Yep I’ve got African, Irish, Oriental and Tigers Nest and have samples of most of the others including some I still need to try. The only one that I don’t love which I’ve sniffed so far is maybe Moroccan.. man that’s the most dry and arid scent I know. I like dry scents too but that’s next level dry. Have you tried it?

actually i just got one yesterday, I'm trying to understand this perfume more, cuz it sound so mysterious sexy and its sooooo luxurious , i cant put it on me cuz i still trying to understand it to give it the vibe she deserve .
Even tho Leather is in the name, Leather plays a background role supporting the fragrance, but it’s not a Leather fragrance in my opinion. Anyone coming here for a Leather fragrance will be disappointed.
As a collection, they have some amazing fragrances all of which have weak performance, except this one. Performance is very veery good and by far the best.

I own both. African Leather I love to bits and so does my partner.. but the Italian Leather is my guilty pleasure and my partner couldn't be bothered with it.

I got a discovery pack with a few leathery Memo in it (Irish, French, African & Russian) and I liked none of them at first. But when I revisited them one year later... I really enjoyed it !
Since then, I got travel sprays of Irish Leather, and I just bought some of Italian Leather (this one will be a blind buy) . Waiting for good opportunities to buy others from the line, Russian Leather or African Leather above all ^^
Interesting that these didn't hit the mark at first (especially Russian...really love this one), but great choice with Irish. I find that African is an easy love, but if I had to choose I would go Russian....I find that this one is a lot more versatile.

@@TheNicheFragranceCollector Just sprayed Sicilian Leather on my arms. I think two sprays are enough. 😅Okayyyy ... bright leather ... very masculine, citrusy, spicy leather. Citrusy only in the opening, and the spicy leather stays. Wow ... it's only 11am here on a summer morning. I was curious, couldn't wait anymore. But I'd rather wear it in the evening, on a night out. I just need a leather jacket and a motor bike. And a bar with some drinks ... 😉
I tried to check several Memo Paris fragrances today (stayed away from smelling the whole collection to not go nose blind or freak out from liking all of them). I liked Morrocan Leather and Sicilian Leather the most (followed by african and italian). what's your thought on those? Morrocan Leather had a very nostalgic scent for me which I really liked and the quality of the smell... amazing
I love Italian Leather.
African Leather, not so much. Reminds me of Terre d'Hermes EDT somewhat (not a favorite of mine).

Italian Leather is amazing, but have found that not many people give it a chance to settle and play on their skin. Whereas in most cases (not in yours though) African is a crowd pleaser. Very easy out of the gate. Thanks for your feedback @Tyrone E, appreciate your comments👊🏼

Big hey from Serbia, your descriptions are great and i like your work. I love Memo, its probably in top 5 of my favorite houses and i have tested almost all Memo perfumes and my favorite from leather line is Moroccan Leather, its similar to Italian just it has some animalic note that i like a lot. On other hand Winter Palace ( that one isnt from leather line ) its soft, refreshing and creamy pure unisex... Highly suggest for test. P.S i love African and Italian Leather too and for the end i can highly suggest one more, im sorry, but thats stronger than me :D because im deep into world of fragrance. So my last suggestion is Ganymede by Marc Antoine Barrois ( you will love it or hate it ). Gl in future work.

I see that you do have a deep love for Memo, and I would have to agree with you that they are an amazing and diverse House. Have you tried Ocean Leather? (I’m guessing you have ☺️). This one is also a favorite of mine….I have done a number of reviews on the channel on the House of Memo.

I only watched a couple of your videos ( i plan to watch most, only when i catch free time) and i immediately saw that you have great nose and skill to turn a scent into a words. Ganymede creates a sense of synthetic but is fresh, unique, amazing... Give a chance to that one :) Ill recommend you one more, its pretty expensive (unfortunately) but its a layered bomb that everyone falls in love with, and thats Rock Rose by Clive Christian from the Noble Collection. I have tested over 200 niche perfumes and that one doesnt belong to the challenging group by my nose, but from other hand i have tested a lot weird and challenging perfumes like Amber Kiso by D.S. and Durga, Tigers Nest by Memo, The Night by Frederic Malle, Karagoz by Nishane... This isn’t one that I’m familiar with @Mon Noir. This one is part of the ‘fancy pants’ collection and we don’t get these here in Australia. I too would be interested to know what these are like.

