Wow, never in a million years did I expect to see a shoutout to my alma mater, San Diego State University, in one of these videos at 9:07! What a treat. Thanks again for another fun video
Neat boots, your own velociraptor, fossilized critters every where, petrified wood. Wow did I miss anything. Oh, yeah, you animated a seal. Your a wizard. Keep having fun , and stay warm and dry.☔⛈🦖🦕 😷⚒
Mamlambo your awesome ,such precision when you are revealing what's inside these fossil rocks, so much knowledge, what a place earth was millions of years ago
Great to see you out and about. Your boots are really gorgeous - dry.snug and warm. Your weather looks about as hectic as ours was a couple of weeks ago!
Thanks so much for your wonderful message Tirol! I'm really glad you're enjoying the videos and I hope you do find a fossil while you are taking your dog for a walk 😁
0:41 dry them well before storage and shove a pack of reusable desiccant for good measure. Both of the big finds are amazing, bummer you weren't there for the crab to get the other claw as well, but still, it's a stunning specimen. Super curious about the jaw. The other bone parts kinds threw me around, before you showed the picture. Nice hunt!
* Hooray for Kind person who sent Insulated Boots.. Sweden would need to keep snow out of the boot, so that should be great for you.. Kindness of Strangers is Awesome.. ~ Nice to find fossil in Clay.. Hope you find More. Clay lots easier than Prepping Rock.. ~
The valosa raptor is going to be cool but what I'm waiting for is the bone cluster that's going to be awesome thanks for sharing this with us six stars brother
Another great insight into the past, have you been able to figure out roughly how big the Turtle is yet in comparison to the head you have?😁. Still waiting to hear back about the bone I found on the shoreline. Will let you know if I find out. Regards Richard 🇬🇧
Oh my goodness again and again l will have 'seen' or walked by this on my own beach but just didn't know what it was. You're some sort of brilliant. One day l will send you my most likely 'it's a thing' specimen. The Tusk? Eh?? I could cry, likely will... hey who is it who does those scans please? Are they NZ based?
Very cool. At this point in the video ua-cam.com/video/W9WgE3wo_UM/v-deo.html to the left of the bone concretion is a tear drop concretion. Turtle skull like in shape with a dark spot on the back. Just because it looks skull like (I've seen similar shaped skull concretions where the 'nose' pokes out and creates a tear drop look) and I'm always looking for the fossil beside the fossil in your videos! I'd have probably hit the tip off just to see if anything inside.
You are finding some super cool stuff. Where do you live? You may want to check out Mudfossil University? He's love to see your stuff. Thanks love the finds!
Can’t wait to see these prepped! There aren’t many people on UA-cam who film fossil prep Timelapse videos, so thank you for sharing it with us
My pleasure! I think because it takes so much time to do the video in addition to doing the prep
Oh wow, printing a velociraptor! That's one of the best uses of a 3d printer I've seen yet.
I've printed a moa as well!

hahaha awesome! They have some great articles!
Those are some really intriguing finds! And some nice boots. 😁
Thanks for sharing another great adventure, sir.
Glad you enjoyed it!!

Hahahaha thanks so much Sandmaker! I always appreciate your comments 😀
Another vacation for me and no Passport. Thank you for dragging that huge stone back for all of us to see after you open it some more.
My pleasure!!
Quite a bit of flooding! That skull piece you found is amazing.
A good storm always uncovers new material 👌 👍
It does!
Mamlambo your awesome ,such precision when you are revealing what's inside these fossil rocks, so much knowledge, what a place earth was millions of years ago
Ahhh I really appreciate your kind comment, it made my day! Thanks so much!
Those boots are awesome! What a gift! Cool video as always😎
Thanks so much! Yeah, those boots are so warm and comfy!
Thank you Sweden for the warm boots.
Sooo comfy!
You have a great eye for it. Lovely little piece of Tusk
It's a type of shell, very cool little thing!
@@MamlamboFossils a shell Tusk.. Wowsers, thank you for mentioning that. I was thinking perhaps a walrus Tusk
Loving the 3D printing. You find some amazing fossils.
That rostrum is a way cool find.
Thanks Gordon! The CT scanner is pretty cool as well, it's so nice being able to see into the rocks.
@@MamlamboFossils certainly will be able to prioritise which fossil should be prepped first and others to leave.
Great to see you out and about. Your boots are really gorgeous - dry.snug and warm. Your weather looks about as hectic as ours was a couple of weeks ago!
Thanks so much Anne! My feet were the only part that was warm 😂
Another fantastic find can not wait to see what emerges
Thanks Jayne!

Wow! That road in the rain! Brave man. Nice bones.
Awesome Morne as usual!!!
Thanks so much Rick!!

So much easier and those boots are so nice to wear!
All around so much awesome stuff happening in this video!!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thanks!
Wow, thanks so much for that, I really appreciate it 😀

My pleasure Joseph!
Some really nice fossils !
Hope your not too effected by those heavy rain storms and floodings 🙂
Nah, we were all good
that CT scan looks exciting.
It's a game changer!
Yoo this so cool, keep doing your thing!!
Thanks so much!

Hi Richard! The shell would have been 1m in length 😁
I've always wanted something like the raptor but covered in real metal paint, like copper or iron, and left outside to patina with rust/oxidation.
You can do electrolysis with 3D prints!
cool raptor
Thanks!!

Pacific Radiology are really good and have some really nice scanners
🌱🌏💚 KiaOra from Hawkes Bay. Treasure hunting after stormy weather & flooding is the BEST! 😊
Ah I didn't realise you were in NZ!

Oooh I'll have to go back and check it out!
Bruce that's really clever putting the link in at the exact spot you were talking about😮
Was that some bivalve hash in the background of the petrified wood?
Quite possibly! There are so many fossil shells on this beach!
✨
Hay brother 🤘
Hey bro!
Could it be the bottom jaw of a mosasaur? Or more likely a marine mammal?
Ahhh, I asked before you got to that part in the video!
It's too young in this area, only about 6 million years, so would need to be about another 60 million years older
How do you get those CT scans? Do they have to be significant enough finds or do you pay for them? Getting a CT scan over here in the states is hard.
It's part of the community outreach that Pacific Radiology do, the radiographer does it on their own time
Those boots look jolly good. Do your feet agree?
My feet are loving it!
واقعا زیبا❤️❤️
Could the jaw /mandibles be hip crests?
Not in this case, its more likely to be part of the rostrum
@@MamlamboFossils Some day I’ll get one right. 😂
Do you sell any of your fossils? I’d love a fossil crab!
sorry, I don't sell any fossils
Tusk shell?
Yip, there's a wikipedia article on it
You are finding some super cool stuff. Where do you live? You may want to check out Mudfossil University? He's love to see your stuff. Thanks love the finds!
I made it lol
Between your accent and talk of crabs... Can you sing "I'm so shiny" for us??😅
I sing terribly 😂
That would greatly enhance the experience in my opinion!
Bro looked at a 50 pound rock no big deal lets take it home
Every day is leg day when you fossil hunt 😃
Sorry but all I see in the thumbnail is @videogamedunky
😂
Nice hoof.
