we make gum products with extrudes some quite large ones Ive seen all types of different elements on the screws the tips would probably break in out application due to the high viscosity of what we make. interesting video. thanks
It can have any number of hoppers depending on what and when the different feed has to be added to the mixture.But it can definitely have more than 1 hopper.

Extruded noodles, laser cut waffles, milled cookies, lathed lollipops, cast chocolate and bent sheet candies... That's what we'll eat in the future.

It is not like water. It's extremely dense even in molten stage. And it's only the gases and water vapour that comes out.
