I wonder if ILNP Confetti paired with a regular reflective topper (I have the HT one) would work as a dupe for Disco Dust.
Aw yeah I know they can be super finicky 😅 but yeah the other 2 are super gorgeous! And hmm I personally wouldn’t say Confetti + a reflective topper would be a good alternative but it would definitely be a pretty combo! I love Confetti 🤩🌈✨
What a pretty collection and while I hear the comments about similarity to previously released shades, I am always in to expand a color with a finish or a shimmer that I particularly like - more than getting back-ups

You're so quick!! Love it! I loved the look of this collection!! I picked up Disco Dust because I can never have enough toppers (also picked up Beach Please on sale for neutral sparkle). I held off on the rest since they're not limited edition. I think I'm going to wait and purchase them during the Loyalty Sale or even next year's Black Friday sale. Curfew Crasher and Crystal Sky are probably my top two of the collection. But all of them look so nice and it's fun to see them trying new finishes. Seems kind of like Vacation Collection in terms of the variations of formula, which I love!

Had to get this collection plus the nail oil pen and the nail polish thinner. I don't usually enjoy christmas-y holiday collections but since this was less christmas-y and more new year's I really fell for it! Even the pink shade which I didn't think I liked looks so good when swatched I know I'll still wear it!
Yeah I love the more NYE focused theme of this set, so so fun! And yeah I felt the same about the pink, like meh at first but really warmed up to it the longer I wore it 🥰
Yeah, when she was doing all the teasers and showed the mixing vat of bottle service, it looked really orange and I was pretty annoyed because we just got two oranges. But then I saw it painted on the nail and I was 😍 all of Simply’s other golds are too pale for me, this is exactly what I’ve been waiting for!
Yeah it’s totally fair! When you see it on its own you kinda think orange before gold lol but I do think it shows up more gold on the nail 🤩 and yay I’m glad this one seems like the perfect gold for you!! I can see what you mean where the others lean more like a white gold almost
I think the pink and blue are my favorite. But I could be biased because it’s some of their first muted colors. That definitely makes them more appealing.

I think you sold me on the KBShimmer reflective glitter topper Out of Sequins! I get so disappointed with drugstore glitters when they look dark instead of sparkling on the nail, and the HT Disco ball one is giving the same “gritty” look.
I'm among the people who are confused/upset they're retiring the holiday glitters. Why keep Frost Light when it has a near dupe, but get rid of gems like Plumb Luck that really have no equivalent? It makes no sense.
Seriously!! Idk if Cristine has confirmed it’s bc of sourcing issues with those glitters specifically? But I was more under the impression it’s because they’re “old” but they seem like such staple shades to me!! I know some people don’t love the idea of making a 2.0 version (think Lavenduh & Matcha Maker being discontinued for the new pastels) but I think we deffff would need a 2.0 of the red and gold at the very least! But Plumb Luck would have my priority lol

She said on stream today that they are going to be a few new things still coming during the 12 Days of Cristmas starting on December 1st, so maybe you'll find enough in that set of new stuff to get to free shipping? If not, people love that particular shade enough I think it has a decent shot of coming back from retirement at some point.

Collection is kinda meh for me but still got it. I ended up picking up some backups for the Christmas glitters especially plumb luck, the depth in that polish is just beautiful. It's one of my top favorites in the HT line up still to this day and I hardly used it because of fomo. Now I can use that collection a bit more, yay! I am hoping she expands a bit on the crush holos,that also is a top favorite finish. Thanks for the review..❤

I am totally over glitters with large pieces in them like stars. They’re such a pain in my opinion and I’d rather buy loose glitters to place individually on top.
That’s fair! I mean glitters in general are a pain imo 😅 but I love the finished look so it’s worth it to me! It depends on the polish tho like I do hate having to fish a lot for glitters
Does the HT team give you an upload schedule for PR reviews? I really wish I watched your video before purchasing, I think I would’ve exchanged the choices I made. Just a bit frustrating that there isn’t much time to really plan out purchases for new collections 😅. Def not great for the wallet, especially as an international buyer 😢
We basically have to wait until launch 🥲 I totally hear you & others regarding the super short window of time between actually seeing full swatches & being able to purchase. It seems like a lot of people are over the “teasing” of new shades but it doesn’t seem like it’s gonna end.. thankfully I do think they’ve gotten a lot better at forecasting inventory for launches so there shouldn’t be that same level of FOMO as before, so you actually have time to look up review vids or other content on social media before buying. Like with the exception of the Safiya collection, every other release took weeks if not months to sell out. Idk if it’s worth canceling your first order just to place a second with the polishes you actually want!

