Polygamy is when all of the partners are allowed to see other people. Are any of his wives married to other people? There's something very sketchy going on here. I am fine with polygamy too, but the max amount of partners should be 5 and even that can be too many, but Cheating is not a polygamous relationship, that is giving polygamy a bad name, in polygamy the partners would know and maybe sometimes it could be a triangle, sometimes it is a V, I am partially polygamous, I can live in a monogamous relationship, and I won’t actively look for new relationships, but if something does happen I would tell my partner about it and see if they are okay, and I would also ask if the other person is okay with it, transparency in polygamy is key and essential, so cheating is not true polygamy, usually /proper/ polygamous relationships that are not open relationships (kind of a different thing) will have 2 partners. Both are something I would not do but I find polygamy unfair completely due to the fact that only one’s allowed to see other partners. There's something very sketchy going on here. Not only is he the only one with 27 partners, while his other partners aren't married to anyone else (though I'm sure they might be dating or casually seeing other people, especially since he cannot possibly know what each wife is doing at any given moment given that there are TWENTY SEVEN OF THEM), there is no logical explanation as to how he managed to have them all agree to marry him, knowing his wife count.
Also, he really isn't pleasing to the eye, not very smart, doesn't seem to have a charming personality. So what on earth could have drawn that amount of women to him

Polyamoury always implies consent and romantic feelings from all parties. Polygamy just means "being married to several people at once" - it says nothing about whether or not people love each other. Just like monogamy - being married to one person exclusively. This man is not claiming to be polyamourous, he's never said he loves all these women. He just married them to produce slave children. He's a polygamist. This concept has nothing to do with your (and my) identity or relationship status. I share your dislike of him though.

I am fine with polygamy too, but the max amount of partners should be 5 and even that can be too many, but Cheating is not a polygamous relationship, that is giving polygamy a bad name, in polygamy the partners would know and maybe sometimes it could be a triangle, sometimes it is a V, I am partially polygamous, I can live in a monogamous relationship, and I won’t actively look for new relationships, but if something does happen I would tell my partner about it and see if they are okay, and I would also ask if the other person is okay with it, transparency in polygamy is key and essential, so cheating is not true polygamy, usually /proper/ polygamous relationships that are not open relationships (kind of a different thing) will have 2 partners. So polygamy isn’t horrible, but it gets a bad name because of the people who turn it into a harem

He is a FLDS Mormon, they split off of Mormonism when polygamy was made illegal after the LDS church denounced polygamy, and their church is almost identical, they just still believe in polygamy and racism.
