After playing guitar for 41 years, I decided to take up drums. Thank you for your channel. I have learned more from you in a short period of time than I ever thought I would.
Did you guys catch that? Out of the blue, Terry asks us, "What if I get hit by an anvil?" Cracked me up so I watched it again. Then, I catch his falling anvil gesture and THEN the Wyle E Coyote 'squeeze box' impression. Double funny, Terry. That's just part of why we (well, me, at least) enjoy your channel so much. Your stream of consciousness can be hilariously epic when you are trying to put a finer point on something you're doing. Well done! And, thank you.
Thanks so much your videos are wonderful. You take your time to explain everything so nicely and I can see all your drums perfectly. You are just incredible, so funny and great hair!
Great lesson Terry! This one comes somewhat easy for me but that is because although I am right handed I've always led with my left foot on double bass so the upbeat is already on my right foot. Now I can call that my Bonham Engine instead of just me being weird! Thanks bro!
This is the second Video of yours that I watched. It is broke down in sections to where I can actually attempt, practice and soon apply. Good teaching and playing Technics. Makes me wish I had a better speaker on my phone. I will hookup my blue tooth speaker, that way I can actually hear all your drums. My cheap speaker is only picking up the Snare when you start playing. Keep up the awesome work and keep on rocking!
This promotes ambidextrous-ness and is one of the most important exercises, ever!!! Seriously, it brings the two sides of the brain together, harmoniously. Ive yet to achieve this, but its got my gears turning in an interesting way. Thank you!!
What's the largest crowd that you played in front of. if you don't mind me asking. Not that it matters I always give my ALLLLLLL .NO MATTER where Iam practicing at home or a HUGE CROWD!!!
Right on Zoli. my first chop. Called it the Bonham Thing. Next, When the Levi Breaks. I think now, I got really interested in Kashmir, the Immigrant Song, I'm 58, so you know how it is. Just kind of Binge on a tune for a while the step back for a minute. Anyway Bro, Keep It between the Ditches
You watch Da Bears🐻, or maybe even the Blackhawks I assume. You know how someone takes a cheap shot, it's not called, but the guy who retaliates ends up with the "personal". I somehow got the personal. That being said, I may have got the last case of Paiste cymbal cleaner. If you want to share a bottle of cleaner, and protector w/George, I feel I owe you guys that much
I could do that at 8:55, cuz I play Dnl Bass to where your left foot is on highhat, mines on 2nd bass pedal , guitar player here but tinker with Tama set, so I could do that at :8:55 pretty easy since Im already used to that pattern & movement.
Hey Terry, great video! On an unrelated note, what is your experience with Paiste Blue Label Formula 602's? Ever owned one? Looking into buying an older one from the 70's....
I love this channel, your love for drums, bonzos drumming and your insanity. it speaks to me.
Dude, you seriously have the best drumming channel!!

You can say what you want about marching drumming , but there’s a lot you can learn from it !

Thank you, Ludwiggal!
This is what I was looking for. I'd love to see more instructions incorporating the paradiddles into the Bonham Engine
Yes- I've improved enough to demonstarte that. I'll do that.
@@bonzoleum thanks so much
Another great one Terry! Thanks, now I’m off to practice these, lol.
Your presentation and quirky comments are awesome, great job!

Thank you, Sig! I appreciate your fandom!
Great video! I do have trouble with this (the bonham engine) but i'm sure as i practice it more it will become easier.
Just be patient with yourself. “If you DO it, it WILL come.”
That's exactly right.
This is great info!
Thanks Rick!
Hahahaha!!!!!!!!!! Dude, I freaking LOVE your videos and your awesome sense of humor! An "anvil?"...….BWA HAHAHAHAHA!!!
This guy's the real deal as Bonham was, unlike an over-educated puppet teacher with tunnel vision

Thank you, D!
Do a 'The Bonham Engine' T-shirt.
Blackrolite sounds awesome!!
I'm using a classic 1970s Ludwig Pedal. Seen any before? It doesn't have a name but it is pretty nice.
How do you have your kick tuned? Sounds freakin amazing
Dude you could teach knitting and I’d be interested in your videos.
Paradiddle is drumming!!!!
Sorry I have trouble understanding stickings as applied to the kit.
So is the point to enable u to free up your hands to access the rest of the kit?
Thank you buddy!
"The Last of the First before the Middle'"
What would you suggest I do if I feel off center when trying to keep the hi hat going on the "Bonzoleum Engine"?
You might be sitting too high.
