Don't fall for the BBC propaganda. They are fear mongering over a potential war which they have made up in their own imagination. Why you may ask? Well, to help you to agree in banning free speech under the guise of not denying a genocide which on the surface may seem like laudable idea. Tomorrow it will be a ban on free speech on something else and so on and so forth. However their aim is to slowly be able to put bans on all sorts of speech in order to control the narratives. They also want to promote Islamist movements around the world because they are seen as a tool by the left / communist ideologues to dismantle present societal structures. Why do they want to do all this? Well they want to put into place their own utopian communist society run on their own principals later on in time. However they believe they need to break down political structures, culture, and society first as it will make it easier for them to move in and reconstruct society along their own plans later. They dont want to get their own hands dirty and believe they have found a useful force in Islamists. The plan is once they have used them to get rid of them afterwards. Similar gameplans have been used successfully and unsuccessfully by successive communist regimes around the world all through the C20. Yes, its insane but thats Communists ideologues for you. In the BBC they often came out of Oxbridge which was infiltrated by Commie sympathisers going way back in time. Beware.

Well since Young Bosnia assasinated the Emperor.....you got what you deserved....but I will say this, "young Bosnia" takes it insipration from Guiseppe Mazzini...and at that time the battle against autocratic monarchs and emperors was a real struggle. But the goal is not to break these powers, but to reform them, for we desire tradition over socialism and communism. The goal is an imperial federation with a round table of Monarchies, serving Mazzini's Nationalist International, with some constitutionalism to delineate a separation of powers between the macros and micro local democracy. I'm Bosnian, living in Sarajevo, I'll explain this charade: This year elections are in Bosnia, meaning if the corrupt/nationalist politicians want to retain power, they have to rely on ideologies from 30 years ago. Serbs do this by lies of secession and joining the Serbia, Bosniaks do this by placing themselves as the defenders of Bosnia and islam, Croats do this by lies of secession again. All 3 presidents regain power this way, while stealing from the country itself for their families. And they do this so the people forget how bad economy is, fuel is rising, basic living groceries have gone through the roof, the salaries are stagnating. So while people think that other constituent people are horrible, they forget whay the youth leaves Bosnia in the first place - we're poor, jobless, no perpective, spoonfed nationalism from our birth. If a war breaks out (if we all don't leave Bosnia for decent work, and life of the western Europe) our presidents are the FIRST to run away leaving us, the youth to kill each other for their agenda. @@jessicajujubean5004 You might be right. I'm not sure, but I don't think the conflict between them is very old. I am not very familiar, but I think that there were no serious conflicts between Serbs and Croats in the old days, and the territory of Bosnia was then in the territories of both kingdoms. In the old days, the wars in the Balkans were mostly between my country and Serbia. Until the 19th century, Croats and Serbs were friendly peoples, I would even say brothers. Bosnia did not appear until the 12th century, I don't even know if they are a different ethnic group or just because they live in the territory with that name. In my opinion, all the problems start with the creation of Yugoslavia. Instead of becoming one nation, they are moving away from each other because some want to dominate. I guess that's human nature and there will probably always be conflicts between them.
@@svetoslavstanchev9977 Indeed, there wasn't a *visible* conflict between Serbs and Croats until the creation of Yugoslavia. I've written a paper regarding how it started. Essentially Serbs were the only one with a functional independent state, and were much more eager about Yugoslavism. Serbs formed Yugoslavia, seeing themselves as Piedmont of the Balkans - the unifying element. Whereas Croats and other groups weren't so keen. So soon Croats emerged as a particularly strong opponent of Yugoslavia, which claimed to have perceived as "oppressors". The truth is that anti-Serbism was present even before establishment of Yugoslavia, which has its' roots from Austrian-Hungarian hatred. There were riots and symbolic gestures suggesting Serbs were unwelcome in Zagreb, but also Sarajevo. It was due to intoctrination/religious affiliation. Kingdom of Yugoslavia was a mess. Serbs were indeed dominant there (although not oppressive), with the monarchy being Serbian, which infuriated Croats. Despite that, Serbs were friendly to Croats, particularly those in Croatian lands. Croatians rejected Yugoslavism outright at a certain point. Over time, Serbs started making concessions, which ended in establishment of a Croatian corpus separatum in 1939. It quickly resulted in a proto-state being established there, with its' own paramilitary. Once Yugoslavia was crushed in Nazi invasion, a huge territory was given to the Ustasha, one of the most extreme terrorist racist organizations in history. They established a state which committed genocide of about a million civilians, looking at sheer percentage of population it was more mass scale, but less organized than the Holocaust. Mostly it resorted to unspeakably brutal violence, to which most Croats cheered to, or at least ignored it. It was not like Third Reich, where the most vile acts were a "public secret" - here it couldn't be hidden nor was it attempted to be. Everything after WWII is just history. This is one sided. What about Serbs' side of the story. I know some Serbs from Bosnia whose friends were killed but they were lucky that they had a Bosnian Muslim married to someone in their family, and they were spared, but their house was taken and they were expelled. @@bosniak2042 Don't try to insult my intelligence, ICTY is anything but an independent court, it's a mockery of international justice. And lastly, stop trying to hide behind the western community, that gravy train won't last much longer, your pathetic efforts at centralization have failed and you don't have the capacity to stop Serbs and Croats from leaving the increasingly islamist failed state that is Bosnia.

