Yes, I think Thailand should have been earlier to become a more developed country than other countries in Southeast Asia, because most Southeast Asian countries experienced a dark period during colonization.
From my experience in Southeast Asia Overall, in many aspects, I love Thailand the most. Followed by Vietnam, Laos, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Philippines.
Thailand is the most famous and always top destination. Malaysia and Singapore are regions in central Southeast Asia that are close to Thailand and have modern urban tourism. If you are thinking about exploring Southeast Asia further, Indonesia and the Philippines are definitely the best places to explore. There are many hidden paradises in this countries. And Vietnam is emerging as a new attraction in North Southeast Asia now, and its various unique qualities are starting to become famous.
I think all of SEA is amazing but there is something in my heart when i go to Indonesia that is so special to me.. the people in Indonesia are so welcoming..but they are in Thailand as well..They are all wonderful beautiful countries and are such a contrast to the West..
My dream country is Thailand. I hope I can visit Thailand someday ~ Thai people are very nice and polite. Thai culture is amazing. I like Thai elephant chocolates (from Thai festival in Tokyo) I’m the biggest fan of Thailand! ! ^^From Japan 🇯🇵
Have traveled to Cambodia 1 time, Laos 2 times, Vietnam 2, Indonesia 3, Malaysia 3, Singapore 1 full day, mostly waiting for connecting flights. and Thailand 6 times, which is my absolute favorite country in Southeast Asia
I love these comparisons and chats. I have travelled to Malaysia 6 times, Thailand 4 times, Indonesia 3 times, Singapore 3 times, Philippines twice, Vietnam and Brunei once each. Obviously my favourite country is Malaysia and top 3 favourite cities are KL, Bangkok and Singapore plus Jakarta is in my top 10 favourite cities too. Food-wise, it has to be Thai food no doubt. The 3 countries that I will go again are Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand (and possibly Philippines). Of the islands in SE Asia, the ones I loved are Langkawi (Malaysia), Redang (Malaysia), Perhentian (Malaysia), Mabul (Malaysia), Sipadan (Malaysia), Koh Phi Phi (Thailand), Koh Lipe (Thailand), Koh Samui (Thailand), Railey although not really an island (Thailand), Boracay (Philippines), Palawan (Philippines), Lombok (Indonesia), Flores (Indonesia) and Komodo (Indonesia) but I didn't rate Bali (Indonesia), Phuket (Thailand) or Penang (Malaysia) that much
As an Indonesian, I have been to several countries in the SEA region and in my opinion Thailand is the best holiday destination, followed by Indonesia for me, then Singapore and Malaysia
I like Thailand the most. The country that has had its own identity for a long time. I like the culture, the people, the food. And now I'm enjoying learning Thai language.
i usually saw in the net that cambodian always trolling thailand by saying copyland. it's hilarious watching they argueing. haha. i like thailand too. especially peninsular malaysian oftenly visit Hat Yai.
@@Sam-yj6br Cambodia was colonized by Thailand more than 500 years. Thai culture influence a lot in Cambodia in the past until nowadays. Khmer speak Thai, watch Thai drama/movie, use Thai products/fashions, Many Khmer come to work as laborers in Thailand. They follow Thailand in every step. Thailand never been colonize we have our identity culture and long history. No need to pay attention or copy from nothing country.
The Philippines provides unparalleled travel experiences. Despite being somewhat isolated, many Southeast Asians are unaware of its wonders. However, those fortunate enough to visit the Philippines often find themselves enchanted by its beauty and charm, returning time and again to explore its treasures.
I've been to Malaysia. It's so beautiful, the food is delicious, the people are lovely. One day I'll have to go there again. I really love it. Love from Thai🇹🇭❤️🇲🇾
9:33 ☺ My top choices would be Vietnam and Thailand because of their amazing cuisine. While you can find delicious food throughout Southeast Asia, what I really love about Vietnamese and Thai cuisine is their skillful incorporation of a wide variety of vegetables in their dishes.
