5:43 Some insight into the Jasmine or Mallige as being referred here. In Mangalore/Udupi region the most common Mallige one would fine is Bhatkal Mallige or Shankarapura Mallige. The one that you see here is the later. The unique fragrance & quality of flowers has earned a GI Tag for it. Shankarapura is a town that's about 10 km south of Udupi. The Shankarapura Mallige is always tied with plantain stalk and not strung together by a thread as against Bhatkala Mallige. Hence its termed auspicious. It usually comes in a pack of 4 Chendu (more familiarly know as 1 Atte); 1 Chendu on an average has 800 buds. The rates for the same are decided on a daily auction at Shankarapura & based on the Supply & Demand the rates vary. During the off-season, the rates for 1 Chendu could be as low as ₹50 & during peak season the rates could go up to ₹1200 - ₹1500. Phew... That's it from a local lad from Shankarapura/Udupi!!!

Best episode. Soo many memories refreshed. Thankyou for this. Due to this episode any time I can watch this beautiful region and its amazing food. Lovely food. Lovely region. Lovely people
The arial shots of the Delta Point are amazing. Such a beautiful place.
Your local guide is the best so far in this series.
Great work 👍🙏
It’s always worth mentioning that Harish Sir’s travel channel doesn’t seem like a UA-cam video at all. In fact, if the video has a 3D mode, we will literally travel with Harishji.
That’s how beautiful it is when he takes us through the Journey.
My best wishes.....
Delta Point is so magical!! Food looks delicious. The temple is beautiful. Love the way they cook food, partially cooked to preserve nutrients. Healthy eating 😊. Thank you so much 🙏🏼. Love from Dallas ♥️

Dude then how will their propaganda work. I am from delhi and i get so angry because in north we only fight and do hindu muslim whereas all the development and cultures is only in south India. We need a south indian prime minister. Its high time
@@varun2440 nice joke

Thanks a lot for this information