Dear gods.... I thought, hoped, we had overcome this. I remember footage from this conflict when I was a kid and it hit me hard - I remember having vivid, terrifying nightmares. You've heard wrong. Native Bosnian Croats, Bosnians and Bosnian Serbs are among themselves very similar and speak the same shtokavian language and primarily classified themselves based on religion few hundred years ago. When I say I'm a Croat to Bosnians or Serbs they always picture a shtokavian Herzegovian from BiH, a group of people that share a completely separate ethnogenesis, language and culture to Croatian cultures native to the Croatian soil prior to the 16th century migrations that speak kajkavian, chakavian and schakavian languages. However, native Croats such as myself from the north share almost nothing that doesn't come from new Yugoslav culture with those other groups, and nor do Torlak Serbs who share affinity with Bulgars and Macedonians (although they are Balkan via the Ottoman Empire and we northern Croats are not.) If we weren't forced to speak the shtokavian language as it is our national standard, we would be unable to understand eachother, and we share no history or culture outside the Slavic basis and Yugoslavia with those groups (us native Croats) - culture in ex Yugoslav regions is more regional than ethnic, it will depend on the region and so will language rather than an ethnic group, therefore Serbs, Bosnians and Croats in BiH will among themselves be far more similar than their ethnic counterparts in matrix countries, something double true for Croats but also for Torlak Serbs.
my family had to go through the first Bosnian war, I pray to God they don’t have to go through a second one in their life time. I wish for love and peace in my beautiful country.
As a serbian I can say that this is politician propaganda, we do not hate or resent anyone, peace and love and may history never repeat itself, RIP to all Croatian, Bosnian lives lost to those horrific events.
Still said that many serbians are saying thats all lie, but the fact that serbias politics were shit back then, not today better also, but yeah they still believe that the agressor wasnt serbia thus the Croatia Bosnia attacked themselves hahahha, for example they glorify their obvious war criminals while in croatia for example is forbidden to say anything about ustashe or their politics and the thing they done in ww2 under hitler, so basically serbia is the one thats bad in balkans, they ll never admit anything

Bosnia is such a diverse country, with lots of Croats, Serbs, Bosniaks and Herzegovinans. It's so complicated with the history and it's all also because of the Yugoslavia during the cold war why the Yugoslav wars happen, I hope this dosent turn into a big conflict, because we need to move on from Franz Ferdinand's assassination, think about this, that assassination has caused lots of things still happening now, such as North Korea, Russia Ukraine, India Pakistan, Iran, Yemen, Afghanistan, Somalia, Libya, Syria war, Isis, Kosovo dispute and much move, but that 1 drivers wrong turn has really changed the world so much.
The thing is that when a country has many different but sizeable factions like nationalities, ethnic groups with different languages and culture, then you dont have a nation state anymore, but a Yugoslavia type of country rifling with social fricrion and waiting to xplode. Same thing happened to India-Pakistani split and many other examples

