Hey thanks for the video! I'm in a situation where I need to make clearance to mount my ceiling but the garage door components are in the way. In your video around 3:22, I need to move the spring bracket up a bit (the bracket that is below the one you unscrewed for the motor), I wasn't sure if that was safe to do or the spring is going to kill me lol Was curious if you had any thoughts on that, thanks!

Your old ones I believe are Chamberlain model 450 openers which were made around the 88-92 mark.
The house was built in 89 so that would match up. Thanks for confirming my suspicion.
