I rode Metro-North from 1985 to 1989 Peekskill to GCT. They were still using 1950's stainless Budd cars pulled by beat-up FL-9's. As the Bombardier cars came on line, they started sprucing up the FL-9's. Red & blue Metro North was usual but then there were New Haven McGinnis. I always hoped I would see New York Central Lightning Stripes but never did. Low platform in those days. Thanks for this!