@@TheNicheFragranceCollector you keep introducing great content. At first, though I've owned Italian leather for a while since it was released, I've never thought of it as summer fragrance. Been applying it during Fall and Winter. So I gave it shot in a sunny regular warm day, and it doesn't disappoint. I love leather scents and finding one that fits summer is quite challenging. Looking forward to your next episode. As @Nicolas Padilla commented you really do "dissect the fragrance" and many lack this feature to explain a perfume.

I got the new batch of African leather, where you have the new presentation with African map and book shaped box, performance horrible, scent still one of the best, one of my favs, but performs like trash literally 10 mins splash like wow, and then settle down directly into a skin scent, which is really disappointing for such price the performance shouldnt be an issue at all, but thats how it works, they always do that after a success of any cologne, sell good batches get the hype and then sell any trash they gonna buy it, but scent still fascinating, sadly i wont be using it much, idk maybe only for myself to enjoy the skin scent that i bought for almost 400 dollars, I hope someday we will have the right to sue those companies for such fraud acts, but not today .... cheers
Wearing both right now, one on each wrist, as I bought samples. I hate to say it, but there's something in African Leather that reminds me of a cough syrup I used to get as a child (not sure of the name, could it even be Robitussin?? I really don't remember). But, mentally, if I can get myself to stop thinking that way, THEN I love it. It's warm, bright, but not sharp, it's round, soothing, sings from your skin, comforting, colorful and really does remind me of what the spirit of Africa might be like. It's inviting, and the dry down is killer. Solid Like. Really wish I knew which note is making me think of the syrup though. With Italian Leather; very green, but necessarily fresh, a bit complex, and when he said chocolate, only then did I pick it up, but it's definitely there if you focus on it, in the middle. I could see wearing it on a cold day. And African Leather for a spring, or cooler summer day or summer night. In really hot weather it might be too much, but it's pretty glorious right now. Thanks for breaking down the notes, and I learned something new about leather; didn't know it's actually just silver birch tar oil! Now I want to smell that all by itself and see what I think.

And yes, agree with your summary as to when these would be worn...this is how I enjoy both of these fragrance's.
If you're interested in 'leather' and the Memo brand, I would recommend to you Russian Leather, absolutely incredible and this one is easily an all year round fragrance (a bit more masculine leaning in my opinion, but I would be interested in your thoughts)

Man ! You should be working as a Marketing Personnel for Memo Fragrances. But just a question to you, do you feel Italian Leather has also a Better Projection than African ? I dont know why people love only African Leather. But Italian Leather smells just gorgeous. It Takes you in another world !! Maybe Fragrance Made for the Greek Gods. Not for the Human Race !!

Italian Leather! Top note is Marinara Sauce. The dry down is total smell of pizza and garlic bread. What can be more Italian than that? Not a hint of anything else not to mention leather accord. Can’t wait for Onion Leather or Horseradish Leather!
I first tested these 2 and 2 more leather based fragrances from this expensive niche brand.
The one I loved most was the Italian Leather. Even 2 months later on paper the only one that I still could detect.
I went for a 2e opinion, since most people prefer African Leather.
The 2e time around, same outcome and then I bought it.
I have tons of leather based fragrances. All the famous ones and a few lesser popular. It is my favorite note. I even have Shalimar EDT & EDP and, obviously Knize Ten. My favorites being PdM Godolphin, TF Ombre leather and Acqua di Parma Leather ECC.
Italian Leather stands out because it is really different. Subtle. In particular different than all those Tuscan Leather types.
Love memo , but let here talk her own meanings , you are guiding her answers and inturupting her constantly , i Think her meanings are alot more important than yours . Just my 50 cent , keep it up :)

No way! Funny you feel that way. I actually think the graphics on their bottle are really unique...I actually like them a lot.
However, my wife would agree with you. She too isn't much of a fan of the Memo bottles either.

Here, in the South Eastern U.S., to my eyes the packaging looks...I'm not sure how to say this, but looks as if it is being marketed to the lower educated half of a very specific demographic group here in the states. Think "gangsta rap" and Newport cigarettes. Which makes me really curious about seeing such things through the eyes of a non American. Lovely channel you have, I'm enjoying it.

It's so funny because for me I love the packaging and find it really unique (nothing like that in Australia). The face of the bottle is actually a copper plate that has been screen printed on it. Plus the bottle is nice and weighty. So up close the whole thing looks nice (plus the actual box is leather stitched)