What's the point of living together in a country where everyone hates each other? Its better to finally put this conflict to rest and allow every region to choose its path. This is literally what self determination is.
That is an illegal secession, not self-determination. Take it from someone with a university degree in law, illegal secession and self-determination are far apart. Self-determination is given to people under oppression (i.e. people who are denied religious, political or cultural rights). Those who are not oppressed have only an illegal secession at their disposal which is an illegal act of breaking away from a country. Self-determination is a legal act of breaking away from a country. Nationalist Croats and Serbs are not being oppressed in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Therefore they have no right to self determination.
@@gfaris92 Your definition is completely bullshit. Nobody ever says that you must be opressed to demand freedom. The reason Serbs are denied self determination is because its simply inconvenient to NATO.
@@S0umin That is the thing. In the case of Czechoslovakia, or Yugoslavia or USSR what happened was a dissolution. So it was okay. A dissolution can happen only if 2 or more states agreed to create a bigger state, a federation or confederation. All the states that became independent after the dissolution of Czechoslovakia or Yugoslavia or USSR were already states before joining the country they broke away from. In the case of Bosnia and Herzegovina there is no states within it. The Serbs never had an entity (an autonomous administrative unit) before 1992 and even then it was just a proto state until it was recognized as an entity within Bosnia in 1995, not as a state. The nationalist Croats do not even have an entity. They had a proto state just for 2 years, from 1992 -1994. So there is no dissolution that can happen since there is no states within Bosnia. Only thing that can happen is an illegal secession which is not the same as a dissolution.
@@gfaris92 So, by it's legal definition the whole process of dismantling Yugoslavia is an illegal secession, right? No one in former Yugoslavia was under oppression. I have visited Bosnia 3 years back, Sarajevo is such a unique place. May this place have longing peace, the people deserve it.
The great Catholic Emperor is soon approaching...and he will smash many nations engaging in such foolery, in the name of the primacy of Christ, and a family of Nations.

Serbs do this by lies of secession and joining the Serbia,
Bosniaks do this by placing themselves as the defenders of Bosnia and islam,
Croats do this by lies of secession again.
All 3 presidents regain power this way, while stealing from the country itself for their families.
And they do this so the people forget how bad economy is, fuel is rising, basic living groceries have gone through the roof, the salaries are stagnating. We also had a girl in high school who was a foreign exchange student and was here when the war started. She managed to be able stay here because her homeland was now dangerous.
I am from the Balkans, but not from the former Yugoslavia. I was very young when the war started, but I remember that even in my country people were scared, even if we had nothing to do with the conflict. For us, these people are absolutely the same. They look the same and speak the same language, which is different from ours, but understandable enough. The only difference is the religion - Catholicism, Orthodoxy and Islam. I do not understand why they are constantly fighting with each other? My country is mostly Orthodox, but we also have a lot of Muslims, also Catholics, and we live normally with each other.
@@svetoslavstanchev9977 it does seem silly that people fight each other over trivial reasons. I get the impression that they have ancient grudges with each other. Like theyve been fighting for centuries and just can't let it go. Neither will take the first step to make peace. Its kinda sad because people dont need to be this way
@@jessicajujubean5004 You might be right.
Groups full of resentment for each other. Muslims became a relevant factor in the whole game only after WWII.
@@svetoslavstanchev9977 Bosniaks as a people do not really exist, as a separate ethnic group. They are descendants of Serbs or Croats in one part.

@UnSatisfied I don't disagree that the US and Western Europe should keep ours dirty hands out of other's business, but I disagree that would fix most of the world's problems.
At least, the US and Western Europe could enjoy some of their own wealth without squandering it in foreign lands "fixing" other people's problems.
We fled in the last minute from the Grbavica suburbs in Sarajevo. Both my parents are from Muslim families but that really meant nothing since both my parents dated croats and serbs, befriended them and celebrated their holidays with them. My mother even sang in a choir that often sang Christian songs and orthodox songs. Unlike what nationalists claim, normal people didn't dislike each other's backgrounds and never cared for religion. Many were mixed, and even during ottoman times families that converted had sometimes only half converted. We are multiethnic and have especially in bosnia a lot in common. Even when the war broke out my parents best friend who's half Serb helped us out. A Serb family even hid some other relatives of mine. Just like there are countless Muslims that hid serbs in ww2. We shall never forget the victims of the war, and the perpetrators that did horrendous things no matter what side, but I've had enough of the lying and smoke screening. It's time for every side to have a democratic dialogue and no politician warmongering to do the talking with propaganda and fear as a tool

We need to remember the atrocities on both sides, otherwise reacting to “ bad guy” war crimes by doing “good guy” war crimes will be justified in public view.
Exactly
That's what western media has been doing since the war started
That's right both sides Croatia and srbija . When you have two country's pushing to disappear one in the middle and killed over 100,000 people about 75 % of them were civilians ,what do you call that ?

