I have an high food allergy to brewer’s yeast. That is soooo difficult for me!

It's so nice to find ways to make 'creamy' dressings that don't use cashews for those keeping our fat low.

Doesn't Cesar dressing usually have anchovies which you naturally can't put in vegan dressing but could you add a bit of nori, kelp or even miso to add the extra bit of umami flavor that the sardines add to regular Cesar dressing?

Any time I've tried mixing nutritional yeast and plant milk, it is foul. Maybe it's just me since so many people seem to like it. I'd replace the milk with probably a can of cannellini beans or something. One of the white beans with a mild flavor and it'll probably need a little water to thin it out a bit.

Want to let you know (I only recently saw this): to sour the plant milk it must be from fresh lemons not bottled--if you don't have it just go w apple cider vinegar; rice & hemp milks won't curdle (not enough of something?--sorry, memory fails me). You might need lemon for taste too in your dressing recipe?---maybe just add a bit in addition if one has to use vinegar.... Thank you for your work!
I always use fresh lemon juice, so not sure on this.

Steamed cauliflower should work nicely! You just need a starchy veg to thicken the dressing.

I just watched a video on a different channel for a ranch dressing using potato and milk vs. cashews. I love both and think I will adapt yours to make a ranch too. Thanks for nut free. Cashews are expensive!
