Maybe I missed it, but in your diagram of the pistons TDC movement what are you showing on top of the engine. Pressure built up in the case releasing and then a flap closing after the pressure releases. Where is that flap located and what is it called?
I think you are referring to the crankcase breather. It shows when the pistons are moving back in, a pressure will exist in the crankcase, and that pressure you get out to avoid oil leaking from every crack. It is not part of this content really.
