What did you use as the spacing between the cleats?

I’ve had a couple Eufy’s (2 different models) for 2 years, and they’re garbage. They just don’t obey their settings, the ai facial recognition does the opposite of its claim of not triggering for frequent triggers from known faces. But it will only trigger on me but not strangers. The doorbell chime volume can not be adjusted, the doorbell simply rings out of nowhere in the middle of the night, the communication feature is too quiet to work and cannot be adjusted. And no matter how small I set the surveillance zone for, it just doesn’t care, you can walk right through it, and it will not trigger. And they can’t be made to constantly record. They’re literally garbage

I purchased a Lorex 2K Video Doorbell from Amazon in October 2022. I was generally satisfied with the operation of the doorbell, but after having it for almost a year, the doorbell stopped working. I found that the doorbell does not work if it is powered by an external voltage of 16V. I contacted Lorex - support (Ticket 516855). The complaints procedure with them is quite laborious and complex. However, they promised to send me a new doorbell, but unfortunately, I never received it. After about a month, they also stopped responding to my e-mails, and I found comments online that this kind of mocking of customers by Lorex - support is quite common. I recommend all potential buyers choose something else instead of the products offered by LOREX.

Hey thanks for the video! I'm in a situation where I need to make clearance to mount my ceiling but the garage door components are in the way. In your video around 3:22, I need to move the spring bracket up a bit (the bracket that is below the one you unscrewed for the motor), I wasn't sure if that was safe to do or the spring is going to kill me lol Was curious if you had any thoughts on that, thanks!

You inspired me to build two red oak bookshelves myself. I have been creating these bookshelves in the garage in my free time for the last month. I bought some of the tools you recommended and built the shelves in a similar fashion to you with a few dimension changes and minor trim changes. I am about to start the finishing process. Thanks for the inspiration, I think I am a hobby woodworker for life now.