For instance, I can't really cancel my order now since 2 of the polishes I got (cool cat mom, fallen flake taco) are both out of stock. The choice was really between impulse buying or waiting to see if the older polishes I want would still be in stock lol!
Ah sadly I don’t have Plush Suede, but I can do a side by side with Porcelain Plum on my stories soon! if I’m remembering Porcelain Plum correctly it might have the same kind of base color, but different shimmer 🤔

I hate when brands advertise such a good deal and then you find out it UP TO 25% and the UP TO is so small compared to the 25% off that grabs your attention.

Currently wearing 3 coats of disco dust alone and it is a GORGEOUS jelly grey vibe. The phone flash effect isn't as strong as over black but I love it

Oh man i shared a whole video on my favs lol! 😆 They all perform the same so there’s not really a “best” one, if anything I would say Plumb Luck because it’s such a unique color but you can pick any you want!

Aw I’m sorry, I just didn’t have anything like Midnight Owl to compare it too 🙈 It’s super stunning though! I think the formula is comparable to the other previous glitters imo where it’ll just need thinner the more you use it.

She said on stream today that they are going to be a few new things still coming during the 12 Days of Cristmas starting on December 1st, so maybe you'll find enough in that set of new stuff to get to free shipping? If not, people love that particular shade enough I think it has a decent shot of coming back from retirement at some point.

Collection is kinda meh for me but still got it. I ended up picking up some backups for the Christmas glitters especially plumb luck, the depth in that polish is just beautiful. It's one of my top favorites in the HT line up still to this day and I hardly used it because of fomo. Now I can use that collection a bit more, yay!

And yess I got my back up of Plumb Luck too, so happy about that 🤩🥹 I almost thought about getting two backups but I thought that was excessive 🤣 and I totally agree about the crushed holos! I do remember her (vaguely) saying we wouldn’t see anymore this year (maybe it was said around the Royalty Debut trio) so hopefully we won’t have to wait too long to see them again!

I am totally over glitters with large pieces in them like stars. They’re such a pain in my opinion and I’d rather buy loose glitters to place individually on top.
I feel like they never look that good because you can't get any consistency with the larger pieces. Even in a top coat it's hard
That’s fair! I mean glitters in general are a pain imo 😅 but I love the finished look so it’s worth it to me! It depends on the polish tho like I do hate having to fish a lot for glitters
Does the HT team give you an upload schedule for PR reviews? I really wish I watched your video before purchasing, I think I would’ve exchanged the choices I made.
Just a bit frustrating that there isn’t much time to really plan out purchases for new collections 😅. Def not great for the wallet, especially as an international buyer 😢
We basically have to wait until launch 🥲 I totally hear you & others regarding the super short window of time between actually seeing full swatches & being able to purchase. It seems like a lot of people are over the “teasing” of new shades but it doesn’t seem like it’s gonna end.. thankfully I do think they’ve gotten a lot better at forecasting inventory for launches so there shouldn’t be that same level of FOMO as before, so you actually have time to look up review vids or other content on social media before buying. Like with the exception of the Safiya collection, every other release took weeks if not months to sell out. Idk if it’s worth canceling your first order just to place a second with the polishes you actually want!
@@PolishedYogi Thanks for the reply! I do agree it has gotten better, but coinciding with black friday got people to impulse buy too I think. For instance, I can't really cancel my order now since 2 of the polishes I got (cool cat mom, fallen flake taco) are both out of stock. The choice was really between impulse buying or waiting to see if the older polishes I want would still be in stock lol!

Ah sadly I don’t have Plush Suede, but I can do a side by side with Porcelain Plum on my stories soon! if I’m remembering Porcelain Plum correctly it might have the same kind of base color, but different shimmer 🤔

I absolutely love Midnight Owl and Starry-Eyed! 😍 So I will prob pick up those two. The rest of them I’m kinda meh about. 🤷🏼♀️ I was so excited to load up my cart for the Black Friday deals, but honestly I’m super disappointed that not everything is 25% off. 🫤 So I am totally rethinking my purchases. I hate when brands advertise such a good deal and then you find out it UP TO 25% and the UP TO is so small compared to the 25% off that grabs your attention.
Yes those are my top two favorites!! Super gorgeous glitters 🤩 and ugh yeah I think that’s how their sale was last year too, like the majority of things were around 20% with a few things being 25% off :/ I should have shared the discounts when they shared them a few days ago in their stories! I’m not even sure what’s 25% off on their site 😅
