Hi, so for some reason Distrokid doesn't have my band in the select option other than myself, even though my band already has a single out, so I can't register my band as an artist channel. Any way to fix that?

I noticed my music has a stand-alone page on "UA-cam Music". But then I have cheesy videos of my last two albums on a dedicated UA-cam channel. I just made this connection through DistroKid. Do you know if this is going to take that "UA-cam Music" page and add it to my old dedicated page?
Hey bro, If I already have a topic channel and make money off of that instead of my regular youtube channel (because my region doesn't have youtube red/premium) and after the topic channel merges with my youtube channel, will I still be making money and getting payouts via distrokid or will the videos become unmonetizable?

Is it possible to change the youtube artist channel, i mean, to connect distrokid to an another youtube channel that is made just for music, and not to our old one if we want to change and use a different channel with a different mail created specifically for music ?
the thing for me is i did that and it still wont upload my singles to my artist channel it all still gets posted to the topic page for some reason

How long does it take for the topic channel to go away?
So once you have absorbed the Topic Channel auto-generated videos into your own now-upgraded Official Artist Channel, can you finally edit the videos that come from the Topic Channel? Can you control if they run ads and who collects revenue?
Unfortunately no - you can only see the analytics minus revenue, you can't edit anything
i have tunecore but im pretty sure you can answer this question: Can i unlink my youtube channel and link a different youtube channel to tunecore?
Will this remove the songs Distrokidd has already uploaded on the Topic channel? Or will they convert onto the new channel? Thanks for the tutorial btw
Sorry, it looks like you've already created an OAC Channel for all artist slots on your DistroKid account. To add additional artist slots, upgrade your plan. what that means pls help

does it merge your subs from the topic account to your main?

do you have to upload 3 tracks to the youtube channel *before* doing this process? distrokid automatically uploaded my previous releases to a topic channel
No. You need to have at least 3 tracks released with DistroKid. Once you have the third one release then you'll see that drill-down option and then you link your UA-cam channel with DistroKid and then you check your UA-cam channel and right close to your UA-cam channel name you'll see a icon and if you put your cursor on it it will say "Verified Artist Channel". Apart from that, of course, your UA-cam Channel must have some videos available otherwise it does not make sense to verify an UA-cam Channel without any content on it. Cheers & Best Regards.

Unfortunately no :/ you have to go through a distributor, so you might have to ask DistroKid
I have been waiting for three months
had to change my name because UA-cam doesn't allow special characters, just a heads up if you have special characters in your name on distrokid you have to change your name on UA-cam before being able to have an official artist account.
I had one. I took it out but it still says the name doesn't match... But it does match!! Kind of stuck here now... Any suggestions? A hug!
