interesting take, some scents do disappear in the high heat as you said you need to find the right scent that's simple but last ages, the warmer it gets the better the scent gets. For that reason the ones I chose did excellent on my skin, but you are right some just act like scented water and are poof gone !
Yes Pamplelune is very unisex. It's very simple grapefruit scent. It's from the Aqua Allegoria line which are made to be simple but of high quality notes.

I hear ya , many of my friends in the community tell me Yuzu is probably the worst of the Caron line, I gave it a shot and wore it quite a few times and liked it. Thanks for watching !

It was really interesting watching this list. I live in New Mexico, where summers are both very hot and very dry (Avg. humidity in the thirties), so if the cologne is too transparent, you might as well not be wearing anything. For that reason, I tend to put denser summer fragrances at the front of my shelf and experiment with the number of sprays.
Next time you do a top 20~ or something with lots of fragrances, can you include your "How many sprays and where" take? Would help a lot for those who don't have time for the full in depth reviews. Thanks! :D

Great Vid Marc...Love Dior Homme Sport 2008, it's my #1 I have the 2012 version now and I think it's a bit smoother than the original and you'd think that that that should be a good thing however, I think the grapefruit and ginger combo in the older version gives it an oomph that the later version lacks. They're both still good though...I think with these two frags your preference will be determined by your personality.

it was also one of my best purchases, I remember not liking the 08 version that much and was going to pass by this version back in 09. Glad I did not.

the tops off Issey Miyake scents are very thin, so they have a small space at the top to fill in that void in the box so the fragrance isn't shaking around.
Love the format of your videos how you break everything down in case your looking for specific information. People bitch about how long your videos are but you break everything down in such an easy to navigate way that the length really is a mute point. If i want to watch the whole thing I can, if i want to skip through or see your top 10 I can. If i want to look at your other top lists, you have it all there to easily click on. I don't think people compliment enough about your easy to navigate format.

Hey Marc, how's it going man? I just wanted to make some recommendations to you on a few fragrances. You should definitely try Dunhill Desire Red and Mont Blanc Individuel. Those are some really underrated jewels that not many people talk of, especially Dunhill Desire Red. And they're really cheap for what they are. Give those a try, you won't be dissapointed. Mark, I know this is gonna sound crazy, but you need to check out the new Axe Peace! It smells EXACTLY like the original Fahranheit! It's dirt cheap but worth the money if you're looking for a Fahranheit replacement for the fraction of the cost.

that's ok 2K views and over 60 comments in 24 hours shows that people do want to see it. You are kinda right anyway, I'm hoping to do Fall lists in October so seasonal vids will be sooner now rather then later.
it will be hard to find now, it's been so long. 2012 version is very close to 09 honestly so you can grab that version if 09 is too hard to find.

Thanks for the reply! Out of curiosity, are there any specific fragrances you prefer when humidity is low but heat is still high? For those days, I've mostly just pulled out Fall fragrances like Xeryus Rouge and Pure Havane,
Also, I really enjoyed this video. It felt very down to earth and sincere, like a general discussion of what you wear and why. It gave me a short list of frags to try and a few general ideas to consider when purchasing a new fragrance.

Never tried Issey Miyake summer 2009. Must have now become a collector's item thanks to topping your list 4 years.
Every time i watch one of these top 20 lists i get a bad feeling of dejavu. They must take you so long to compile but honestly, if you've seen one you've seen em all. Little changes from year to year and for the amount of time and effort they take i gotta ask is it worth it? There are hundreds of fragrances in your collection begging to be reviewed!!!! Maybe just a top 10 Spring/Summer and Fall/Winter, no class restrictions so they could feature both designer and niche. Just my thinking :)

And oh yea, give us ur take on Mott Blanc Legend. In my opinion, if A&F Fierce is targeted, and worn, by the younger crowd then MB Legend is Fierce that just graduated college. It is very similar but it seems richer and deeper than Fierce.

I'm interested in that Cartier Eau (Orange) but can't seem to find it anywhere. The closest I can find is Eau De Cartier Zeste De Soleil which looks familiar. Are these the same thing?

Have you smelled Paco Rabbanes 2013 cologne is called Invictus its good.
Can't agree with Yuzu Man. I adore Caron, but this release is shockingly disappointing. The citrus opening dissipates after fifteen minutes leaving an incredibly powdery and dusty dry down that itself lasts no longer than two hours. Great video, Rob.

Dude a question?Obviously you dont get that #1 perfume easily so i just got the regular pour homme today...its good....but i see there is a small rectangular space inside the top portion of the box....do you happen to know what that is for???
Do they give free samples/vials of perfumes in that space....
i bought it from a local store so was a bit nervous when i saw that space and it was empty...please reply

yes they are legit, just remember you get what you pay for. That site is known to screw up orders, maybe 1 out 5 you might not get what you ordered, the box might be ripped, the juice might look like it was returned and sprayed a few times. cx service might not be the best. etc...

There is alot out there that is better than CC No1 trust me, yeah its good but just because its the most expensive doesn't mean its going to be out of this world they want people to buy its called marketing, alot of arab houses sell really expensive privet frags with pure oud in it which is worth every single cent, like i said CC is an attention whore and they are all about marketing