As a Malaysian Thailand: Easy to travel (end to end arrangement). Example, if you need to travel from Haadyai to Koh Lanta, they will arrange everything - van, boat, tuk tuk all the way to your final destination. So many activities as well even in Bangkok (cheap boat ride along Chao Phraya). And value for money. Cons: Communication Indonesia: Unbeatable nature from the volcanoes to the beaches. The non spicy based foods are to die for (Padang food, Lombok - ayam taliwang, etc). In Java, the long distance train systems are the best in SEA (in term of comfort, scheduling, and easy to buy the ticket). Cons: Be prepared to pay premium if you dont speak local dialect (example bahasa gaul/jakarta wont work in Bandung, and they are only 40 min apart by bullet train). My sundanese friend did all the talking as not to get cheated, lol Vietnam: Apart from hectic cities (HCMC /Hanoi), the rest of the cities are awesome as well (Ba Na hill, Da nang, Hoi An, Sa Pa, Ha Long, Dalat). As for the food, Vn has most of the healthiest (with good taste) food in SEA (Pho, Ban Mi, etc). Cons: hard to travel from one place to another, god forbid if you need to take the train which took forever. The people are not as friendly in general compared to Th Philippines: The beaches, some as good as the Indo one. Easy to communicate as english is spoken widely. And as a Malaysian, is safer to walk around especially in Manila without attracting too much attention as they will thought you're local. Relatively cheap to take the plane around. Cons: The food is on the bland side
When I was last in Indonesia I just kept my hat on and covering my eyes (head down) while I let my wife do the talking, but yes that is Java for you, they will try to get a premium if you dont speak the local dialects. With that said, surprisingly Bali was not so bad in that regard, the limited Bahasa Indonesian I speak plus my wife's fluent in it was always well received and no attempts at such price raises happened :D
Indonesia is very large, the costs for traveling throughout Indonesia can be for traveling to several countries in Southeast Asia. and each part of Indonesia has different cultures, traditions and languages.
Nice series of interviews here Chai . I think all the countries of SE Asia have plenty to offer and note that most interviewed here are well travelled around many of its countries which in itself tells a story regarding popularity. Thailand does generally get the nod as the most popular which does not surprise but Malaysia and Indonesia also get some of the votes too. Dan the man from the States was especially interesting to listen to. Well done champ 🤩
Nice one 😊 yeah I definitely can see why most people put Thailand at No1. Though hopefully everyone get to travel to other places in SE Asia as well as there’s so much beauty and it’s so diverse 😍 Thanks again again Steven 😁 haha Noona says hi btw :p she asked me something and I told her to hold on for a sec because I’m responding to Steven 😜 cheers mate. Happy Sunday
as a malaysian..out of 4 countries in SEA that i travelled, i choose Indonesia. i felt safe and didnt got scammed in there. (except 1st time experience volcanic eruption and got stuck extra 10 days in Surabaya)
Bangkok is indeed the main destination for foreign tourists in Southeast Asia, full of night tours, unique food and of course cheap. even Indonesians sometimes prefer to travel to Thailand compared to cities in Indonesia, because the cost is more expensive. especially Raja Ampat Papua, Raja Ampat Papua is more expensive than Bali.
I am Indonesian and have travel to all countries in SEA due to my work as a biomedical researcher and meet the people from the big cities to the remotest village. One thing I can say is that people in SEA are equally friendly & charming to their guess. The people living in the rurals will serve you the best meal they have that day while they eat the rest, and you cannot say no because the look of disappoinment in their face not to be able to provide you. In SEA a stick of cigarette or a bottle of water and a smile can bring you a long way. Even in the cities many people genuinely help you, although mostly not the tuktuk or taxi drivers. It is hard to say which one is the best simply because of the people there.
No, there are quite a lot. But we are trying to limit visitors to protect nature and we are developing part of it to become a tourism spot. Some of them such as Labuan Bajo, Lake Toba in Sumatra, Mount Bromo, Borobudur Temple & Prambanan Temple, pink beach Lombok and many other places. We don't run out of nature to show off but we choose to keep it.🙏🏽❤️
Indonesia is a tourist paradise if you know where to go. Yes they have not fully exploited their potential and is good in a way. They have beautiful beaches and diving spots unspoilt. Accessibility is an issue as the country is wide and spread out. I actually being to a place and I did not realise they have an unspoilt diving spots right in front of me. Reason they don’t really promote. The good point is their long coast line. The disadvantage of Indonesia is very few locals can speak English because they were colonised by the Dutch. Communication is an issue. Things are changing. People here are very friendly. Food is gorgeous if you love spicy food. Seafood is great. Of cause the prices are cheap to reasonable. I m not an Indonesian but give it about 5 years, you will see the tremendous changes in this country. Like most Asian countries, they got to get rid of corruption.
