I'd be more 70's/80's New Wave of British Heavy Metal (NWOBHM) Iron Maiden - Black Sabbath - Motörhead. tho I'd find it complex to compete with the 60's. Beatles, Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin etc those 60's/70's/80's decade generation had the best music in any genre era 😁

I am too (54 years) not very into modern metal but Gojira is on a different level.
Not into the old heavy metal but its one of those things that you Can dislike but have to respect for the sheer influence it had over the years
