Yes, they will do to most people from the 'radio age', Joe. The first and last ones were American really, so the transatlantic infkuence was evifent even in the 'light music' stakes. The Leroy Anderson number is sometimes included in brass band performances
Yes much change - not all of it good! - as with most places in the world. Funnily enough, the area of inner London shown in the film (from around 1955) is Kensington (I'm almost certain anyway) which was quite prosperous then - you can see it in the large houses, well tended gardens and with some fairly luxurious cars parked outside. Now, however, it is even more high class, exclusive and expensive. You'd need several millions plus of pounds to buy a house there now. Best wishes!
