I did not know about this till I visited Thailand. I was surprised to see their version of Ramayana dance drama! They are more open to celebrating Hindu mythology and historical stories than India. I was surprised to see the huge Samudra Mandan tableau right in the middle of their airport! Their kings are called Rama the 1, Rama the 2 etc… they have their own Ayodhya .. You will see this in all of South East Asia.
India had an influence throughout the whole from Africa to Europe as far as America , to central Asia like Russia , Azerbaijan Armenian,to all the Asian countries, to the middle east, etc every corner of the planet as far as Aegean sea etc etc etc