I like Bali, but Java is so much more to experience the true Indonesia (not saying Bali, Lombok, Flores, Borneo or Sumatra for example are not true Indonesia) but since it has the most people there and so many amazing places to visit like waterfalls, city's and all that good stuff it is impossible not to find somewhere you want to go to. But the truth is, not every traveller wants to go off the beaten path, Bali and Lombok are far easier for the common traveller to visit without knowing the language then going to Yogyakarta or Bandung for example, at least it is less intimidating, another reason why people's favourite is always Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam or Bali when I ask about South East Asia to co-workers who have travelled to SEA.
Been living in SE Asia for the past few years. My favourite places to live: 1. Da Nang, Vietnam 2. Phuket, Thailand 3. Bangkok, Thailand 4. Singapore 5. Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia That said, there's so much to see & explore and there's loads of places I haven't yet visited. Its an incredible region.
The problem is because tourists only goes to KL. Malaysia is sooo much more than that. KL is unauthentic, just a melting pot. people need to see more states to know the true side of Malaysia. where there's more locals than outsiders unlike Kuala Lumpur
I loved Thailand the most. It's crazy how people have a bad perception about SE because they consider it unsafe/3rd world. I roamed around at night and FELT SAFE. It really depends on the area!
As a Malaysian who have visited many places around Southeast Asia, my favourite city rather than country is Bangkok. Just so much more interesting for the tourists. It is a place I would return to visit every other year.
Hardest question ever, I would go with Thailand but Indonesia is a very close second to me, food is great, people are great, and the beauty outside of the big cities is great, but the edge goes to Thailand as I love Bangkok more than any city in the world, and this is where I reach an impossible choice on rating the rest as I haven't spent as much time elsewhere as in those two countries to form a proper opinion, it is probably due to how easy it is to travel in Indonesia and Thailand that they are the two countries I spend most my time in when in SEA, I suppose Malaysia would be my third if I give it more time, the Borneo side is super underrated.
Nice one mate. Hopefully you’re able to give it more time. I also like to spend more time in Malaysia and next time in Borneo ☺️ Thailand is hard to beat. Indonesia is also super underrated and Vietnam should be mentioned haha. Actually, every country in SEA is pretty nice 😎 thanks for sharing your thoughts
As a Malaysian, Malaysia is always in my heart. But when talking about tourism, it must be Thailand. and also like Singapore, Indonesia, Vietnam, Philippines, Laos, Myanmar, Cambodia, Timor Leste and Brunei. In conclusion, I love every country in Southeast Asia ❤
Malaysia has two part east and west malaysia ... east malaysia has two state sabah and sarawak ... best for their beaches and national park ... Mount kinabalu mulu cave sipadan Island many more conservation was top class but west malaysia bes 2:10 ide penang area ... tourism area was badly manage and it was boring ... due to religion aspect and political monopoly ... sad to say they lag of touris need of freedom and wants ... that the reason Thailand top of the chart.
I've been travelling for the past 6 months and just arrived in KL from Vietnam. I think you really nailed it here - my personal favourite is probably north Vietnam, with Taipei providing close competition in terms of street food. The Malaysians might be the best educated (in terms of English language too), but nothing compares to Japan. As you can tell, I'm a bit of a travel nut when it comes to Asia! Enjoyed this video, keep it up
Since when english become an indicator of intelligence? Last time i checked asian countries dominated in top 10 highest iq on the planet, and they do not speak english.
I am Indonesian and i think SEA asia is worth visit...our culture is kinda similar and people in Seasia is also very friendly... and all country have amazing culinary as well...please travel not only Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, Indonesia and Philippines but also cambodia, laos, myanmar, brunei and timor leste too...😊
Most of the time Philippines left out the most. I think it's because of the geographic position, you need to really fly to go to the Philippines. Unlike the other countries in SEA are much easier to travel especially the backpackers.
We don’t need more tourists please. It’s good that we’re not mentioned at all. Tourist can go abuse the resources of other countries and pollute them- not the Philippines. Let’s keep it that way.
as someone who from the SEA region, regardless of the answer they loved their country of choice, we got them brother & sister.. they like our food, culture, something new to see,the diversity in term of everything.. name of countries maybe differ us,but as the whole region,we winning the tourist coming over, eating our food, and treating them well ..