Ah, the previous works of the USA and NATO are now slowly unravelling and manifesting itself suddenly.
If Serbs attacked Bosnians? How is it a NATO work? Tensions existed in Balkans for thousands of years, yes powers like Russia or US can support tone or the other side, but they arent the ones creating conflicts, in the end, it was ethnic conflict.
Face the Serbian genocide or you will repeat it.
yeah, Balkans were created by NATO :D... say thanks to USA, NATO and EU for this period of peace in Balkan history
Because one war wasn’t enough 🤦♂️
As Croat I know that all the younger generations are sick of hearing people still talking about the jugoslavian war and we are ready to move on for a bigger picture which is stability and progress in the Balkan region. War is not the solution to the problem of these few Balkan countries…the problem are the politicians that don’t really care about the people and that we don’t see as leaders that speak from the hearts and want to help the community and economy. I don’t even understand what will be gained from another war? Can someone explain please
There will never be peace where Islam is involved. It is their intent to overcome and the intent of everyone else to stop them.
BBC is pure propaganda. They will do anything they can, so we can go in war again. Fake news, fake media.
And now imagine if neither the United States nor NATO had existed in the 1990s, the Serbian Republic would have put the squeeze on the Bosnians and Croats by military means and would have won through genocide, and only military bombings stopped the victory of the Serbs, but this will not continue forever, the time for a new war will come because that there is not enough land for 3 peoples
I agree with you
Many thanks!😍😍

After seeing the devastation with my own eyes in 1996 around Gornji Vakuf and the surrounding area it was shocking to see houses not touched then you seen the neighbours houses completed destroyed riddled with bullet holes.. I still have a spring on key ring from the spring factory where we were staying as a reminder 😢😢😢
Im from Gornji Vakuf
Bosnia always looked to me like a small version of Yugoslavia. A land with numerous ethnicities, all hating each other that fought each other in the past. When Yugoslavia disintegrates no one in the west shed a tear. Yet everyone seems to freak out at the idea of Bosnia partitioning on the ethnic lines.
That is because Yugoslavia was a union of countries. Bosnia is a country consisted of different people with its borders pretty much the same since Bosnian kingdom.
Balkan being Balkan.
I am from Bosnia, and this country literally gave me nothing, just fears about war from time to time, so a new war is unlikely, it's just propaganda.
People don't understand, who is gonna even fight, the average age is just rising up from year to year, because every year a lot of young people are leaving the country, last year ~170000 young people.
This country has no future, I'm hoping to leave the country as 99% percent of the people here, no one wants to go through this shit again... And all because of the same people, the same government
I hope someone hears this out
I know people in the US, Canada, Australia, Newfoundland, Germany, UK, and Austria ,(And I'm in Ireland) and all of us want to flee our countries because we don't recognize them any more! The problem is where do you go? There's no where left!
There are plenty of Serbs in Serbia and RS willing and ready to finish off the genocide they started in early 90s.
A šta si ti dao za državu? Sram te bilo I četnici imaju stav
Why don't BBC never go to see families of Serb victims, it's always portrayed so one-sided. Let's remind us that war started in the first place because of Bosniak separatist ideas and actions, and first victims were Serbs not Bosniaks (first big masacre was on Serbs in Sijekovac in 1992, 18 Serb children killed, beside dozen adults). There were thousands Serb civilians killed, women raped, and still Western media only talk about victims of one side. I'm not even talking about Serbs only, go ask Croats about their relatives killed by Bosniaks.
@Roc exactly bro, they don’t understand how it feels for a whole group of people being denied their history and culture. Only if they actually gave evidence rather than making spontaneous claims all around the place and victimising the oppressors.
@Roc There is no 'their' land. Made up shit-land by NATO, so they can install military and suck out resources.
It's a land grab, and the war hasn't even started yet. Retaliation will be massive, never seen before.
@Roc Those were Serbs living in Bosnia not Serbs from Serbia. Serbs live in Bosnia for centuries, long before Ottomans came.
Why should CNN go to serbian families victims ? Every war start from Serbs and serbian families "victims" got what they deserved
carick235..where to find them?? even RT can't find your fantasies with Serbian victims loool
