I prefer the videos where you are in front of the camera and explain what you’re doing. It makes it more personable. Other than that great job as always !

I love the color and the gold pulls against that green is beautiful. This wasn’t my favorite video, I’m not big on ASMR, I’d much rather see you teach and explain what you are doing and why you’re doing it, you do it so well, you’re my favorite flipper.

I realize that others aren’t a fan of this type of video, but I personally liked it. I watch all of your videos and sometimes I feel like explaining each step in detail is repetitive.
I always enjoy watching you work, but didn’t watch this one all the way through. I prefer hearing you talk about the process - that’s what makes it more engaging to me.

Wow, that piece is beautiful. You really did a great job on that and I love the color. If you don’t refinish furniture, you have no idea how much work goes into it. I don’t do it on the scale you do by any means and I do it for my own home. But, I know how much work goes into it, but anyone who does this, also knows. I enjoyed this video, but I have to say I prefer you talking and taking us along for the journey. But this was great for a change. Take care, stay safe.

Solution: Increase video playback speed using the tool icon. :-)
This is a brilliant change to your usual format. The comments about missing your face and voice are certainly a testament to your on-camera relatability.
In the TV world, we call this natural sound. I know here it is ASMR but what you do really lends itself to it. The sound of the sander and ripping tape are perfect. Even the locusts!
If you try this again, maybe lock down a wide shot on a tripod so your editor has something other than POV to cut to.
And either intro and tag out on camera or voiceover so your loyal followers know what to expect.
Good job on taking a risk and trying something different.

Longtime viewer of your videos! Just wanted to offer what hopefully is a helpful suggestion: Using quilted moving blankets under and over the piece would help prevent damage when transporting them.

NOT LIKE: Wasn't feeling the ASMR style video. I am usually doing other things and it helps to hear your commentary you provide along with your work. I understand the need to mix things up and try new things. But i just wasn't in to it. I literally had to look up what "ASMR" meant and when I read the effect it was supposed to have, I felt as if something was wrong with me because it had the totally opppsite effect. 😂

Great video and the piece turned out fab in that color. I would have liked if you had indicated the grit when you were sanding. Found myself going thru al the steps kind of like a rehearsal and the grit for different steps of sanding is something that I don't have quite down yet automatically in my head for a fututre project I am planning. Pavlov would have liked your videos. Good classical conditioning tool to remember all the steps and detail it takes.