I honestly think Southeast Asia is the best region in the world right now. It's so safe, so friendly, so affordable. I know it is not highly developed as europe but that is also part of its charm, and the diversity is so amazing.
Each country here is different. Like in europe a German is different from Swedish or Dutch. Food, culture. But infrastructure is very big difference in south east asia. In europe most countries have good public transport. In south east Asia, only few countries have good public transport.

I'm a Malaysian. I've been to Thailand 3x(i think), Indonesia 4x(maybe), Singapore 1x, Myanmar 1x and Vietnam x1. My favourite place is Jogjakarta, Indonesia. I never liked big city. Never been to Jakarta, Ho Chi Minh, never experience Bangkok (only been to Bangkok International Airport)..when people said, "i like Kuala Lumpur"..my reaction in my heart was "ehh..why?" 😅 but i have to remind myself again that people have different opinion.
Ive lived and worked 7 years in malaysia, 2 in indonesia, 2 in singapore, and 2 in thailand and 1 year in vietnam. 1) Food and people in Thailand are the best, language is a challenge , learn a little bit of Thai. place is amazing if you teavel around. Bangkok is noisy compared to other cities like KL ans SG, but rest of the points make up with the benefits. 2. Malaysia is amazing, great food and travel spots. Neat and organised place, penang, KL, Melaka, Borneo, Langlawi are great places to visit. Great place to settle down. 3. Indonesia people are the best, found them to be content and happy with whatever little they have, been to Jakarta, yogyakarta, Bogor, Bandung, Pangandaran, Surabaya, Bromo and Bali. 4. vietnam places are good , mui ne, halong bay, hanoi, danang and HCM. 5. Cambodia was fine with angkor wat , havent travellwd much other than siem riep 6. Singapore is ok for a visit, extrememly expensive. But if you work there and travel around, then its great to spend with the power of SGD. Thailand is my favorite and Malaysia a close second.
Foreign tourist going to Philippines is on the rise now a days even Foreign bloggers are mushrooming in Phillippines and some are chosen the Philippines as their 2nd home and living permanently happy in Philippines
What do they mean about "authenticity" and "Asian vibes"? Every country in SEA is so diverse, it makes each culture rich and we celebrate that. They probably stayed in the most touristy places.
As Malaysian, I found that many tourists said nice things about Malaysia and also Thailand... Because most of them didn't go to Philippines yet... Once they go to the Philippines they'll said Philippines is the best... Especially the people...😅
I actually agree with you. I have been travelling a bit, include SEA. I would say Filipinos are probably the most friendly/helpful people in SEA region. Thai people are friendly, but I don’t remember they offer me the help. But I had few times experience that I needed something. Filipinos stopped and told me where/what to do. But I guess this is also because they are better in English? Maybe?

From my observation of your interviews in this video if you interview local Malaysians Their answers are for Indonesia because they have a similar language and are easy to understand between Malaysian and Indonesian. And if you interview the Westerners or the people who come from other countries out from ASEAN their answers are absolutely THAILAND. Because Thailand is safe, cheap, has good infrastructure (Better Malaysia now in 2024)😅 and kind people for sure.
As an Indonesian (exclude my country), I will pick my top 3: 1. Thailand 2. Singapore 3. Viet Nam (but not Ho Chi Minh tbh sorry, I like Da Nang, Da Lat, Sa Pa, and Ha Noi!)

Thailand has many tourist attractions in almost the entire country, not just Bangkok. Each region and each province of Thailand has different charms and beauty of tourist attractions that are attractive to explore.
It's Thailand. Thailand is not SEA level. It's global top. Malaysia or Indonesia can be no2 depends on people. But Indonesia is so vast n lots to explore. Vietnam closely follow.
From Thailand, I think every country has own charm. I travel Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Myanmar and Cambodia. I love all. I love cafe culture and vibe in Vietnam. Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore and their capitals have been in the top 20 in the world that received tourists arrivals in the past few decades. I've travelled all around Malaysia, but not Borneo, been to Singapore, few places of Thailand and only Jakarta in Indonesia, therefore, I cannot make any preferences. For now, KL and the greater part of KL in the Klang Valley is the best place on earth in terms of the best value for money.
