Seresto Flea collar made my Papallions neck sore, and it was on her 3 months and Fleas still got too her bad.

I used that spray for my dog juts now because she had fleas after sprayibg her she went crazy running around and i guess its because the fleas were biting like crazy but immediately after she was not scratching and biting herself anymore so i think its working well now

I know that the Seresto Collar works but this time I got them and my dog has ticks everywhere so I got a refund and tried Advantix and it didn't work and I got my money back. So I guess I will try Frontline because I use to use it but my dog got immune but that was a very long time ago.
A lot of comments saying what doesn’t work but not mentioning what does work....are we all just doomed?
I have determined that Frontline or Frontline Plus DOES NOT WORK anymore. I've also used Advantix which no longer works either.

I just purchased the Pets Best Flea and Tick Spray, made an error and purchased the Cat version, can it as well be used on my Dog (I dont have a Cat)?
Also you talk about application to your pet and working it into the skin, but you you need to just comb your pet afterwords and or wipe your dog after aplication or simply let dry and then comb your dog?
Lastly I have heard people say it can cause Hot Spots on some dogs, have you had this happen and if so do you still recomend this product?
Oops one more, what about open wounds or scratches the pet has made. My dog has a spot on her tail and it is healing but the hair has fell out and it looks like dry skin but there are times she bites at the spot causing a break in the skin. She has other locations as well that she has lost some small spots of hair but no skin markings, mostly sure to scratching. My dog is 7 years old and never had this issue. But she does get a CYTOPOINT shot at the Vet every 90 days for her longtime scratching problem unrelated to Flea and Tick issues. Any guidance would be helpfull. Thanks.

vet's best has left an overwhelming smell throughout my house. i barely used it in one room over some of the carpet and where the dogs lay. windows and fans have not helped get rid of it yet and im not sure what to do

Seresto Collar flat out doesn't work... it's so convenient, minus that important detail.

As a doggie daycare/dog border, I don't recommend Seresto collars especially for multiple dogs.
Why? My 2 Huskies hasn't bite them 😅
During play I can't tell you how many times they've been torn off, and then the chemically treated collar becomes a toy that is chewed on. A very small zip-tie where the strap fits into the collar helps alot. Just my experience.

Frontline is an expensive waste of your money, cheap treatments work just as good if not better.

The spray yes! Make sure to reuse after pet is very very dry and work it in to your pet use gloves !
As the vet about baths. They don’t recommend a bath once a week depending on breed because it dries out their skin.

Ask your vet about Revolution. It works great on my 3 years old dog. My sister purchases Nexgard for her dogs. It's effective and becomes cheap as she purchases it from some online store called canadavetexpress.com. So, consult the vet prior to changing treatments as the location does matter sometimes.
I use the pills i bought on ebay tedrad caps by Mr Fle killer.. there cheap depend on the weight on your dog. I bought 50 pill for 20. Sorry i just check on ebay they sold out. Check out on ebay with alot feed back then it good. I was very frustrated but now i dont worry no more.
Never had a flea or tick problem when living up north in the mid-west using Frontline. We moved to the deep south and Frontline was ineffective. I switched to Advantix II which works much better, but my poor dog developed an itch, he was miserable. I purchased this and love the way it smells. Time will tell whether or not this will work - I am very hopeful and am all about using natural products.

OrisLover what she means pick one out of the 3. You can't use all of them at the same time.
You would want to do it as the bottle says. Depending on what you use. But you definitely don't want to give a dog a bath more then once a week or you could dry their skin and have another whole problem on your hands.
Was she sponsored by these three products? In 2018 there are edible products and tons of other options. She is hardly touching the varieties.

Frontline does not work. The best treatment on fleas is to use Adams flea spray, then then wrap up a shirt on the end of a pole, cover it with kerosene and burn out the areas your pet sleeps.
