    I can never get enough of your prep videos; I wish they were longer showing a long progression of the fossil going from mostly obscured by matrix to mostly exposed as you work away on it. Probably not what others want, as to some people watching fossil prep is like watching paint dry. One summer I went to the Royal Tyrrell Museum of Paleontology for, like a week, every day. as they had and still have a window in the wall between the museum display area and the shop and all of the Paleontology students from the Universities were in the shop, prepping full size Alberta saurus bones as well as a bunch of other smaller fossils, and every day their work was progressing further and further, it was such an incredible thing to see progress as it was being worked on by the students. Makes me almost wish I had gone into Paleontology instead of Med Lab. But not quite. LOL Keep up the great work Mamlambo!

    When you were talking about the fossil after prepping you had it upside down, the tail is partially exposed on the side with its fan shape (and the segments taper towards the tail) looking at it at 7:24 the tail is towards the top of the screen

    • @Lilith-Rose
      @Lilith-Rose 6 місяців тому +1

      I'm pretty familiar with these kind of scampi/lobsters since the meyeria magna lobsters are one of the more common crustaceans I find here in the uk, and you get used to orienting them especially when most of them are partial specimens or only partially exposed
