Operation of an Bühler extruder, showing different sequences: assembling of the screws, start-up, production, emergency stop, automatic screw push out, recipe change, shut down.
I almost cried while watching this. After spending all my savings to buy a mini extruder that produced nothing, while my fishes are hungry. I gave up, but after seeing this, I will keep pushing forward, I will get this machine one day.
I work with similar machines but larger and less... optimized. Our die faces are two piece, and the barrel slides off the screws instead of the screws pushing out. We make all kinds of cereal like fruit hoops, dots, puffins, and tons more. Everything is manual though, like to start the machine up there is no start process button you manually turn the screws onto the right speed, at water and liquor, then start adding powder until you reach the correct amount in the run conditions then send it through a huge toaster, into a huge bucket elevator then into totes. We do like 100kg every 10 minutes.
We make Dog treats and cat treats /food. Our Extruders are probably 15 foot long. Some even larger. Funny watching this video and seeing this tiny machine. I operate both Twin and single screw
I used to connect the extruder machine at CFAM Technologies but I have seen it in different parts I still want to learn more about the extruder machines

I have used the extruders for many years, the devices have been kept great every day, the brand is just Brabender !
Can we make a regulation of temperature on extruder ??
I run an Erema with a few Brabender dosers, so they make extruders also?

We have two Polytwin extruders at my work. Excellent machines! I like the cutter box on this one better than ours though.

Do you sold Extrusion machine for produce POM rod?
Do you not use purge material???
Wish there was an easier technique to cleaning these. Try removing plastic burn from a 150 lb screw and 7+ die components.
