African Leather is my nose's first dip in the house of Memo Paris. First sniff, this one did well. It's not an animalic leather but it's a spicy one that is blended well.

Damn Marc, you were not joking when you said you were gonna take your time with it before doing a full review
Just bought this MASTERPIECE... One of the best frags ever made.
Interesting review! That's exactly why I want to try African Leather because of the spices.
Great first impression and I enjoyed it and I'm gonna try it have a blessed day
Hey Robes i just bought this baby yesterday and as u said the spices isnwhat made me fall in love with it nkt the leather. One of the best cardemam notes i have ever smelled.
Marc, by the way, what is this background sound of the video opening? Excellent video, as always!!
Real good scent and great overall performance....
Tried and liked very much. Long lasting.
Excellent review.
I quite like Moon Safari from this brand. Interesting vetiver with nice complexity and good blend.
Recently sampled Marfa which is a beautiful tuberose scent & French Leather , I didn’t smell much leather mainly rose.
rene loves them i think.
I own Tuscan and Ombre leather, would you say this (African Leather)is as good of quality and siliage or similar to the Tom Ford Leathers?
Not as prominent leather then the Tom's imo. The quality is there but it's more about blend here tbh while the Tom are always great to emphasize the primary notes this one does not emphasize the leather.
@@robes08 thank you
Hey folks, I was just wondering if anybody thinks that John Varvatos Oud is damn near a clone of African Leather??
I didn't correlate both of them but since I have em both I'll go back to them and see.
@@robes08 Awesome! Maybe even do a video about it. I have a sample of JV Oud and HAD a sample of African Leather and, to my nose at least, I think they're a lot alike.
Not even close... who said that?
i dont know it bro :(
I want to hear your take on dior leather oud
I think I remember he loves it because it's immense. Alas, the new formulation (a "new fragrance" according to dior *bullshit* ) is fucking disgraceful
Masterpiece
I know im in the minority here, i really didnt like this one. Something in there was funky as hell and i detect very little to hardly any leather, the spices hijacked the fragrace. Moroccan Leather and Irish to me are masterpieces
Anyone tried the African Rose? I have smelled it! It's amazing. Goes for 500 bux
