My man!!! Exactly what i did!! I just quit a toxic, 7 year relationship, started calisthenics have better nutrition than ever, doing handstands, swimming, and it feels awsome!! As you said, i owe it to myself, after 15 years of ups and downs with crohns disease.
Unfortunately, one must reach the bottom to realize what's really important, or not!! Take care of yourself, not today, NOW!
YOU ARE THE MOST WORTHY PERSON OF YOUR LIFE!

. . . . for ages the Masters have all gone up the Mountains to bring the truth down to men, and all found that it* could not be brought down! Each man must climb up the mountain by themselves!
You brilliantly articulated this. Saw a video of you playing with your Mum, it was surreal - it took that to remind me I hadn't seen an adult [child] play on the floor with their mother; can't describe how rejuvenating and inspiring it was!

Thanks Anogoya. Always look forward to your comments. Yes, unfortunately to me that's the hardest part of the teacher- you can't actually 'climb the mountain' for anyone but yourself- all you can do is give advice about how to do it, which mountain to climb, and the purpose of this video; inspire them to try. Cheers my friend, keep climbing :).

Thanks again for spreading the message and my huge respect brother. We were excelent in moving before we even form languages. People are suffering from overthinking and movement is the antidote to that. Movement is not a physical but a spiritual process. Mindful movement is pure science and happiness. There is no happiness without vitality and vitality without movement. Your body is you. Learning your body brings self knowledge. Movement is not for athletes, it's for anyone who seeks happiness. Movement is the way.

I have never exercised or moved much. After an accident and a broken pelvis, i sat in a wheelchair for about 2 years. I was lucky, it was not permanent, i worked and trained my way back into life. But from this 2 years ive learned, i would have sold my soul to leave this wheelchair, just for running and jumping around. But how precious your body is, you realize it mostly first, if it is gone. Now i can move again and i tell you, the best reason to move the whole day is because you CAN. Dont destroy it, you will regret it.
Thanks for your videos Bren and hopefully more people will see them and understand, how important their bodys are.

So many people in the fitness world never address the existential element of exercise and health, I myself tend to overly focus on its superficial and utilitarian elements. To explain something so profound in such a digestible way is so impressive, proud of you brother!

Dude, this video is awesome. 'Your body is not yours. Your body is YOU". Exactly the same ideas that drive my taijiqigong classes, and, right now, i'm diving into movement culture and your great channel. Thanks!

Thanks Fred, glad you can see the depth. I figure before I start telling everyone how to move I should start with why It's so important. Sorry I've been so busy lately but I'll get back to your email shortly :)

I mean...the car analogy kinda doesnt work, cars and musical instruments are the only two appliances that I know of that are considered to be more than the sum of their parts by most people but I digress