Malaysia have most of the thailand foods. Even if it's a new thai food innovation, it would somehow find it's place in malaysia. On top of the thai foods, Malaysia have their own plethoric of original cuisines. This plus various international foods that can somehow be found in the country.
it's interesting to consider how "original" cuisines in various regions interact with and sometimes become overshadowed by other culinary influences. this phenomenon raises important questions about preserving cultural heritage while embracing cultural exchange, relevant in many corners of the world.
@@mdhzwn why need to be obsessed with original? Malaysia's food culture is a mixture of different food culture, as long long it's good, lets take it in into the mixture.
I'm a Southeast Asian, especially Indonesian, when I go to Thailand, I don't think it's that different from Indonesia in terms of culture, food and our daily lives. The only difference is the majority religion in every Southeast Asian country, and perhaps if there were no Arab traders who spread Islam in Indonesia, Indonesia might be the largest Buddhist country in the world.
It's means most foreign tourist who visited Thailand is just her backdoor asian neighbors countries such as Chinese and Malaysian..well you know very thrift for financial is concerned like plane tickets etc..

My top choices would be Vietnam and Thailand because of their amazing cuisine. While you can find delicious food throughout Southeast Asia, what I really love about Vietnamese and Thai cuisine is their skillful incorporation of a wide variety of vegetables in their dishes.
Nice 😍 good choice haha
As a Malaysian
Thailand: Easy to travel (end to end arrangement). Example, if you need to travel from Haadyai to Koh Lanta, they will arrange everything - van, boat, tuk tuk all the way to your final destination. So many activities as well even in Bangkok (cheap boat ride along Chao Phraya). And value for money. Cons: Communication
Indonesia: Unbeatable nature from the volcanoes to the beaches. My sundanese friend did all the talking as not to get cheated, lol
Vietnam: Apart from hectic cities (HCMC /Hanoi), the rest of the cities are awesome as well (Ba Na hill, Da nang, Hoi An, Sa Pa, Ha Long, Dalat). As for the food, Vn has most of the healthiest (with good taste) food in SEA (Pho, Ban Mi, etc). Cons: hard to travel from one place to another, god forbid if you need to take the train which took forever. The people are not as friendly in general compared to Th
Philippines: The beaches, some as good as the Indo one. Easy to communicate as english is spoken widely. And as a Malaysian, is safer to walk around especially in Manila without attracting too much attention as they will thought you're local. Relatively cheap to take the plane around. Cons: The food is on the bland side
Cool! Thanks for taking the time to write this :) have a wonderful day 👋😊
When I was last in Indonesia I just kept my hat on and covering my eyes (head down) while I let my wife do the talking, but yes that is Java for you, they will try to get a premium if you dont speak the local dialects.

That’s very well said mate 😃 thanks for this comment:)

Indonesia is very wide, but unfortunately the tourist destination is only Bali😮
Yeah that’s so true. Hopefully this will change over time 😊
Also, the Gili Islands in Lombok. Probably better beaches than Bali
My favourite places to live:
1. Da Nang, Vietnam
2. Phuket, Thailand
3. Bangkok, Thailand
4. Singapore
5. Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
That said, there's so much to see & explore and there's loads of places I haven't yet visited. Its an incredible region.
Nicely said mate. I like your list 😁

Westerners usually refer Malays as Malaysians. that super wrong, even though quite confusing and it's a trivial thing for some people, but it means a lot to us. malay is an ethnic, malaysians is a nationality. for example, malays in singapore are NOT MALAYSIANS, but Malay Singaporeans...
Never meet any malay in singapore.. 🤔
@@Catking696 maybe you are not in the area... 14% of Singapore's population are Malays, or approximately half a million people. Thailand also has around 3 million Malays.
