I watch your videos all the time. I went to get my truck smoged. I was asked if I wanted a dresser. It was left outside. Cherry wood, dove tailed drawers. Brass handles, I can't wait to start. I know it's going to be alot of work. I sure I am ready.

I really liked the look of the paint washed drawers!
Try using a food scale to measure out your paint. Then you can have accurate mixes.
Hardware tip: when doing the guilding wax on hardware, or painting them, use a piece of foam board and stick the screws into it so they dry not laying down.
Agree, turned out beautiful but I would have painted that middle leg and the inner back legs looks like the sprayer missed them maybe?
I like the gilded knobs. Understated and simple. I love it. Good to use up leftover paint.

The hardware turned out better than I expected on the finished piece. Maybe oil rubbed bronze next time? I think a dark metallic brown may offer better color contrast (maybe).

I would take the foam brush to the legs and touch up the paint where the sprayer didn't hit it! Otherwise I really like the way this one turned out!

I love the gold knobs on the top drawers but since the dresser is simple, I would put larger and/or more decorative hardware or even pulls on the painted drawers instead.

I like the gold knobs, though I'd recommend using something with more of a pink tone, like Rub n Buff Antique Gold, rather than the yellow-toned wax that was used. I also think it would help to buff the knobs with a soft cloth after the wax has fully set in order to make them really shine. Other than that, I really like this flip!
I think it turned out beautiful. You should be very proud of all you've accomplished! I like the gold knobs. Sometimes I will just go over harsh gold tones with some burnt umber to take it down a notch and give it some patina effect. Good job I love your work.

I saw this idea on Natalie Callaghans channel Designed to the Nines where she painted vintage bedside pedestals a similar colour and did a tone on tone finish with the handles.

When you have time find some black hardware and see how it looks. Take some off another piece when store is closed lol. Personally I like bigger hardware on long dressers and knobs on tall boys. Not necessarily a color change but what’s more comfortable for me to use.

The paint wash is not enough of a contrast, but I do love the dresser color. Black knobs would contrast much better. Just my opinion.👍🥰
I know you are having a hard time finding furniture. But have you thought of going to a college town near you? Sometimes students don’t want to take furniture with them so they leave them on the curb. Good luck finding furniture!

Nice job Lauren as always. The only thing I see is that middle leg sticks out like a sore thumb. I would paint that leg to blend in with the piece. I love the gold knobs. Nice choice. The color is beautiful.

It turn out so beautiful 😮❤I fell so lucky I bought the same dresser with the mirror and 2 night stands and the tall dresser and the previous owner gave me the mattress head board footboard a brand new comforter set because she was selling the house and I flipped too and she was selling it on FB Market place 400 dollars 🫶😍

Nice work! When you said you were reusing the original knobs I thought of black first! Trying it out with the gold first is a good idea. Two different vibes depending on the color of the knobs. Love your flips!

I had an idea that you could put a QR code on the furniture you make that takes them to your video so they can see how it was before and the work you put into it. If they sell it on then they can tell the new owner about it. Could bring more traffic fo your channel too.
I think the gold hardware looks good. Black would probably look good as well. If you end up thinking the gold is too much, you could also try to add another color over it to make it a more subtle gold.
Helpful Hint: Purchase some Styrofoam blocks & stick your drawer pulls into the styrofoam (not all the way down). It is easier to paint them (brush or spray) & leave them to dry. You can put plastic or paper on the styrofoam to minimize paint on the syrofoam.
I think the hardware is spectacular on that piece. If it wasn’t for the distance I would buy it myself!😊

Paint the backside of the legs. Let your buyer choose if they want different color knobs.
How did you “go”? you asked. I think you “went” just amazingly well. I absolutely love the neutral vibe that to me suggests sophistication and elegance. I love the colors you created and the knobs are definitely best gold colored w the shade of your paint ~ way to “go”, Lauren! Pick me !!! I would purchase if I could. With the way everything is pricing these days, I bet you could get $1,000.

A white gold rub on the knobs would look lovely.

The gold knobs look a little off because they are so warm and the paint is on the cool side, esp the top drawers. But overall, great flip!

Instead of black spray paint, try bronze. The brown looks softer with neutrals. The colour turned out nice.❤🇨🇦
