If this seventy three year-old eatery located in the temple complex in Udupi had its own currency, it would have to be the Goli Baje! Widely acknowledged as Udupi’s most favourite snack, and a must-have for every visitor, each plate is fried fresh, only upon order, to perfect golden crispness. Perhaps the best goli baje I have ever tasted! And keeping it good company is also a delightful banana bun, more commonly referred to as the Mangalore Buns.