Malay chinese indians ... we are malaysian
I dont like indonesia and malaysia
@@danilolabrador2595 up to you... No one forced you... No one care! Hahaha
Philippines top 3 tourist are south korea , usa, and japan. Expect the results from the interview.😂
👍
Honestly we no need to make a statement comparisons if you wanted to travel visit others country...the most important is which who you going..and i belive every journey have their best story
Meskipun indonesia dan malaysia sering berselisih, jika saya memilih liburan keluar negeri pilihan utama saya adalah malaysia tidak yang lain.❤❤
Sy juga memilih Indonesia sebab sangat dekat bagi sy
Ya begitu juga saya, sy dr.malaysia dn tdk akn ke south east asia yg lain melainkn indonesia kerana bahasa p cakapan kami saling memahami, lg pn kami serumpun... utk thai, vietnam, laos, kemboja or filipin i would not go there...
Pilihan ku Indonesia, Turki, Dubai, Mesir
Orang Malaysia kalo ke Indonesia pasti disambut baik, tapi kalo orang Indonesia ke Malaysia pasti dikata2in
Ini fakta
Malaysia levels above the rest overall. perfect balance of modern and culture. the diversity is unmatched. extremely livable which didn't get enough credit. people only view countries in terms of short term fun, aka vacation. Thailand is top in terms of solely tourism but Malaysia is by far the best to settle in. it's a whole Asia itself in one country
My personal favourite
Food: 🇻🇳
People: 🇵🇭
City: 🇸🇬
Island: 🇵🇭
Night life: 🇹🇭
Nice list 🤩
Vietnam food 😂
@@DonS90 spring roll, pho, Banh mi and much more.
Thai food is way too much herb used. I can’t taste any freshness of the ingredient. It’s also good, but I prefer Vietnamese food more.
Islands beaches and people are definitely for filipino. Most of them
Didnt go to the philippines.
Vietnam food.. really ?
That's absolutely correct when she mentioned about HCMC. SG is just a big city to live and work.
I love HCMC also for just visiting though 😊
Thailand and Singapore are my favorite from Japan 🇯🇵
Thanks for sharing 🤗
Many..Tourist..come to PH..choose to stay..and leave for the visa..and comeback again...made it as their homebase,for Southeastasean..travelling...
The Philippines is far behind in all spect with neighboring countries such as Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, etc! Very Rare foreigners know about the tourist attractions in Philippines. The famous tourist attractions in ASEAN, only Thailand and Indonesia, thai famous for bangkok and indonesia famous for bali
@@unclekumars8246 have you been to PH..?
Philippines definitely is the best destination because of the friendly people, cheap delicious food, great islands and beaches. I have been to Singapore twice, Thailand twice, Malaysia once and will go to Vietnam soon by God's grace. 😃🎉🥳
But mostly no one know about tourist place in philipines
Thailand and Vietnam is a very good and beautiful country to visit and especially foods but the only problem in this country are the problem is communication where majority don't understand any English.
China japan and Thailand . Don't speak englis .but top3 famous.😊
why they need to speak English, maybe you need to learn they native language
@@YGSnByes. for you and it's you. not china japan and Thailand🥰 . Most famous forever🥰
Traveled almost all over Southeast Asia. My favorite country is Thailand 😍
Nice one mate. Thailand is hard to beat :p glad to see and show all the other countries in South East Asia though 😍
Thanks
She said snorkling in Thailand is amazing. haha. Which part of Thailand is that? I thought Thai beach are not that clear to swim or dive. Maybe Indonesia or Philippines has more to offer.
Seem like you dont know much about Thailand ? Hahahaha
I like to see how people from other country show how their jealous Thailand because foriegner dont like or pick their country !!!!
@@SanyHand Excuse me, I been to Thailand 18 times. I have lots of Thai friends. My good friend met me in Bangkok last March for my birthday. He came from Pattaya. Don’t tell me about Thailand because that’s my playground since I was 19. Been in and out of that country. You don’t know what you’re talking about.
@@SanyHand I love Thailand. Why would I be jealous about it. You just learn how to shut up and respect others point of view.
Around Koh Tao and around the Andaman Sea :) not every day it’s clear though and unfortunately, like a lot of places, a lot of coronal is damaged.
I came from Switzerland and for me the best countries to visit in SEAsia are Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia and Vietnam.
Nice! Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Good to know Switzerland is watching 🤩
Switzerland is very beautiful
Switzerland is the most beautiful country in Europe among 8 or9 countries in Europe i had visited
@@piaklim3420 agree because of railway, alps, glaciers
@@keangwooichoo6138agree with you. Even the cities there are mainly surrounded by lakes, neat and tidy, very well organised country
my top 3 is
myanmar
timor leste
cambodia
I think Vietnam needs to fix up their traffic congestion problems if they are to attract more tourists from other parts of the world.
