The ancient Akhand Bharat or the Greater Bharat region (Greater India region) includes Singapore. *Wikipedia:* The English name of "Singapore" is an anglicisation of the native Malay name for the country, Singapura (pronounced [siŋapura]), which was in turn derived from the Sanskrit word for 'lion city' (Sanskrit: सिंहपुर; romanised: Siṃhapura; Brahmi: 𑀲𑀺𑀁𑀳𑀧𑀼𑀭; literally "lion city"; siṃha means 'lion', pura means 'city' or 'fortress').

In India we are very family oriented so its a kind of a thing to ask about the welfare of family and friends . You can talk to anyone in India who knows English and immidiately they will be friends but yes talking to a women or females its a little chalklanging ,indian males also have to be careful while talking to females .
that's why we have the higher rate of rapes in our society 😏, that's why we have the higher rates of depression problems in our society. that's why we have the most number of students who do suicide, that's why we have the higher number of domestic violence and that's why we have a dowry thing in our society and that's why we have the less ratio of males and females in our society, because of society respects females so much that they kill her in the womb.. so do I need to tell anything more how much we are family oriented society???😏. As an Indian i should say that India is still a poor country. Most visitors only see the big metro cities. That's only a small part of India. It's a country with 1.5 billion people!. It will take at least half a century for any government to make a serious inpact on the life of these poor people.

The Western World views India as a threat both economically and culturally. The West has been trying to keep India from thriving since the nation state of India was created in 1947. History is all there for us to read and see. They may not see India has "the enemy" (just yet) but they definitely see India as a threat to the dominance of the West and to US's superpower status. India is very quickly becoming the global leader in many industries and thanks to strategic geopolitical partnerships, the West loses while India gains. So, again, they may not see India as the enemy but they are damn sure keeping an eye on this "threat" and doing whatever is in their power to keep India down and under their control.

The West and East mainstream media puts down India all the time. Why do these media pull down India and not report anything that's good in India.

If BBC, DW or CNN want to make a documentary on Hinduism, there might be a Hindu intellectual from Mauritius who would be pro LGBT, pro Diversity and Proud Hindu.
They would not interview him because they would feel that he doesn't have critical thinking towards Hinduism.
They would only contact those intellectuals who hate Hindus and view Hinduism critically.
Then a documentary gets made which is anti Hindu and slanders Hinduism. Indians get irritated and they hammer these media outlets.
So these journalists then tell Hindus that they must allow dissent and promote critical thinking if they believe their religion to be progressive.

In India, people can live resiliently despite economic challenges; low inflation boosts our competitiveness as low-cost producers. I'm from India and when i see your video really I'm glad to see about your positive opinion about India❤

Edit: I am not sure about the advance payment in restaurants, maybe it is not here in Maharashtra, where I live.
Exactly, even I was a bit surprised about it. I know a place in Alibaug where we pay first, but that's because they usually offer the entire spread like whatever they have prepared for the meal and then there's less hassle later on. Plus, we're on good terms with the owner (she's a very cool old lady)
But I have never experienced pay first eat later in Mumbai. You can opt for it if you are in a hurry or something I suppose, but I don't think there are many places that do this. Unless you're talking about tea stalls or juice stalls or something.

Let's break it down: only around 30% of Indian families are considered middle class. This group's income ranges from about 2 to 8 lakhs per year. Are you telling me that someone earning just 2 lakhs a year, or about 17,000 rupees a month, is middle class? That's absurd! In reality, around 69.7% of Indians earn less than 17,000 rupees a month, and many of them have families. Can you imagine trying to support a family and live a decent life on 17,000 a month? It's heartbreaking!
Do you seriously think India is a wealthy, amazing country based on those stats?

Andy Lim is surprisingly quite updated and stated all the facts correctly. But I'm sure no one runs away, without paying, from a restaurant after having a meal - didn't know where he got this from ? Like Brazil. We are the 8th economy of the world, but we have a lot of poverty
indians are not poor if our people earn less we have everything here cheap cost of maintaince is very cheap .... poverty was there in india 20 years ago but now here people are superrich
But Pakistan and Pakistanis both are poor which makes me surprised.
Not really. Most Indians live a middle to upper class life especially in developed places like Mumbai nd Delhi where jobs are more available. Ppl are also veru educated hence the affordable and good healthcare system. It may not be the best but it's defininately better than other healthcares e.g UK. If all Indians were poor then we wouldn't have such a good stock market for investments. Again better than the UK. Most Indians have more than enough money but just don't show it. It's a cultural thing.
India is all about culture and family. We do respect people and families. We have best hospitality. We do see God in every human being. That's the one reason we ask about family.

Asking about family that is "How is your mom/dad/son/wife/daughter?" is must in India when we meet some relatives/known person.
As an introvert I don't have the habit of asking those personal questions to anyone. But my mom always scold me"Why didn't you asked about his family? That is not good...What he will think about you?You should ask about their family members what are they doing" etc etc.

The Western World views India as a threat both economically and culturally. The West has been trying to keep India from thriving since the nation state of India was created in 1947.

India is very quickly becoming the global leader in many industries and thanks to strategic geopolitical partnerships, the West loses while India gains.
