Really appreciate your time to put up these videos..😊 Any advice & help for us is priceless. Ps. My physio doesn't seem to help even after 10 months of suffering 🙄. I pray every day for normality 🙏 Sending love from the uk x
@@Lovemy911 thank you for your feedback! It does in fact take a lot of time to put this stuff together, but I know how much people need help and that there’s a lack of reliable information out there so I tried to do my part when I can ☺️ I did put this resource together, and it is one of the best things that I have written it might not be a good fit for your diagnosis but feel free to check it out stan.store/TreatDizzinessathome/p/get-my-comprehensive-vestibul-recovery-program
The foam really is a great way to highlight problems,my favourite for a while was stand on one leg, eyes open, look left look right, you can feel yourself pulled in each direction but improves over time...one leg eyes closed is a huge challenge...love your videos.
Oh I love this type of “self diagnose “ helper info I am confused with my strange triggers. Rolling to the left is my trigger so I thought it was the ear crystal. But it doesn’t go away. Rolling over to the left with looking at my phone makes it worse. Closing eyes causes roller coaster. Even breath work makes it worse. My conclusion is that my NS is sending me the sign of danger ⚠️
Might be time to start slow and cautious habituation for some of these things. Not sure if you heard Mark’s story, but he slept upright for 2 years, and we slowly in incrementally removed pillows until he could almost lay horizontal again. Also I made you a quick short video just published 😁💕
@@treatdizzinessathome2023 i am going to watch his story now! i am almost able to go as low as i want to lay down. almost flat but there is a kick back from the system so i am slowly doing this each day. you bring so much home and thank you for answering questions and share info.
Here’s a beginner vestibular video I did. So it should start at some thing like this, and then progressed to intermediate & advanced. in this playlist, I also have so many tips and tricks on how to make sure you can tolerate vestibular therapy. It does not all have to be done at once you can modify so many exercises to make sure that you’re not feeling worse.ua-cam.com/video/W_T6kDuiUKI/v-deo.htmlsi=3Wy_D57pGba3SD7K All the best!
There’s so many questions that I would have to be able to help advise you correctly. But have you gotten a diagnosis from an ENT or vestibular therapist? For patients with visual vertigo or PPD like symptoms I use a lot of grounding techniques and try to teach you how to ignore your visual input and try to focus on what your body and feet can provide. Can you balance on the foam pad with your eyes closed and complete tasks Without visual input?
Start by holding on to a Wall or chair with eyes closed. Byway it’s okay to sway! The challenge and learning is in the trying to make the sway as small as possible 😃 slowly decrease the amount of assistance you have in the hands and then when you ready work 2 hands to one, then eventually fingertip, then just feet! Could be a slow process- but keep working on focusing all your attention on keeping your weight in the center of your feet and focusing on what information the feet are providing about your balance
Tried this coz im having dizziness for some times now .when i closed my eyes i could stand but at times im leaning to my left and right. Can u please help me
Sure! Well, I’ll link a resource below, it really is one of the best resources I’ve written. Or you could go to my gaze stability playlist and pull from those exercises. But that might be a good option based on what you’re describing, or you can get an individualized plan and ensure you’re on the right track with an in person vestibular therapist. stan.store/TreatDizzinessathome/p/get-my-comprehensive-vestibul-recovery-program

I can easily balance form pad, yet I have 24/7 imbalance walking around along different vertigo forms, visual vertigo, motion sensitivity etc.....
