Last year I went to see Earthless in Brooklyn and got to meet Isaiah Mitchell. Probably the nicest dude I've ever met. I asked for a picture and he was super cool about it. We even got to talk about Strats being our favorite guitars. Before the show started he was walking up the stage and right before he got on he tapped my shoulder and said "hope you enjoy the show". He's definitely one of my favorite guitar players.
Well, I can remember you from the battle of the bands in Marietta Poupee school. I’m sure you won’t remember me, but that’s all right. Man been playing session for about 30 years now. Hope all is well with you. Don’t know if you remember smoking a bowl with me and making Georgia but we had a great time at the concert man definitely a good one back in the beginning for you guys. Either way this orange pedal is awesome. The overdrive is even though it did not exist in the 70s and as a new creation, although orange has not publicize that there was no orange overdrive, Marshall was the first to deliver on an antenna box and that’s exactly what their overdrive is is there overdrive amp in a box, even though it’s not as detailed of a pedal it’s certainly big enough lol either way great for getting Paul Kossoff town with a Les Paul and certainly for other 70s rock but just wanted to tell you since I saw your video for the first time and saw you on UA-cam Good luck man. I hope things look up for you guys and I hope you continue to do better and improve. You had a lot of great things in front of you and you know I know you got sidetracked and that thing with page yeah, that was bad. Either way some people just don’t know when to keep their mouth shut and he’s just not somebody to make bad comments about but I do wish you the best You know Drivin’ N’ Cryin’ is still rock in the fucking house I played for them and Virginia not too long ago opened and they’re still doing it just the way they were back in the day of the battle of the bands, bro I don’t know if you remember, my friend, Tony Stevens Ended up going off to bury college, but he was a totally blind guitarist, and I am as well blind, but I was not back in those days. Either way not time for a high school reunion now, but good luck to you bro. I truly hope things look up don’t be remembered as well do something now so that the memories of being too hard to handle don’t keep on your forever dude, you can tell me to fuck off you want but you’re a good guy man none of that shit had to happen you guys should’ve made it big a lot bigger than you did and you should still be rockin. There’s no reason for it I mean the singer not talking to the drummer for a year really come on guys Chris wasn’t that kind of asshole years ago later But yeah dude done a lot of the people there was no prince for an overdrive and 1970 for orange not ever only the other petals existed. The overdrive is truly brand new, although with a vintage look and nobody is jealous again. 6:24
If you ever chance to see an Earthless show, arrive early and check out how Isaiah treats house crew (well, with respect for their contribution, FWIW). That's the measure of a real musician and a true gentleman. Most guitarists of his talents are kinda dicks: they had to be to isolate themselves for years woodshopping. But this gentle dude in the flannel will melt your face once he starts playing. It's fascinating!
@@hanswurst579 - Did you want him to bring his full rig out from storage and just to play these through it? Not realistic. Here are some pedals. Make a demo.
@@siphillipson1099 thanks! I couldn't make out the name on the headstock. That thing is very cool, love the tele style bridge pickup and charlie christian neck combo. I guess Prisma is a boutique type brand, quite pricey

Same got to chat with him in Mario in Vegas. Cool dudes. Was a rad show
Orange, great choice of guy to demo these, definitely one of my favorite guitarist out there right now and a solid down to earth dude.
Isaiah is the man !!
One of the best guitar players today, cool demo
My favourite current player...could make anything sing, but that phaser definately cooks...the sustain sounds like it adds some compression?
Does sound alot like a compressor here
It is a compression pedal, Avery good one, that adds also a bit of grit to the sound. I own it and I can attest it is really good.
Black Heaven riff for the distorsion pedal ;)

I like orange
Same man

Did he just say, "some old schematics with jizz stains on them"?
tea stains
Lovely dude, outstanding playing! Let him play a bit more of an amp/cab next time ;)
You realize this is a pedal demo video, not about the amp? 😐
@@Burnt_Gerbil yes, still...
@@hanswurst579 - Still what? He played through a combo amp behind him.
@@Burnt_Gerbil exactly

Nice
Does anyone know what guitar he has here?
I was trying to find out too, I think it's a Prisma, I think the model is called the Mattsonia.

Made in San Francisco out of old skateboards. Really good guitars I've met the maker a couple times he's a really cool guy
What Amp is he using in this video?
not all of these pedals are original old circuits, you could be more honest and straightforward about that, dear orange. i'd still buy them.
What amp is used for this demo??
That's really good question. It looks like a 10 inch speaker so maybe one of those Rocker 15 combo or cr35 !? I don't know for sure.
🍊
He's so high
He's been sober since 2016 from alcohol, he is the best guitarist alive imo
Ерасов выпускал педали в таких огромных корпусах, это неудобно и некрасиво, имея возможности запихнуть схему в 1590В или G0124, а то в Сникерс формат.
