  • 02:32 The Bizzarrini 5300GT Revival Corsa was unveiled to the public for the first time at the London Concours of Elegance, which was held for three days from September 2nd to 4th at Hampton Court Palace in London, England.
02:50 This Bizzarrini 5300GT Revival Corsa is a continuation model of the Bizzarrini 5300GT Corsa that won the 1965 Le Mans 24 Hours race. The 5300GT Corsa, which has been revived in modern times by the reverse engineering method, uses an integrally molded dry carbon body.
03:15 The Bizzarrini 5300GT Corsa, created by the collaboration of two maestros, Giorgetto Giujiaro's beautiful design like a work of art and Giotto Bizzarrini, who demonstrated his talent as a genius engineer, is the best performance and engineering excellence as a race car. Many spectators were fascinated by its low, sensual and streamlined design.
03:46 The Bizzarrini 5300GT Revival Corsa exhibited at Hampton Court Palace this time is one of only 24 continuation models that will be reproduced and will be delivered to the lucky owner after the event.
04:04 The beautiful spider model here is the Bizzarrini P538.
It has a midship V12 engine designed and engineered by Giotto Bizzarrini.
The body design drawn by Giorjetto Giugiaro. It has an excellent aerodynamic shape, and the beauty of its styling is outstanding.
04:58 At London Concours of Elegance, Ferrari and many other sports car makers from classic to latest models gathered and competed in the competition in a very glamorous mood. The main exhibited vehicles were Ferrari 250 GTO, 250GT SWB, Porsche 917K, Maserati A6G Zagato, Aston Martin DB4GT Zagato, Lamborghini Miura SV and Countach.

Bizzarrini made one of the fastest and best cars of their time. It was surely ahead of its time before completely disappearing into thin air.

First of all thanks for the English subtitles… Engaging content from beginning to end, well done Yutaka. Why does Bizzarrini have American engine though?? Why? Makes no sense.

Well,I'll try to answer to your question...Back in the 60/70es a bunch of italian brands were there on the market selling high end cars mostly Gt cars and fewest luxury saloon cars.May be you have knowledge of Iso Rivolta and De Tomaso,
      Indra Intermeccanica and obviously Bizzarrini
which were the best known of those manufacturers targeting the exclusive market of high performance sport cars challenging the big players in that class as like as Ferrari and Maserati. In essence the main problem for those little yet highly esteemed entrepeneurs was about the engine:a powerful, reliable and affordable engine was needed,
providing power, torque and speed performances up to the renowened traditional marks both domestic and exotic as like as Aston Martin,Jaguar and Porsche. The fact being that Ferrari wasn't willing to sell his engines whatever the money and Maserati V8 were way too expensive while offering nothing but a just decent performance.
Thus, the only way to go was installing a big american V8 being the project and production of a homemade engine way too expensive in all respects.
