Singapore's street food culture is really so awesome and has such a big variety!! Something we discovered while being there was also a small sweet dish called Putu Piring that is still traditionally made by the owners and also was mentioned in a Netflix documentary. It tastes sooo good :))
I'll have a trip to Singapore this June. Your video is helped me a lot 😘😘 love you so much. Actually my English isn't too good. Wish you can understand what I said 😂
Yellow Hokkien fried Mee is a uniquely Singaporean dish... It's used to be known as Rochor Mee, it originated from Rochor Road area, a place in Singapore... Malaysia also have their version of Hokkien Mee which is slightly flat noodles fried in dark soy sauce but without the prawn stock.
For stingray and satay, not a big fan of Newton. Next time try Chomp Chomp. A little out of the way and it can get crowded, but it’s excellent food. Try the first stall on the left as you enter for stingray.
You guys should visit Malaysia 🇲🇾 I mean current wise. By the way Penang has the best char kway teow, cendol, prawn mee, laksa and etc. 🇲🇾 is a diverse country with its beautiful culture and history. Should definitely come and visit!!
Hi Emi! You should come to Malaysia too! There is a lot of wonderful chinese, malay, indian and mamak food! And lottttt CHEAPER than Singapore... In Malaysia, usually the hainan chicken rice only cost less than SGD 2!
18/20 of the fish are all my must eat when foreigns friend come to SG! Not that the other 2 are not nice but bcos I can’t eat prawn. S’pore is food heaven ! It can’t go wrong!! Hahaha!!
Hi Emi! Loved this video. I turned into a foodie on my first trip to Vietnam in 2017, so now I travel for food :-). I was thinking that when I visit Malaysia, since it's so close, I also visit Singapore. But since I like old culture and architecture and Singapore is very modern, the food would be my focus. From videos I've seen - it seems the food types and recipes in Singapore are very similar or the same as found in Malaysia for the most part. Is that correct? If that were the case, then if that is my focus, I should eat only in Malaysia, and not spend the time or expense to visit Singapore and visit somewhere instead?
Tian Tian chicken rice is overrated. The one at Katong is the best! The chicken rice @ golden mile is also good. If you love Char Kway Teow, the one at Hong Lim market is bomb!(:
Can i know that where did you buy those crop t shirts?? Those are so beautiful. And your fence is so funny and he’s so good. I think you can be happy whenever you’re with him darling. Wish you both happy life ahead guys. Love form Sri Lanka
hawker centre like; Maxwell, Hong Lim Plaza, Lao Pat Sat, Katong n Novena is the best place for street food :-) i think satay ayam indonesia better taste than singapore. hotel in Singapore quiet expensive
