooks up! Boogies down the quarter-mile!
Mickey Thompson says to race them at 17psi, and if you are still having trouble try 15psi. You also have the torque management system so you can set up how the power comes in on the launch. Might have to turn it down a little, then add in a steep ramp up
They’re not the mickeys that come with the car from mopar, so this won’t apply.
@@Grandpuba1069 I'm aware they aren't the stock Mickey Thompson tires that came with the car, but they still run the same psi requirements from Mickey Thompson..... I have the same tires as him.

Racer X had his doing the exact same thing on the launch a few weeks ago. He was describing it like the whole car was jumping off the ground. Couldn't get it to hook and run on a plaid. Finally got a good run in the evening when the track cooled. Both of your launches looked like the exact same thing happening both in and outside the car.

I thought the idea was to have the front set a little soft so that the weight transfers to the rear and to have the rear set up real stiff. Correct me if I'm wrong. I'm curious to know.
You got the idea right I believe. The way they work when adjusting is how tight or soft during lift (up) or during pressure (down), for both front and back.
if the rear is set too stiff you'll get wheel hop and too much wheel spin

You’ll get the susp dialed I’m sure like you said. By the looks of it though i would try less air in the rear tires. They looked hard as a rock lol

Love the build love the Contant videos a little too short for me. Should’ve drove on the stock suspension a little bit in the beginning learn the car first and then tweak it from there they put a lot of money into that new suspension.

Whats the mileage? ALLLL the 170s are bogging on launch, bringing the RPMs back up real fast, then BOGGING again on the 1-2 shift. Baileys did it BAD, the worst I've seen...until yours. They unlock torque management or some shit as you accumulate miles breaking in, correct? Not to mention just the "normal" settings on the 170 needing to be figured out before you tweak and replace things.
Edit: transbrake unlocks with mileage, anything else? Also, theyre breaking up with the stock plugs even with the factory map and curve.
Those air bags ain’t liking the drag strip. Definitely need to get the car dialed in or more familiar with the power you got this man.

All these comments blaming the bad passes on the air ride is just stupid. Bags may slow it down, but not by that big of a margin. It's a new car, I don't think anyone is used to the 170 yet, not enough to put down really impressive times.
Seen a stock demon 170 run 5.71 with a 1.21 60 foot at the track . There are other performances shops on UA-cam I believe have ran a 5.6 in 1/8 witch is what dodge claims it will run . High 8’s in 1/4 mile . Stock they are making In the low 900’s rwhp pretty impressive for stock

I was against the airbags too but I love how all you idiots are talking shit and you don't even even know what the last run was. What if it was an 8.9 or a 9.0? Then what shit are you going to talk? Do you think he was that happy because he ran a 9.4? Use your brain, he ran between an 8.9 and a 9.1. And that would make him just as fast as anyone has been with the car so far.

Just by the video looks like he's not launching it at the correct rpm and his tires have too much air in them I run 12 psi cold launch at 3500 rpm
