    Oh my gosh. I never, never thought about making a mango dressing. I love mango in my salsa but never, ever thought about a lime dressing. My Tribest should be here tomorrow. Very, very excited. How do you keep your containers so clean and unblurry? I find my Vitamix container just gets so worn and I'd love to avoid that if possible, with my new Tribest. Thanks again. I love your videos. And your outlook. I agree with that, not to stress over an ingredient. Cheers, Ivy.

      Vitamix container may get worn, but the motor goes on forever, which is that part that really counts:)

      @@angies4145 Vitamix is the best big blender I've owned, hands down. But for me, I don't fancy the fine hair cracks in the container or the foggy plastic. LOVE the machine though. But now I'm excited to get a small Tribest but I would, if possible, like to keep the plastic in better shape. So if anyone knows how to do that, I'm all ears. Thanks and cheers!

      @@TheHappyWhisk I wash mine in the dishwasher. Add TSP - trisodium phosphate to each load. Your dishes will be spotless and not cloudy

      @@rcfnc Thank you! I don't have a dishwasher but I can for sure look into TSP. Much, much thanks for taking the time to help out. Cheers, Ivy.

    This dressing tastes like a melted creamsicle. Yum. Substituted a little salt for the miso. Really nice on salads and cole slaw.

    Im going to make this right after my morning walk! Too bad hubby cant try it though, he has a nut allergy. 😥

      @Equinox1.5 3 роки тому

      I wonder if you could add some soft white beans instead of nuts? That sometimes works as a cashew replacement. Haricot (Navy), for example, or cannellini?

    • @Equinox1.5
      @Equinox1.5 3 роки тому

      Or some silken tofu might work really well instead of almond butter or other nut butters. Nice neutral flavour but a good texture, too.

      maybe sunflower seed butter (or just sunflower seeds)

    • @cookingwithplants

      Just leave that part out... or use some tahini if he can have seeds :-)

    can we skip the almond butter to make it even lower in fat?

    Looks delicious. I just bought my first mango of the season last week on my weekly lockdown shop (further south on East Coast Australia in Sydney). I just realised I hadn't used the mango yet because it's been out of season for winter 😊

    Looks really delicious and I'm looking forward to trying this recipe. Thanks! One critique though (not trying to be rude), please use a small utensil (or even the spoon you used at the end to taste with!) when adding the ingredients to the blender; I'm sure your hands/fingers are clean and everything, but it was so cringey watching you use fingers to empty the little dishes for some reason!