FOR ME SOUTH EAST ASIA is the best region in the world. They offer everything from futuristic cities , to ancient cities , to beautiful beaches and delicious foods.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts 😄
Top 3 cities :
1 Nha Trang 🇻🇳
2 Bangkok 🇹🇭
3 Bali, Lombok, Gili 🇮🇩
Nice list! Thanks for watching and interacting :D
As malaysian , my favourite is thailand , because as we know , malaysia very near with thailand , in johor bahru people can visit singapore , in borneo people easily can visit Brunei.. im proud to be malaysian 🎉❤
I reiterate, all countries in the world have their own attractions, people and places, food, art and culture, vibes, charm and beauty. Thank you for this video and interesting interviews.
Well said mate. I love to go to Borneo soon 😍 thanks
@@Chai_Travel That sounds good. Borneo is totally different from the peninsular Malaysia. Sabah and Sarawak have so much to offer. 😀
@@hix213 simpan sikit, jgn suka menunjuk pd orgramai..
@@Rulan-Zaha dia tak faham joke tu, kita2 je tau 🤭
Really? Wow
Nice :) thanks for sharing your thoughts 😁
SL is the largest Buddhist country in the world and where Buddha has actually visited.
Thank you, tourists.❤Siam has become Asia's most culturally influential country and a great country to visit in 2024. 🎉ยินดีต้อนรับ😊
What is surprising is that right now Malaysians visit Thailand in second place after China.
It’s so close by and so different :)
It's means most foreign tourist who visited Thailand is just her backdoor asian neighbors countries such as Chinese and Malaysian..well you know very thrift for financial is concerned like plane tickets etc..
@@TenCo-by9pf you're Filipino. Your English is supposed to be better than what you write. Do you know that in terms of tourism revenues, we're No. 4 in the world led by USA, Spain and France respectively?
I love Phuket, not the nightlife (been there, done that) but bcoz halal restaurants are aplenty and there are 2 mosques. Food esp seafood is delicious and it is reasonably affordable. Pharmacies are open until 3 am, some until 4am. Malaysia is right up there, a variety of food to choose from, English is widely spoken and it has beaches, mountains and natural parks too.
Yeah man, I'm with you. Phuket has it all :D Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts
Love your channel , thank you so much for putting out great contents . There are many criteria to evaluate the Southeast Asian countries . It also vastly different between vacationer and retiree that can be another topic by itself . In my opinion most vacationer wanted to get the most value and maximize there vacation budget . It can be from loading , foods, transportation , safety , entertainment , culture , scenery on and on . From my travel experiences this how I would rate them . #1 Thailand #2 Singapore #3 is a tie between Indonesia and Philippines #4 the rest of Southeast Asian countries .
Thanks for your nice words 😃 I’m glad you enjoy the vids and thanks for sharing your thoughts 😃 have a great day
Been to 12 countries in SEA, over all my 3 favorites are: Vietnam, Thailand and Luang Prabang (Laos). I'll never get tired coming back to these beautiful countries. 💙
Aw Nice one! I’m now only wondering now. I only count 11 countries 🤓 which county do you think I forget to count?
@@Chai_Travel ohh, sorry my mistake...

Haha no worries :p yes! It’s on mine too! Cheers :)
Borneo / East Malaysia is really totally different from West Malaysia...
This is a paradise especially Kota Kinabalu. You have the sea in front and the mountains at the back. People are very friendly. Very laid back place. Very relax. Clean air compared to other cities. If you love nature, it a wonderful place to be. Great place for photography. Want to propose to your girl friend ? Try doing it at the South East Asia highest mountain peak just before day break. Did I do it? No. Was not so romantic then. My son did it. He is a more adventurous guy. It’s lovely. Food here especially seafood is great and delicious. The pace of development is getting more frenzy. The old charm is getting chip off slowly day by day. Better you visit this place before the old way of life is gone. You won’t regret. Money guaranteed
Kota Kinabalu and Kuching are super underrated travel destinations which are so easy to fly to from KL or Singapore.
Landscape and Food : Indonesia
Culture : Thailand
Modern city Vibes : Singapore, KL and Jakarta
